Very good experience at LensCrafters today. My daughter needed glasses ASAP because hers were damaged. They performed an eye exam and had new glasses ready to go out the door within an hour. Did I mention that today is Sunday? I was impressed and would most likely return in the future.

On a day when I came to fix my glasses, I got a little bit of an attitude. All right! Someone is in the bad mood. It happens. They couldn’t fix them so I scheduled an appointment to come back and get a new pair. My appointment was on Monday night at 6:20 pm. I was helping my customer at work so got stuck a little. Was rushing, running through the mall, got there at 6:28. And…these people would not see me because they work till 7, and they want to go home on time. When you wait for them for EVER, its ok, when a customer is 8 minutes late, they wouldn’t bother. They offered me to reschedule. I cancelled an appointment and will not come back. Looks like they don’t need revenues that much. Employees need to be reminded. No customers! No paycheck! Thank you.

I come in to have my lenses replaced because they were scratched very badly. I told this to the lady up front and she pulled up all my info. She asked if I had a new prescription, which I did not because my vision has not changed. She said ok have a seat. 30 minutes later someone finally comes to help me, pulls up all my info again, then asks if I have a new prescription. Since I did not they can’t make me new lenses. Even though nothing has changed. Even though I bought everything from them. I understand they have policies but why make me wait 30 minutes if you already looked this up? Just tell me right away. I’ll be going somewhere else from now on.

Went here because my wife had a coupon(from her birthday) for free lens. Julie helped us and she was great! She was explained the options we had thoroughly, was very professional and to top it off she was patient. For future glasses we will definitely come back and see Julie.

One if the girls was very unprofessional, she made the visit very unpleasant and uncomfortable. The entire time disregarding the main reason of being there. Continued to talk to my boyfriend and made the whole situation awkward.

I was able to get a same day appointment and get my glasses the same day which I appreciated because it was near closing. I recommend this location for great service.

My first time at the LensCrafters in the Sun Valley Mall. They have a great selection of glasses. The staff is helpful and fast. Maybe too fast… it feels a little rushed at time. But overall I am very pleased with the selection of glasses.

Usually come to this location for Eye Exams and to check out glasses. Yesterday I was here and schedule an eye exam for 10:40 today. Come to find out they don’t even open until 11:00. So how can the kid schedule an appointment for 10:40? I have a feeling I’m canceling this appointment cause he has it in the computer wrong and going elsewhere. Looked at glasses yesterday and with the 5 – 6 employees they had in the store, 3 were busy with other customers, the rest doing nothing, and no one asked us if we needed help. I finally had to basically stand in front of some guy for him to acknowledge me. Which was a waste of time anyway cause he couldn’t answer my question about Oakley frames. No problem Oakley has many frames I understand, so he tries to look it up on Oakleys website. Come to find out he didn’t understand the question I asked him at all, and then couldn’t provide an answer. The question was can I get the frame accents in a different color? We ended up at Sunglasses Hut and had the answer in 5 minutes from the same website.

i come here to get my glasses adjusted and am never acknowledged when i walk in. wait time is very long even if there is only one customer. the wait wouldnt be so bad if the employees would manage customers w a greeting and maybe an estimated wait time.

I’m not sure if I would say it’s better than any other LensCrafters, but the people here did a great job of taking care of me getting my classes done and I didn’t need them. Although there was one guy with glasses too I did not appreciate it all. however the ladies there that helped me out where great

I told the optometrist here of my previous issues with my glasses, when I tried to read late night I could not see at all! I would rub my eyes and squint so much to do homework and exams that I’m sure I could use Botox by now! Anyway optometrist told if the same issue persist to come back and she’d dilate my eyes, sure enough it was the same olé issue, so I went back and she dilated my eyes and gave me a true prescription(since I have a astigmatism, I have issues) it was way different but it’s 1am and writing this review because I can finally see! Im just so happy I found an optometrist who figured it out! I don’t even care that I had to go back to get a reevaluation because before I had lost hope.

Be careful of this Lenscrafters, they are crooked. After I selected my glasses and waited hours for it to be done, they switched it out to a tortoise colored glass and said it was my selection! I cannot stand the tortoise pattern. I had a ‘solid’ brown one with an oval shaped, this was square shaped. I found out later the older Caucasian gentleman was training a younger guy and he most likely broke my glasses. But switching it out then saying it was my selection was so wrong! Then the brown haired middle aged woman tried to say I was imagining it and I picked the ugly thing. This Lenscrafter in this location is crooked. I’ve been to several Lenscrafters and they do perfect work. In my entire life this has never happened. Terrible customer service, deceptive and will take your hard earned money. It was over $ 600 for 2 glasses. Bad management, the worse I’ve ever encountered. I now just buy them directly out of the hospital optometry, no problems at all there. I only paid $ 140 out of the hospital.

Writing this on behalf of my boyfriend. He was so stressed about the broken frames on his glasses that he really needs to see. The young lady Libby was so helpful. She was resourceful, quick and efficient. Thanks for a great job Libby!

I love working with Sales Supervisor John. Always on trend, John has helped me pick out 2 pairs of frames in the past 2 years. He is so kind, attentive and honest with out being overly opinionated. I’ve already scheduled my annual 2015 visit!

They carry a lot of frames and I’ve seen several I like. What I haven’t liked is the how they up-sell on the lens. The only lens that would work they told me on my first visit were their special lenses that do scratch easily. Of course they are guaranteed. That sounded like a problem to me. They don’t do this lens on-site. I would have to buy two pairs so I could see clearly during the two week turn around on repairs. LensCrafters employees must be on commission. I went someplace else. Now, I no longer need glasses and want to convert my old frames to sunglasses. I stopped here to see if that was a reasonable option. Of course it wasn’t, by the time they figured out I really did not want prescription glasses they were on the hard sell. To me lenses that were going to be well over $ 200 without frames is really too much to pay. But darn, I like the color they would be.

Had an eye exam and got glasses today! They were very friendly and professional. They have a great selection of glasses, and sunglasses. I have health net and my glasses were only $ 200! And I picked them up in an hour!

I ordered a pair of Maui Jim prescription sunglasses. I love them and LensCrafters. The only problem with the sunglasses is that the lenses are soft as butter. They are easily scratched. I have another pair of Maui’s and they are exactly the same sans the prescription. Every time the lenses get marks on them, really more like a delamination I bring them back in and they replace them. They have replaced them 4 times in the last year alone. This can’t be good business for Maui Jim since they cost $ 650 each. But since LensCrafters has a 24 month warranty they just keep replacing them. Love the lenses and if they didn’t scratch so easily I would give my whole hearted suppport.

I have coverage at Kaiser but the bottom line was I’m about to go on vacation and I really want some new sunglasses before I go. I’m blind as a bat and now because I’m old need progressives to read(because I won’t do bifocals… vanity). I was able to get a cool pair of Ray Bans with my ridiculous prescription and the lenses were half off(which is a good thing because progressive lenses cost and arm and leg). So yeah my lenses took more like two hours to cut since the machine has to cut the lenses really slow as not to break them. But after shopping and buying stuff I didn’t need at the other stores in the mall, I got my cool new frames for $ 400. I know, I know don’t gasp… I can hear you going… what? But the frames were around $ 200(ray bans) and those lenses cost a bundle because of my prescription. I’m okay with it because I’ll have them for awhile, my prescription hasn’t changed in 3 years or so, since the last few eye visits. So if your like me and want them now, it’s a good place to go and the clerk how initially helped me was very nice. And frankly it wouldn’t have been much cheaper at Kaiser, plus they have a great selection of trendy frames. Now I’m rockin’ my «no paparazzi please» sunglasses.
