The food was terrific. I ordered the Mushu Duck as an appetizer and it left me wanting more. The Be Bim Bop(beef) was my entrée, it was a deconstructed version of the traditional Korean plate and it was very thoughtfully made. The menu is exciting, albeit, smallish. I took away a star from the review because of the hours that this restaurant is opened. The restaurant is closed three days a week and there are no lunch hours. The food and the service were excellent.

Delicious, delicious! The food is wonderful and the service is on point but the ambience leaves a little to be desired. I think that the overall experience would be enhanced by a little bit of music! Great addition to Concord.

very good asian fusion. salmon tartare was very tasty, beef short ribs were moist and flavorful, crispy shrimp was good. probably one of the best restaurants in the concord area. Only comment is that each plate is a little too pricey especially considering restaurant prices for the area. will definitely be back though

New Years Eve 2015 Last meal of ’15 was great! The salmon appetizer was fabulous. Duck entrée was superb!!! Disappointing to see so many empty tables on such a busy restaurant night It was a bit pricey, but a great meal can out weigh price any time!!!

I’ve been to Sunny’s many times because the food is fantastic. However I am becoming increasingly uncomfortable. If you walk in the door any time after 8:00 the hostess will glance at her watch and Sunny will also look at the clock and you feel as though your arrival is an imposition. I then feel rushed to get my order in and to eat and leave so they can close up and go home. When a restaurant advertises that they are open until 9:00PM it usually means that they want the orders in by 9:00 and they will remain there to serve you until you are finished dining. This is not the case at Sunny’s. Their food is terrific but I would like them to either change their hours or be more hospitable.

No matter you like asian food or fusion food, this is the BEST food place in Concord. Hands down. It has great service and great food with a classy yet casual interior.

I’ve had two meals here, and both have been top notch! First time I got the beef bibimbap, the second time I went I got the beef short ribs. If I had to pick which I liked better, I’d pick the short ribs, but both meals were stupendous. Service was great as well. I wish they had a full bar, but that is a really minor gripe, and would never stop me from going back again.

I had the Angry Shrimp and Pork Belly. My wife had the Short Rib plate. It was excellent. Portions are not large, but they are just right. I am happy my research for restaurants in the area paid off.

Waited way too long to make my maiden voyage here. So, it’s a typical slow Wednesday, but the kitchen is working like it’s the weekend. Amazing salmon tartare; we eat this everywhere right?, but not like this. Fragrant oil, sublime fish, and amazing balance. Food truck tacos with pork belly — good. But not as good as the duck breast. Crispy shrimp curry spot on. Great garam masala in the curry amd heated to my satisfaction — dont try this at home New Hampshire. Short, simple, but ultimately well chosen wine list. Looking forward to my next meal here… soon

My wife and I decide to give Sunnys a try after our first choice had a 1.5 hour wait and were we lucky! The interior is very warm and inviting. I started with a salad, which came with some very different by tasty flavor. My wife ordered the salmon a while I had the beef and rice entrée. We both really loved our meals. We both strong recommend trying Sunnys a try next time you are looking for some excellent food in Concord NH. We both look forward to eating there again.

My boyfriend and I went here a few weeks ago for a date. We thought it was okay and we are glad we tried it. The waitress was fantastic, she was super upbeat, happy, and attentive. She had great recommendations. The food was good, but it was a little pricey for what it is. We probably wouldn’t go out of our way to go there again, but we definitely enjoyed the experience.

This is what I wrote in November 2013(but apparently forgot to post): Consistently great food and excellent service. Hopping tonight. Here’s what I can add in December 2014: We love this place and have visited it a few times per year since it opened. The food and service are always wonderful. I sometimes wish there were more entrée options but that’s just a quibble.

I had stopped here a few weeks ago, but I am finally getting around to writing a quick review. I heard good things about this place before I arrived so I already knew what I wanted to try. I ordered the Korean Food Truck Pork Belly Tacos and the Salmon tartare, both were delicious. The tacos were a real stand out for me. Sometimes I prefer to get a few different appetizers and skip the entrée,(I can count on my wife to be unable to finish hers) My wife ordered the be bim bop and it was delicious as well and a good portion size too.. We also enjoyed a few local IPA’s with our meal that were both real good, but right now I cannot remember the names of them. I will be back!

We were walking around Concord one early evening and happened to see Sunny’s. The menu looked interesting so we decided to give it a try. The service was great and I loved the spicy Thai fried chicken legs. The flavors were interesting, the spiciness just right. The one issue I had was with the vegetables, which were fresh and cooked just right, but way over salted. Almost too salty to eat. Maybe it’s my taste, but most chefs seem to have a bad salt-habit.

First impressions go a long way with me, and the first impression of Sunny’s Table was a great dining experience in a nice comfortable setting with good service. Pan-asian eclectic fusion like many of the reviewers before have gone to is the best way to describe the menu. There are some off menu items that can also be discussed I’m sure, in advance or by just introducing yourself to the chef and maybe just pointing out you’d like to try something off the menu. I digress. we opted for the small plate offerings and did not disappoint. The pork belly tacos, koren food truck style were great. Just the right balance of fattiness to the acidic slaw.perfect. The kimchee quesadillas. again nice balance of flavors with a nice small slab of smoky bacon perched on top. The seared foie gras kabayaki was delicious, but was a bit out of place for me anyways. rich and fatty as expected, the sweet jam/reduction on the plate bringing it all together. Didn’t expect it, but Sunny sent out a nice plate of something a bit of a more Korean flair. a spicy Golbangyi(snail) perched a top of a nicely lightly crisped nori strip. We devoured these… Next up, for me anyways, was the standby; beef be bim bop. Probably one of THE best variation of this classic. Layers of flavors and textures and perfectly cooked mid rare beef… and lastly the cumin chocolate mousse-brulé would make jeebus weep it was so rich and nom. The cumin worked perfectly with the chocolate. Overall, highly recommended and will definitely be back. local purveyor and innovative in the kitchen. Lived up to the recommendation we got for sure. Heads up, for larger groups; there is a larger communal in the center of the room that would perfectly for a big group. Limited offerings for alcohol so be aware of that going in. the sake did the trick though. Server was cute and sure of herself throughout. Delicious food, excellent service! The menu is really eclectic, offering all manner of Asian cuisines, so there’s really something for everyone. I tried the salmon tartare to start. It was really good — surprisingly spicy. I also tried one of my brother in law’s crab cakes, which I liked better than the salmon tartare. It was AMAZING. My entrée was the chicken tikka masala, which was perfect. For dessert I had the cumin chocolate mousse-brulé — YUM. I like mixing different spices with chocolate, but cumin is not one I’ve thought to try. It was an unexpected twist that actually worked. They have a good wine selection, and we got a nice bottle of Malbec for the table. My dad tried to order a martini, but they only have beer, wine, and I think sake. Service was great. We were a party of 6 on a busy Friday night, and our server was really on top of things. She was friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. Food came out quickly, and water glasses were kept full. Next time I’m in town to see my parents I will definitely ask to come back here!

I have been to Sunny’s Table about 6 or 7 times and I love it. I even invited my brother down from Hanover who is a Chef just so he could try Sunny’s food! He loved it! I am a big fan of Sunny’s spicier dishes and the atmosphere is nice too!

Another terrific meal at one of our favorite NH restaurants. We are fortunate that we are in harvest season, and Sunny embraces the use of local foods, be they greens, grains or meats. The Heirloom Tomato salad was absolutely delicious — several variety of local tomato, watermelon that melted in our mouths, and just a touch of local corn — just off the cob. All with a drizzle of a rice wine vinaigrette. Thanks again for exceeding our expectations!

You can tell from reading some of my other reviews that I’m usually not a fan of pan-Asian or Asian«fusion» restaurants: Too many times, such eateries merely serve an unfocused variety of subpar Asian standards, simply fail to execute the subtleties demanded by very different Asian cuisines, and/or, worst of all, dumb down bold Asian flavors for Middle American tastes. Sunny’s Table, without doubt, qualifies as a pan-Asian restaurant, and this made me skeptical going in. Another big-time restaurant trend in the last several years is «farm to table» dining, a idea that I’m totally on-board with conceptually but that I sometimes get skeptical about individual restaurants’ sincerity about. Well, Sunny’s combines both trends and occupies a niche I’ve never seen before: Farm-to-table Asian fusion! In this case, it works. On its face, I don’t think Sunny’s menu is all that interesting: a Vietnamese pork-chop dish, a bibimbap variation, a Chinese noodle dish, a tikka masala dish(Brit-Indian fusion in its own right?), and so on. But where Sunny’s gets by, though, is on execution. Simply put, the food was very good. We went to Sunny’s with our Concord friends, so we got to try several things: Another and I and another had the«Angry Shrimp,» which featured plump shrimp, pork belly, and veggies on Chinese ramen noodles, with a hot-and-spicy but well-balanced sauce. The Vietnamese«skinny grilled pork chop» was pounded thin, cooked perfect and tender with nice grill marks, and served with very fresh herbs. And a special on the night we were there, Malaysian beef rendang, was like the best beef shorts ribs you’ve had in a while, but with a Southeast Asian flavor profile. Salmon tartare was a really good appetizer; it had a spicy kick but not so much as to overwhelm the flavor of the fresh-tasting fish. Korean chicken wings were just a’ight; Sunny’s ain’t kidding when it calls them«sticky.» I see some complaints about the heat levels here, and our server told us that some diners had complained specifically about the spiciness of the Angry Shrimp. But if you’ve had any authentic Szechuan, Thai, Korean, etc., food, you probably won’t find the stuff at Sunny’s to be particularly hot, and I’d hate to think the kitchen would tone it down because of a wussy minority. I don’t know how closely Sunny’s actually hews to the farm-to-table concept, but everything tasted very fresh, and all the meats and seafood were cooked(or not cooked, in the case of the tartare) just about as on-the-money as you can cook them. Décor was kind of the slick modern industrial variety, with dark-but-not-too-dark lighting. High ceilings and good table spacing helped with the noise levels.(Or maybe Concord folks just aren’t very boisterous.) Our server seemed to know the menu inside and out and was really helpful. A really positive experience. P. S. Hat-tip to Sunny’s for not feeling compelled to offer sushi, which seems to be almost obligatory in pan-Asian restaurants these days.
