Starving Artists Moving

Let me start out by saying I had used this company in 2008 and was very pleased. When i purchased a new house, I called SAM and arranged for a «move». Chris was very pleasant and accommodating on the phone. The day finally arrived for the move. I was at the new house, my S.O. was awaiting SAM arrival at the old house. At the walk through, it was discovered a few mouse droppings in the basement. At that point, «Chuck»?, the foreman took it upon himself and state that the whole house was infested. He told me over the phone that he did not see anything on any other floor, but reported to the office he did! With five cats, not one mouse had a chance in hell on the main floor. However, since that was noted in a closed basement, they were «unable to service me». Living in N.H. in the woods, I’m sure you will find many homes with mouse droppings at some point. «Chuck» was very unprofessional, making derogatory remarks about the situation that should not have even been made an issue.
Having left with no movers on a Friday… we were able to employ a very reputable moving company the next day.
Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!

Due to poor communication I did not have a great experience with this company. However I will say I was impressed with the follow up and passion for his company from the president, usually a good sign.

No complaints about SAM. They moved my furniture and they did it in a reasonable amount of time. The people on the phones were very polite from the very beginning. We were nervous since a lot of people were moving out the same day and another truck was taking up the loading dock and elevators, but the three men on the crew figured it out, got the other truck to move and were efficient. The prices were good and I will use them the next time I need a mover.
