Jericho Barber Shop

My husband brought my 3 yr old son here for a haircut and saw Roman. He was so patient and friendly with my son and gave a great haircut! We just moved to the area and are glad to have found our new barber shop. The salon was clean and new and even had TVs at every station. We will definitely be back to see Roman for his next cut!

I’m not the type of person to write reviews but I feel compelled to do so. I chose to get mine and my son’s hair cut at this place because of the great reviews I had read on this page but unfortunately that’s not the standard that I received. The man who cut my hair was very old and the first thing I noticed was his shaky hands. The fact that his hands were so shaky left lines across the back of my head and he had to cut further and further to correct the problem, if I had let him continue to try to fix it, I would be as bald as the day I joined the army. Then I asked him to trim my beard to look good for my wife on Valentine’s day and needless to say, I left pretty much without a beard at all. I had a 4″ goatee and asked him to cut it down to half its size and now I’m barely at 1/​8″. I was very disappointed and it goes without saying that I will not be returning.

Great barber shop. Always get a great haircut no matter which barber I go to. They usually have quite a few barbers working at once so the wait is never really that long. All the employees are very friendly and engaging. Really happy I made the switch to this barber shop.

I just got my second haircut from Roman and it is one of the 2 best haircuts I can remember getting ever. The first one was also in the top 2. Extremely reasonable prices too. If you work nearby you can get a cut during lunch hour. That’s what I do.

Ive been conflicted about going to a salon or a barbershop for some time now. previous barbers left me feeling fairly unhappy and snubbed but i was in the area and heard good things about this place so i gave it a shot. Straight to the chase, no bullshit; friendly people in a large sun-​lit shop. Roman trimmed me up nice and was happy to give explanations and advice. Definitely going back.

if I could give this barber shop a 6 out of 5 I would. I was having such a rough day trying to find a place to get my haircut. It was going to be the first time I got it short. I came in to see three barbers waiting for the next customer, and when I asked about a haircut all three came to look at my phone and were really helpful. My barber was Ahri «Sorry if I misspelled that,» and when he looked at the haircut he told me that I can trust him and that he would make me look great. He was extremely friendly and social throughout the whole haircut, and when I saw my hair at the end I was ecstatic. Honestly I’m going to recommend you guys to everyone that I talk to about getting their haircut in the area. Thank you for the awesome job.

I recently started a new job around the area so was looking for a local place to get my haircuts. Found Jericho Barber Shop on Unilocal and overall my experience was pretty pleasant. I arrived around 6:20 one evening and there were quite a few people in line with two barbers working through the wait wasn’t too bad. I would say maybe 15 – 20 minutes wait? It would be nice if there was another guy working but I guess can’t blame them for having fewer people working an hour before closing.
My process was quick and the barber (Boris I believe) gave quite a nice haircut and was very friendly and courteous throughout which made the experience quite enjoyable. Its nice they do a shave as well as part of the haircut. For a $ 13 haircut this was quite nice indeed and definitely better experience than my typical experiences at chain franchises.
On the night before I arrived about 6:45 but the place was already closed which I was a bit miffed. But it could have been due to the snow we had earlier in the week and plus I should have called before showing up to confirm so can’t really place the fault entirely on them.
Anyway if you don’t mind having to wait a bit like I did during weeknights I think its definitely a good choice for haircuts. I most likely will be coming back regularly.

Gave this barber shop a chance cause a friend asked me to support them, stayed because they do the right job. I would recommend giving them a whirl.

I’ve been going to Jericho Barbers right across the street from Pep Boys in Commack since they opened in 2010. I come here almost every week to get a hot towel shave and my beard trimmed. The barbers here specialize in all haircuts including skin fades, fauxhawk, tape-​ups, long hair, no hair. If you want your beard or hair done with perfection come see Boris.

Great shop, clean, good prices. Boris gives the best tight fade around! Go check it out I would definitely recommend this barbershop.

I’ve been a regular at this barbershop since it’s opening in April 2010. The owner, Roman, has been a barber in the Commack area for over 10 years and have been getting haircuts from him ever since! Affordable prices, wait time is reasonable and all the barbers are very friendly! Great cuts for all ages and specializing in a variety of different haircut styles.

The barber Sam gave me a great haircut. He took his time. Had good skills. He asked several times if I was happy with my haircut as it was progressing.
The place is clean and very reasonable prices. I usually get my haircut in NYC so it is half price to me.

Great place, amazing hair cuts, there is not one barber in there that cannot cut your hair, I have been coming here since they opened and I have no once been Disappointed with the service, they will not let you leave your seat until you are totally satisfied with your hair. All nice guys and they all take a good amount of time perfecting your haircut, recently I went to Ilya, who gave me a very good haircut, I was trying something new and he was a very knowledgable stylist and also took a great amount of time making sure it was how I liked it and obviously good. The prices you cannot beat, definitely come here you won’t be disappointed.
