This Peet’s latte’s are starting to get very weak. About 50% of the time, my soy latte is super weak, or filled short, not sure if it has something to do with their equipment or the frequent turnover of baristas. Either way, at $ 4.85, I want my beverage to be perfect every time. The store could use a good cleaning and organizing.

I had to make a review. In my own opinion and preference, Peets Coffee really has great Iced Lattes. Their is a certain taste I look for in Iced Lattes, and Peets is one of the places that’s got it.

It was a super wet, windy and cold day. The customer service reps were really nice. There is a $ 1 off any holiday drink when you check in! I ordered the Salted Macchiato, it was really tasty. I was given a free drink on my next visit, b/c one of the customer service reps didn’t mention they had peppermint hot cocoa, which would definitely have been a drink I would order.

my last review of this spot was high. The staff were lovely and manager very pleasant. Today, I am reducing my review to 1 star. For months this location has been going downhill. So I’m not writing this about a one off experience. None of the staff remain — only the manager. Clearly things have gone drastically wrong. It is FILTHY. The restroom was overflowing with trash, no toilet tissue and the cupboard with supplies over flowing with scrunched up paper. Pretty sure I’m not returning

Great store, great coffee(obviously), but the Wi-Fi here SUCKS! It has been problematic for literally months, and whoever is in charge of it doesn’t seem to know how to fix it. As someone who comes here to work, research articles online, etc, this is hugely detrimental to the experience at the store. All the employees ever say is that they’re aware of the problem, or suggest parts of the store to sit in where the signal is better! I mean c’mon guys, you’re a huge chain operation, not some mom n’ pop coffee shop… there is no excuse for this.

I’ve had a similar experience as Martin mentioned in his review — something is off with the Latte. Today was the second time is was off for me. This morning’s was made more like a cappuccino and was mostly foam instead of milk. The coffee did taste like classic Peet’s so I drank it. Perhaps a retraining of staff and collaboration to ensure all staff make it the same — I’m sure there must be a standard for making the Latte’s steam milk. Overall staff are friendly in taking the order(making eye contact) and delivering the completed order. Also a big plus in getting my name right including pronunciation since it is unusual and difficult for some. I will be going back — this is the place closest to home for me and has to be good. Please don’t make me go to another café brand. Sort out the latte’s — it is my standard drink. Ramiro

This place is my second office, love the staff and the atmosphere of this place ! As crowded as this café can get the staff makes sure that all clients are happy to the best of their abilities. Go here on the daily and love it. The internet is pretty slow so I would not recommend this place for web surfing.

Definitely redeemed themselves today. Earlier this week, I went in and it took a longtime to make my drink and it was incorrect. Knowing it was my beverage since it was«no name taken,» I took the beverage. The girl rolled her eyes at me and said it wasn’t mine. My friends drink took a long time and she got a free beverage for next time. Today, I went in during lunch. Ordered, paid, and my drink was ready. The cashier and barista were super nice and friendly. Definitely redeemed themselves on service and speed today.

Worth a stop! This Peet’s is good sized, clean and well staffed. The outdoor patio is really nice, set along side a beautiful landscaped area.

Worst internet ever. If you’re expecting to come here and get online and do some work… don’t bother. I’m assuming the owner is too cheap to invest in an Internet upgrade. After waiting 20 minutes and still not being able to get online, I finally left and went to the Starbucks across the street. I prefer Peet’s coffee, but being able to connect to the Internet is essential. The staff was friendly and the coffee is great, it’s too bad the bad internet is such a problem.

For generic coffee chains like Peet’s and Starbucks, the one positive thing that really ever stands out for me is the customer service. This Peet’s coffee’s drinks taste like all other Peet’s, but the customer service was superb! My order was taken by a girl named Lauren, who seemed genuinely friendly. I’m not sure if it’s because she smiled more or overall sounded happier/energetic, but service like this makes me want to return. :)

We love Peet’s, but their wifi here is consistently bad and unreliable! Hard to do any work during coffee time. And it’s only this specific Peet’s for some reason … they should check their router.

What more can I say… the staff here at The Oak Grove Peets is always upbeat and smiling. Management always makes a point to walk around to say hello and ensure your experience is a great one while visiting. As a regular, this location is a perfect place to catch up on email /work or chat with friends while my daughters are in dance rehearsals. Five Stars for sure and if you haven’t checked out this location, the next time you are in the neighborhood I highly recommend you drop in. If you come during a rush or prime time in the morning or after school It may be busy, but the line moves fast.

I ordered a Large Latte… flat, whole milk. It wasn’t hot, but warm, so I mentioned it and another barista, Sean, remade it for me. Before sipping the 2nd one, he said he hoped it didn’t matter that it had foam.(It did, but I wasn’t gonna complain since he already remade it for me) The Problem? It didn’t taste good. I said that usually it’s more flavorful, but this one was flat. He said he could do it again, no problem. Really? I said: OK, if it’s no problem, then I’ll take you up on that. He remade it, now Flat, Whole Milk, and… it tasted the best of all three(I was being diplomatic, since it really didn’t taste as good as I’ve had at other Peet’s cafes). He didn’t understand, since he just opened up the espresso, the milk was fresh and not expired. Conclusion: He was concerned that I wasn’t satisfied so he gave me a card for a Free Beverage to «Get it Right» the Second Time. Now THAT is Customer Service. A business doesn’t have to be perfect, but respect and appreciate their customers and seek their satisfaction. I told him: I Will Be Back!(I meant it… that’s a no-brainer, with a Professional Attitude like that)…Oh, yeah… Sean is the Supervisor on that shift… Good Modeling of How to Manage in front of his employees. (I would have given 5 Stars, but someone needs to figure out what is off with that Latte… not enough espresso… weak batch… different brand of milk? But I am a fan!)

This place is great. Some Peet’s coffee locations take forever. This is completely dependent on the people. This place employs really great people, and they always get the espresso drinks made fast. Always spotless and clean. Always service with a smile(although it is a bit perturbing when the one guy calls me «sir» despite being maybe four years my junior). I stop here at least four times per week, because Peet’s beans are just better than most others. When I bough some beans, I inquired here as to how fresh the beans are. The people confirmed what I had already researched on the internet — roast dated, no more than a week or two old. I recommend this Peet’s to anyone who wants a delicious, flavorful cup of coffee. If you want sugary«coffee», go to Starbucks. Peet’s has it too, but why cover the flavor of their awesome beans with sugar? Sacrilige!

Love, love, love the outdoor sitting area. Although because it’s so beautiful, all the tables are often taken. Peet’s is Peet’s whichever location you go in terms of quality and service. That is, unless you get a Barista in training. This particular Peet’s has a large indoor seating area as well as a lovely outdoor seating area.

As the Duchess of Oak Grove Plaza(yeah, that’s me!) I should have reviewed every place in here already. I’m working on it… only lived across the street for two years now! lol Oh, Peet’s, how you hide in the corner! Usually if I’m on that side of the Plaza it’s for a beverage at Captain’s Chest next door — but from time to time I stop in here. I’ve saved a receipt in my purse for two months so that I wouldn’t forget a certain name. Marney was working on 9⁄19 and made my day extra special. The friendly service was awesome. A guy in line(an owner of a fitness center in the plaza, I think he said) and I talked about her. Service earned the five stars, though the pumpkin freddo($ 4.30) was terrific too.
