Well, I got an email about a follow-up about this incident and was told that I’ll get a follow-up email from the store manager. Nope. Till this day, it hasn’t happened. And until this day, I decided to not go back to Peets either.

Good service but in NORCAL they have not yet been able to accept payment through any APPS unlike Starbucks.

Peets Coffee is the alternative to the other big coffee chain. Although they both specialize in coffee, they could not be further apart from one another. Peets focus is around their dark roast coffees. Don’t walk in to Peets and think you can order the same as the other big chain, you have to really take some time and decide what kind of coffee flavor you are in the mood for. Coffee is truly at the center of Peets, I can always walk into these coffee shops and expect to have a great cup of brew. There was no additional fluff… just coffee.

One of the better Peet’s I’ve been to. The service here is super good and the ladies working were so amiable! They greeted everyone who came in with open arms(not literally) and it was a nice change of pace from a typical Peet’s/Starbucks experience. I just got a normal coffee(nothing out of this world, but not awful by any means) and a blueberry muffin(so flippin good). I was impressed with how stocked they were of all the coffee extras. They had all full creamers and sugar stuff as well as sleeves, stirrers, etc. Peet’s usually slacks on all of that stuff so I was impressed(although this may also have been because it was the beginning of the day). Overall I had a great experience here and will come back if I’m in the area for a coffee fix!

Looking back, I read some of the reviews for this location, and I don’t know why anyone would waste their time going down the street to Starbucks for coffee. I’ll admit, I used to be a Starbucks coffee fan… until I found Peet’s. If you know your coffee, you wouldn’t bother with Starbucks either. I am a frequent Peet’s customer so they know my name and my drink when I walk in the door. This is one of my favorite locations because of the staff! They’re really friendly, they go out of their way to make sure you’re getting what you want and they are professional. I don’t ever see anyone rudely having conversations while helping customers, and it doesn’t matter who makes my drinks, they are all great baristas. This location has a great vibe with some great staff members. Keep up the great work guys!

99% consistent hear unless you get them a little irritated which I seem to do so they let me know by miss handling my order. I get simple tea now so no more irritants.

No longer a great Peets. Too many times their«system» was down and couldn’t use my Peets card, which I prefer in the morning instead of juggling change. Also, many servers just don’t get what it means when I ask for a coffee with«no room»(hint: it doesn’t mean a half inch of room). Locations isn’t very good, which isn’t the store’s fault but I don’t want to deal with vagrants and fundraisers(D.A.R.E) asking for money and cussing me out.

Ha ha! I recently visited this Peet’s location, after I saw the holiday special they’re having. All holiday drinks purchased after 12pm are 50% off, can’t go wrong with that! The first time I went in to use the discount the customer service person said they only honored that special if you showed them the email or post. But this check-in I didn’t need to show them anything. I tried the Spiced Hot Tea Cider, it was really good. I love beverages with a hint of cinnamon spice to it, especially during the holidays /winter months, it adds to the atmosphere of the holiday /winter season. This Peet’s is on a corner located in a cute area of Concord, across the street from Todos Santos Plaza. It’s a really cute neighborhood. The first time I stopped in to get a hot drink, it was filled with people just chatting away with each other. It reminds me of «the cute corner neighborhood coffee house» seen in movies. :) So far everyone I’ve been helped by, have been nothing but nice! Makes it even more inviting when you’re being welcomed in. I will definitely be back. Maybe the next time I’ll be able to stay awhile! :)

I will sit in traffic and search for that one last parking spot for Peets Coffee. Tonight was no different. I had a long drive home and was hungry. However I didn’t want to stop for food and just needed some strong coffee to get me where I was going. Quick, friendly service from the kid behind the counter with the anti-facist symbol from the Weimar Republic tattooed on his arm hit the spot. The coffee was fresh and strong as expected. The clean bathroom was good too since its not easy these days to find public restrooms. To top it all off, there was a great used book store just up the street where I found two great books at reasonable prices. In the end, Peets Coffee came through and made driving through traffic and searching for that one last parking spot well worth the effort.

I visited this Peet’s on a wintery weeknight, and was treated to 30 minutes of surprising bliss! I popped in for a drink and just to escape and chill for a bit, not knowing if that would actually happen as coffee bars can frequently be lively to the point of obnoxious, especially franchise ones. Sometimes it just feels great to be wrong. This location is spacious yet cozy, and the warm interior is even warmer by the light of the evening, as you come in from the cold. I’m a weirdo who likes iced drinks all year long, and I just wasn’t in the mood for coffee despite the heavenly aroma in the air. Luckily their tea selection was tantalizing, and I ordered up their pomegranate blueberry iced tea infusion, because I’m a sucka for anything blueberry. The employee helping me was a trainee, and though he seemed a little nervous, he was still all smiles and Disney-level friendly. He will make a fabulous full-timer! My bev was ready in less than 2 minutes, and as I grabbed it off the counter, the lady employee prepping orders enthusiastically told me to enjoy the drink and the rest of my night. Can I just take all these marvelously friendly people home with me? There were a few other patrons sitting inside, a young man typing away at his laptop, a mother helping her young daughter with her homework — it was like a perfectly cast scene from a movie. There was no better way to play my role as the solo damsel than to grab a table near the front window, leisurely sip my delicious fruity tea, and stare out at the brightly lit trees in Todos Santos Plaza as holiday tunes played overhead. This is the life. In fairness I am usually a Starbucks girl, but the God of Peets welcomed me with open arms that night, and I look forward to returning to this location and others! Thank you for the bliss, for I will never tire of it. :)

As much as I love me some Peet’s Coffee, today(halloween, this is a delayed review) was definitely an off day for customer service. Thank goodness the coffee made up for their lake of attentiveness even tho they did forget my whipped cream on top!

I like this Peets. There isn’t one close to my home, so when I am near by I try to stop in for something special. They try to remember your name when they see you more than once. I like the vibe in here. People aren’t stuck up or snobby, I can get that feeling when I go to starbucks most times. On my most recent trip to Peets I was double charged for a cup of coffee, no biggie. I informed the employee(who just so happened to be the one who double charged me) and she went right to work, correcting her mistake. She asked me if she could replace the coffee I already paid for and then gave me two coupons for more coffee. She made me feel all special. Through the process I was never mad, nor did I express any attitude. It was such a small mistake. I will always come back to this location.

I love this Peet’s location. Right across the street from the park. Never too busy. Well, it gets busy, but the staff really moves to keep the lines down. All with a friendly smile. Very clean, although on the small side compared to some other locations. Keep in mind Unilocalers that Peet’s is also LOCAL! Unlike the other coffee house located near the park. :)

I had an unpleasant experience four months back, but since I have gone back several times. I am very forgiving :-) and a sucker for good Chai. Kristina @Peets, thanks for trying to correct the issue! Patty, the manager also wonderful!(Changed my rating to 5 stars!)

Great location. Nice to sit outside and enjoy the views. I enjoy the pot of coffee. I can get it half regular decaf. This time I had to tolerate some obnoxious people taking in loud voices. Specially one guy. Guess they are enjoying themselves but disruptive to others that want to work on their computers, read books, or just enjoy the day.

Drinks are better than Starbucks so I usually go to Peet’s instead of Starbucks. Unfortunately, there are more Starbucks than Peet’s so chances are I will find a Starbucks before Peet’s(Though I will drive the extra mile to go to Peet’s). Customer service at this store is hit and miss. Sometimes I get good service while others it seems the worker is having a hard day and wants company in that place. Their WiFi is painfully slow even though there aren’t many people in be store using it. I’m glad that at this location there is free public WiFi(Todos Santos Park), which is much faster and more reliable than what Peet’s provides. Bottom line? If you like Starbucks that’s where you’ll go. If you like Peet’s that’s where you’ll go. If you don’t care then you’ll go to the gas station down the street.

We stopped here for a latte and a chat with a friend on a Saturday morning. For a beautiful weekend day, this place was pretty crowded! Our friend grabbed a table and we got our drinks from the very friendly and pleasant employees. I had a nice little conversation with the woman who made my latte — as an East Coaster, I’m still trying to get used to the pleasantness in California! The bathroom was very nice & clean, which is probably due to the locked door policy(you have to ask for the key). My only gripe is that the tables were all pretty dirty, which probably speaks more to the amount of people there than the actual cleanliness of the shop. But still, there were crumbs & used napkins all over and I didn’t see anyone going around cleaning up. Ew. Nevertheless, this Peet’s is a lovely location. We enjoyed our time here, our coffees were great, & it was great to catch up with a friend!

I was thoroughly impressed with my first visit to a Peets Coffee. It happened to be in the quaint little location of Concord, CA. My order was quite large and the service was phenomenal. I was assisted by a gal named«Patty» — assuming that was accurate on my receipt, of course. I understand they have tons of locations and look forward to returning to one very soon. The coffee was delicious and made just right. Starbucks who?

I sometime feel as though I’m on a quest to find every Peet’s in Northern California. Today, I was traveling from near Martinez down to Dublin, and this Peet’s location showed up. Being downtown in an unfamiliar town, I used navigation to help me, and I ended up finding a parking space very near the building. I also noticed that there was free public parking available not far from there – or so the sign said. It feels as though I keep finding different menu items at each store. I was glad to see White Chocolate Mocha on the menu, as this is one of my favorite combinations of Ghiardelli hot cocoa. A hot coffee on a cool day was appreciated. The people behind the counter were friendly, patient, and efficient. It didn’t take long for my drink, though there was only one other in front of me. What wasn’t good is that the tables really needed to be cleaned.
