DONOTMOVEINHERE: PLEASEREAD I have never encountered such an unprofessional group of people in my entire life. Where do I even begin? When we first moved in(my roommate and I) we were appalled at the state of the apartment. There was trash in the back yard, our bay window was cracked from top to bottom and there was still food in the cabinets from the previous family! I don’t think they even entered the apartment since the last family moved out to check ANYTHING. Maintenance is a joke. We had a section of siding on the roof that was flapping around, banging into my bedroom window. We requested that they come fix it and they simply ripped it off. Yes, there is no longer a noise but now our apartment looks as if a hurricane ripped through and took off the siding. The absolute worst thing about this apartment complex, and the reason why I will do everything I can to detour people from living here, is the dishonest, unprofessional idiots who run the rental office. We moved in late November, and lasted about a month while we had no problems(other than those listed above). However, in January we received an eviction notice, even though we had paid every months rent on time. On December 31st we dropped off a money order from Western Union to the office. We received the eviction notice about a week or two later. When we inquired about it, they said they never received the money order that we had put in their drop box(which, for the record, is a slit in the glass that falls straight to the floor, leaving the envelopes containing people’s money spread all over the front room). Since it had been a considerable amount of time since we had dropped the money order off, we no longer had the receipt or the bottom of the original money order. We went to Kroger and got the receipt of purchase for a money order made out to the amount we owed for rent, and presented it to the office. They stated that it meant nothing other than we bought a money order, and that it still meant we owed them that months rent. Now, me and my roommate both were present when we dropped the money order off. We waited several days to see if they could find it somewhere in the office to no avail. NOW the office changed their story, and told us that they had received the money order envelope, with our names written on it, but there was nothing inside. They also decided to add that the way the money order was opened was not in a fashion that anyone who works there usually opened money orders, so it clearly wasn’t tampered with by someone in the office. We called them out and asked them if they honestly believe we went and purchased a money order, placed it in an envelope, drove down to the office, ripped it open, kept out money order that was made out to them, and dropped off the empty envelope. At this point I was infuriated because they were still threatening to evict us! I contacted the regional manager of Borror properties about this issue, and she said that she would have a discussion with her team and meet with us to discuss the next steps the next morning. We show up the next morning to the office and she’s nowhere to be found. I am writing this review towards the later half of April, and we’re still being harassed about this, even after sending a research request form and going through hell and high water just to appease this office when they are quite clearly at fault, and frankly I believe them to be thieves. Stupid ones, at that, because they couldn’t even cash that money order in, it was made out to the company! My lease is up in November, and if I’m still hearing about this at that time, I’m going to take legal action. Beware potential tenants, this complex is bad news and there are PLENTY of other places in the area well worth your time and money. Stay away from Worthington Meadows!

One star, just because of the location. Maintenance is the worst, I don’t think they know what the word even means. Town homes need major reno, my garbage disposal, and AC took months to get fixed. Oh yea, and the leaking shower that leaks a few quarts a day, that I’m paying for, has not been fixed yet. Don’t rent here!!! Even the grounds are not kept up appropriately, grass up to your knees before they decide to mow. Defiantly not renewing my lease.

The rent is pricey and the townhomes are pretty much falling apart. Wind comes right through all the windows. The doorframes are breaking. Pest problems. Although requested, I never got any light switch plates or vent covers.(Minor issue, but if you’re paying $ 814/month…) Dishwasher leaks. The reason this places succeeds is because of the very convenient location.
