We finally had a chance to have a sumptuous lunch at the Noodles and Company after so many attempts to do so. It never failed us at all! The atmosphere and ambiance as soon as you walk-in is very welcoming and cozy. We were greeted so warmly by their very courteous Manager, Jesse Gutierrez, who was so cordial in suggesting several of their most in-demand specials such as the Pad Thai, Wisconsin Cheese Steak, and their creamy Tomato Basil Bisque. It was a ‘delish’ lunch ‘worth’ having and truly enjoying! Their service is ‘Phenomenal’! A ‘BIGSHOUTOUT’ to their wonderful staff, Marcy, Billy, Jake and David! «THANKYOU» for making us feel like home. Highly Recommended! Check Them Out People! It’s All ‘Worth’ It! — Bong & Anita Tongol

The food really lacked flavor unfortunately … I really can’t put a finger on it other than the ingredients weren’t fresh is my guess. One try that’s all

A-Ok for a quick and inexpensive«fast food» meal. I have been to Noodles three times now and each time I could see improvements. Today I tried the Korean BBQ Meatballs which were free since I had answered an on-line survey. The counter person suggested I order the large(10 pieces) rather than the small(5 pieces) since they were free. Enough to share with DH. And a nice«add on» to our pasta dishes. I have also tried soup, salad, and flat bread. i have been to a couple of Noodles & Company restaurants in the Chicago area. My memory is that they were better than the Concord store, although one would think a large chain would be uniform between locations. For a few bucks more, I prefer Panera, but will keep Noodles on my list of fast food options.

Love it when you can find fast food Vegan. I had the Bangkok Curry and added Tofu. It was really good! They have some good beers to choose from too.

Flavorless. Nothing Asian fusion about this place. I had been wanting to try this place since it opened and it was gross. I would not return. I ordered the Bangkok curry after asking the cashier his opinion if it was good. He recommended it highly. OMG when I ate it, it was so bland I wish I would have grabbed some siracha sauce just to give it some sort of flavor. All it is, is tossed noodles with small shrimp(that cost extra BTW) and some seasoning dumped on top. A bunch of onions and a few pieces of broccoli. I would not call that curry. Just gross. I was expecting much more. I want my $ 12 back.

This review is based on my first visit, last Sunday at lunchtime(11:30 or so). Pros: Reasonably priced. Portion size is fair for what you pay. Staff seemed friendly enough. Cons: The food. Sorry, but my wife’s pad thai and my Indonesian peanut noodles were virtually indistinguishable; even the server could not tell them apart! In addition, the grilled chicken in my noodles was over-seasoned with an aggressively flavored rub, and also it had a strange, almost rubbery texture. My wife said the shrimp in her pad thai tasted«cheap», not plump and fresh. Also, the noodles themselves were clumpy; and finally, the vegetables(broccoli especially) in my noodles were nearly non-existent. There were a couple of tables inside that were full of empty trays, cups, bowls, etc., and needed cleaning, but there appeared to be no staff assigned to bussing and cleaning tables. Verdict: Fail. However, I may, MAY return to try one of the other styles of noodle, but my initial experience was below expectations. Grade: C-.

First Impression: Nice place. Very clean and modern looking. Many choices to choose from the menu. Food came pretty fast and very clean place. First impression when I got my food was that it was in a big bowl but small serving. The food was good but the serving stayed with me the rest of the night. It was a bit pricy but it was good. Overall, it was good and make sure when you go, you have ATLEAST $ 5.

Ugh… I tried to like this place. I even came here twice. It seemed pretty healthy and the idea was great. But both times I ordered different things, the first some shrimp thai noodle flavored dish that was too sweet and the 2nd time I ordered something different with pork and more of a low carb type dish. They forgot to add the meat, even though I paid for it. I didn’t notice til I walked back to my hotel(across the street) and of course by then I don’t know what I did with the receipt. I also didn’t want to have to walk back. I tasted it but once again it was too sweet. I am not sure why the sauces are so sweet but it was like eating sweet veggies since they forgot me meat. Bleh… I’ll pass. I threw it out and I never throw food out! lol

I really love this place! I’ve been here twice now and they are always packed!(Good sign of good food!) I get the Japanese pan noodles with shrimp and they definitely don’t skimp out on the shrimp! Fresh and flavorful, I sometimes crave this place!!! And they have sririacha :) The staff is always really friendly, and it’s cool the owner let’s them keep their individual style-seen a girl with purple hair like me– so rad! It’s 2016, about time places encourage individuals to have their own style! Will definitely keep coming back! Try this place, they have noodles of all flavors and styles and fresh veggies that are chopped fresh everyday

I’ve been eyeing to try this place out and I just tried out their San Francisco location over the weekend and it wasn’t that bad of an experience. I was digging their layout: simplistic with a modern twist. Not sure if anyone else thought this but I initially had the idea that this place would be a choose your noodle and sauce/topping/etc. like the other new hip places have been all about but not here and I was sad :(my dreams of having spaghetti noodles with some chicken pesto Alfredo sauce will never come true or Asian thick noodles with spaghetti sauce !? *le sigh Besides all that, I thought that the customer service at both locations(SF and here) were friendly and courteous. Both locations were also decently well kept. I ordered their large pesto cavatappi($ 6.29) and added their Parmesan crusted chicken($ 2.69). I do like this dish BUT using curly pasta just doesn’t do any creamy sauce justice which is where this dish falls short from deliciousness. I wish it was penne instead. Another thing is that I’ve ordered both their chicken styles for my pasta: grilled and Parmesan crusted and the grilled style is WAY better than the Parmesan crusted one. Parmesan crusted literally looked like beef jerky, I’m not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to look like but it wasn’t appetizing nor did it taste good(picture included with review). OVERALL: I personally think that this place is a quick spot to get pasta cravings out the way, the employees have been laid back so far and the parking isn’t too bad yet(because of habit and jimmy johns opening up next door). NOTES: *2nd time having their pesto cavatappi was a little more on the saltier side. * a large portion of any of their pasta dishes is enough to share. * in a jiffy? You can order through their website. * what’s a ‘buff’ bowl? Some of their pastas can be made with veggies instead of pasta. I thought their buff bowls meant that it was a smaller portion than their small. * it was freezing inside when I went in, hopefully it isn’t that cold all the time in there, I instantly left as soon as I got my food.

Super convenient. Not super tasty. The Thai curry soup was meh. The Indonesian Peanut Sauté was dry. The only good thing is that it really was spicy. Lots of places say the food is spicy, but it isn’t. I’d skip this and go to a real Thai place.

Probably won’t go back. Food was ok, 2.5 stars. Price was way to high for what you get, over $ 9 for a bowl of noodles and chicken? We got the pad Thai. I would suggest going to a real Thai or Asian place and getting it to go.

I am trying to be understanding because this location just opened, but after a sticker price of $ 34 for a family of four we just would like«decent» food… it doesn’t have to be over the top… I would even accept a little above mediocre… I understand it is fast food… but this level of «crap» was completely unacceptable. Completely inedible… We got up… Lesson learn and went down the«sidewalk» to The Habit to just get some edible food in our belly. Noodles were«gummy» obviously recooked or reheated for speed. Meat quality is below«poor». Be cautious when ordering any meat products in your food… so bad it is concerning. Way over seasoned and the cooks have little to no training on how to make any of the sauces… especially any cream sauces. I immediately felt sick. GOTOTHEHABITORJIMMYJOHNS they are in the same shopping center.

This is my first time coming to this place. The first issue that I saw was that people were looking at the menu(which is hanging on the wall right when you walk in) and couldn’t decide what they wanted(which holds up the line). There are menus available that you can grab and look at while you are standing in line. The second issue that I saw was that there are only TWO cash registers. In my opinion, if there were 4 cash registers the line would move a lot faster. I came into this place at a 11:49AM on a Friday and the line was already long. I can’t imagine how the line is during lunch time. If you are on your lunch break or in a rush, I would recommend calling in your order. I ordered Pad Thai. In my opinion, the color was pale and the taste was bland(I have included pictures). I ordered the large size, but they only filled up the container halfway(I have included a picture of this as well). I understand that this place just opened and some kinks need to be worked out. In all honesty, I’m not sure if I’ll be returning back to this place.

UPDATE5÷8÷16: Ok, I decided to give this place another try. My daughter ordered the pasta pesto and she said it was good. I ordered the Pad Thai(again) even though when I ordered it the first time around, it was bland and I was NOT impressed. It must be dependent on who is cooking that day because my Pad Thai was actually flavorful. It was not dry and pale in color like the first time I ordered it. I didn’t know how it would taste, so I ordered the small size. If I had known it would be flavorful this time around, I would have ordered the large size. This is my first time coming to this place. My first visit was cool! I was helped with the ordering process from Andrew. Told him it was my first time and he was totally cool with it and gave me the rundown on the ordering and such. Nice and patient dude. I ordered a chicken Caesar sandwich. I wanted something fairly easy that gunna hold up the line either. It was really yummy. Spicy chicken aplenty. Zesty Caesar dressing. Price was $ 6.69. Reasonable. Wait time was reasonable as well, about 6 – 7 minutes. Found a seat at the bar type tables that look out the windows. I just got a bottled water however, they do have a soda machine and they also sell select craft beers. Seemed like a fast paced working crew, busing tables, bringing patrons their food and friendly banter. I like to try out the noodles next time. Maybe a beer too!

This is a good fast lunch kind of place. It’s new. The dishes are pretty basic from mac&cheese to salads like Caesar or tomato/cucumber. They offer small($ 4.89) bowls and regular size($ 6.29). I tried Japanese bowl with broccoli & carrots. You can add steak if you want. I personally like only organic meats and since they didn’t offer that option I went without it. You can add chicken or shrimp as well. My bowl came with a side soup. I chose tomato bisque. It was good. Little too chunky but good for the price. Service was fast and knowledgeable. My total meal was $ 4.57. This is way better than McDonalds or other fast food chains.

New and not organized. No system. My family came in here for dinner 01÷15÷16 ordered Phad Thai with green salad, beef stroganoff, chicken Caesar sandwich, soup and kids meal. Waited for 15 minutes before the table we were seating on got cleaned and bussed from the last customers who ate. 20minutes past and the Phad Thai, beef stroganoff and kids meal were served but no sandwich and salad. 10 mins after still nothing so we approached the counter and expecting they are going to make it. Another 10 mins and still nothing so went back to them asked for the food and nobody is preparing and the crew are pointing at each other blaming each other and yelling. Called for the manager, his name is Ryan Peacock and asked to refund me my money. And I didn’t get the refund fixed. I’m not going to doubt the food taste good but Total Waste of time and horrible horrible service. I don’t even want to give 1star. 01÷15÷167:09pm order#30063

Husband and I came here for dinner after a friend said his wife was a chef here(which apparently wasn’t the case, after we arrived and found nobody by her name worked there). But we stayed and each ordered a large noodle bowl, and I added a soup to mine and a Caesar salad to Casey’s. My salad was a little over-dressed but it was good. Thai curry soup was my favorite, though I wish it had a little more broth and a little less noodle(but the right amount of veggies!) Casey ordered noddles with butter for his dinner and I had a thai curry noodle dish that was pretty good, though could have used more red cabbage and maybe a little more curry. But overall it was a good amount of food and a good value. I’d return but probably only to try another soup or salad.

Noodles & Company just opened up in the newly built complex near where I’m often at in Concord. Right by Trader Joe’s making it a convenient after work stop. I was half expecting it to be Chipotle style but it’s really not. You order from a set, but diverse menu, then sit down and wait for your food to come out. You don’t get to follow it along the line choosing what you want to add or delete from the bowl, even if everything is made to order. I ordered the Japanese Pan Fried Noodle. You have to pay an extra $ 2something to add tofu but it’s certainly worth it. Otherwise it’s more of an appetizer. The caramelized udon noodles soaked up so much flavor. The tofu was cooked and glazed with the sauce. Not just thrown in as an afterthought. I would appreciate more broccoli to make the dish more substantial but the flavors were on point. My honey got the Curry Noodles which were decent but bland. Especially if you are at all into Thai food. It was marked with a V for Vegetarian but it doesn’t look to be dairy free from the online menu. In fact it’s not. They use milk for some strange reason. Definitely inquire if you are Vegan or have allergies as it looks like the Japanese and Indonesian dishes are your best bets. I appreciate that the bowls are ceramic and not something else like paper or cardboard. They have wooden chopsticks, the requisite Cocksauce, and a spicy powdered spice blend that added a little kick to the noodles. They also have one of those cool Coke machines where you can build your ultimate soda, if you’re into that sorta thing. Although the options here looked limited compared to others I’ve seen. I would appreciate if they had a place for you to leave the empty dishes and trash as I saw several booths that were empty, save for some used bowls and trash on the tables. Not that lazy folks would actually use that option, but it would be nice to be able to drop off my dishes on the way out. Overall, I’m certainly a fan. Although I wish there were more options. I appreciate that there are 16 dishes that are Vegetarian without the need to substitute. Sure you can add meat if you want, but since the dish begins as Vegetarian, it’s a win/win for everyone. Well, except Vegan folk that is…

We went here for a quick lunch and it’s pretty good. Neely opened and they have their timing down. I was thinking of a Phở place with the name but it’s a little more than that. They serve Pasta and little Sandwich and Salad combos. The menu does have some varieties and different combinations. I had chose the Wisconsin cheesesteak with a small Chicken noodle soup as a side. My kids had ordered a Buttered pasta and lil one had ordered a Mac n Cheese with a little Krispy treat. I like the choices like Potstickers or different starters. It was lunchtime but they was plenty of seating, and parking. Not too bad on the wallet and service is friendly. Great place to stop by if your in a rush or want to take out for lunch.

They serve individual portions of all different kinds of pasta dishes. I should have done my research better, because my cousin wanted ramen and this is not the place for it, if you’re looking for ramen or noodle soup of any kind don’t come here. Ha Ha, i was duped. :) I ordered the Beef Stroganoff and she had the Japanese Pan Noodles, she also ordered an appetizer of pot stickers. I enjoyed my dish, it was really tasty, not over spiced or salty and it was a good size portion. The appetizers were a bit bland, good thing there was a spicy dipping sauce to go with the pot stickers. Also the pot stickers themselves were flat in shape. I’m not sure how they’re made, but pot stickers are not supposed to be flat like pancakes. It wasn’t pleasing to the eye. The dishes are reasonably priced for the portions you receive. It’s different, I think it’s a northern california chain. I did notice they served Honest Tea which is a Fair Trade Product, thought that was pretty cool! They also offer up gluten free and vegetarian dishes, another plus! I might come here again, but it wasn’t one of those experiences where the food or the atmosphere stood out, it was just a new experience.

Hmm, ok. That’s what pretty much comes to mind when I think about my experience at this place. This place is newly open so the line is long(good luck with parking). I had the small Japanese pan noodles. It was very ok. Small portion so if you want a larger position, get the larger size. I added steak which made it better(I recommend doing this). I went to lunch with a friend and she got the penne and added grilled chicken. She liked it and said it was good. The tables for 2 is kind of tight but works for a lunch setting. The last time I went to a noodles was over a year ago, probably won’t be back for another year.

Have you ever wanted to go to a place and be able to sample the world without having to go to a mediocre or pricey buffet? Have you ever in your long legged life, loved a long legged Salior and his long legged wife? Off topic, I know, but here is my review for Noodles and Company. My first option was to eat at the then still not open«The Habit» a bit discouraged I happen to walk past this place and the sign said«Now Open» and the concept of an «All Noodle» spot was just intriguing enough to make me walk in. So I did and was pretty impressed. I had expected on the menu to see more of the fancier noodle and pasta dishes. They have Mac and Cheese on here, I smiled knowing they have that in particular because it means they are trying to cover all grounds. They of course have the Asian inspired noodle options and Italian options as to be honestly expected. They also have portion options here $ 5.99 for a Regular serving and $ 4.69 for a Small serving. With additional toppings neing calculated into the ultimate amount. On this visit I went with the Regular Japanese Pan Noodles with Shrimp added which was $ 2.99. The noodles tasted pretty good. It was cooked in what tasted like a Hoisen Sauce and Black Sesame Seeds was added to the dish to round out the flavor component. Bean Sprouts and Carriots added the fresh and crunch factor here that made every bite worthwhile. The added shrimp didn’t add much to the complementing factor of the dish, but all in all was a nice protein I felt rounded out this Japanese inspired dish. Honestly after finishing my bowl I wanted more. The place is brand new and still relatively untouched, as of this review its only been open a now solid week. So clean it was, Great Looking it was, but service is lacking. Everyone was in the back talking when I stepped up to the counter. One person said they’ll be with me and a few minuets later I finally got help. I think businesses with management as young as the regular employees lack in service. Hopefully on my next visit they have this all figured out and see that is is a working environment and not a place to talk amongst your friends when you have hungey people waiting. In conclusion, this place is very nice. It’s trendy and hip. As soon as they get the wine and beer in, its really going to compliment the type of establishment it is. The feel of this place is fine dining in an affordable setting. It’s located off Concord Ave in Concord. Across the street from the Toyota Dealership on the same strip with The Habit and the soon coming Jimmy Johns Subs. Oh may I mention Trader Joes and one of the many Starbucks also share the same strip. Highway 680 is right up the street. So if you’re in Concord, drop by and try this place out. Something on the menu for everyone, even the kiddos. As always Unilocal your own experience!

Wifey and I came here opening night. They are still working out some kinks, but overall this will be a great lunch spot. Service was fast and courteous, food was delicious. I got the stroganoff and a side of chicken noodle soup. The noodles are delicious! Definitely tasted home made. The soup was savory and satisfying, with very flavorful chicken meat. The stroganoff was pretty good too! The steak they had in it was very flavorful, along with a rich creamy sauce… and those noodles! Wifey got the Japanese pan noodles with the pork, also very, very good. If I didn’t know better, I would of thought both dishes came from different restaurants. They also have beer! I’ll be back.

I also attended the preview ‘friends and family’ soft opening dinner. I ordered the Japanese pan noodles with steak. I am a big fan of udon noodles in general. Ambiance: fast casual, line moves quickly even with many patrons. The menu is easy to understand. Price: While my meal was free the menu prices seemed reasonable. A bowl of noodles is 5.99 pre tax. I would recommend that they get another beverage dispenser since it’s a touchscreen and gets backed up quickly. Love that they have sparkling water as an option! I liked my dish except it was too sweet for me. Only taking one star off because it is listed as being in a sweet soy sauce base so it is advertised as such. The steak pieces were good, noodles cooked nicely, presentation perfect and a nice meal for a cold evening. I will return and order something else. My friend got the Tuscan chicken with whole wheat pasta and parmesan cheese it looked superb. Another friend got the Mac and cheese with meatballs he loved it. The manager came around twice to ask us about our experience and chat. Really nice touch! Good addition to the shopping center.
