Razor Zone Barber Shop

Being a particular person when it comes to my hair, I was skeptical in finding a new barber when I moved from Massapequa 5 years ago. I gave Dave at Raor Zone a chance and it was love at first sight. I never looked back and it was the best decision I have ever made. I highly reccomend David and his staff at Razor Zone as they are professional and courteous and provide excellent haircuts for there customers. Never get your haircut from this place ever. The old guy with the glasses has no idea what he’s doing. Didn’t straighten out my hairline, didn’t box it out and didn’t give me the right length on top. This place sucks.

Just got a haircut from Boris at Razor Zone. His attention to detail was great and he clearly understood all of the specific things I like when getting my hair cut. I only had to wait for about 5 minutes before my turn came up. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I plan on going back myself.

After hearing about Rockabilly Barbers in East Northport, going there, and finding out they didn’t really take appointments but I could come back in 3 hours and MAYBE get a haircut with Korn «Coming Undone» on in the background, I decided to take a stroll down Larkfield and see what the guys (and gals) at Razor Zone could do.
Well, since that day I’ve never bothered to go back to Rockabilly, so that says something.
What I like best about the guys at Razor Zone is the care, concentration and effort put into each haircut. See, back when I lived in Port Jeff/​Setauket area, I would frequent Men’s Room for my cuts. Those guys did a great job for $ 15, and I was in-​and-​out of there in 10 mins (if I had an appt). At first I thought that was a good thing. But when you go to Razor Zone, your haircut is probably going to take at a minimum 20 minutes and most likely, more like 30 mins.
The barbers here take extra care in shaping lines, fading in beards, sideburns or light stubble, trimming lines around your temples and ears, and top if off with a hot shave on your neck. Your haircut won’t need those extra few days to grow out a bit to look okay, rather, it will look good the second you walk out the door. Plus, it’s only $ 12 for the cut AND you get a card so every 10^th haircut is free.
Another plus, although I typically use the same barber each time, if he’s got a few clients and is backed up, I’ve gotten cuts from each of the others working there, all of the same quality and care.
No need to drop big bucks on the «specialty» barbers across the street, Razor Zone is just what you need.
