Great first time experience here last night, the beer selection is excellent and the Beets done 7 ways was about as creative and delicious a starter I have seen in recent memory, great job chef and beer honchos! keep it going!

We did a brewery crawl for my friend’s 30th birthday and had a great time during our stop at Wolf’s Ridge! Jenny even came back to the tap room to give our group a tour, what customer service! Everyone enjoyed their beers and I really liked how diverse the options available are, especially for a group of 14. I definitely recommend checking them out and I will be back for sure!

Our waitress came over right away, but we weren’t ready and then it took forever for someone to come back. They did apologize about the wait and compensated us by not charging for drinks Our meals were AMAZING and I am not a person who easily says that. I had the Toad in a Hole and my husband had the Kentucky Fried Chicken Sandwich. The fries that came with the sandwich were garlic aioli and were so good! The coffee was fantastic too! Would definitely eat here again if we lived in the area. I would have given this 4 ½ stars if I could!!!

This was my first time eating at WRB, and I was not disappointed. We entered through the Tap Room, and were immediately greeted by several staff members, who were all friendly and welcoming(with the exception of one young lady who appeared to be in a bad mood. My attempts to smile at her were returned with a fierce scowl. Not sure why, but it was apparent. I guess we all have off moments). Other than this, my first impression of the Tap Room was«Wow! What a cool space». I found myself wishing that we had arrived early for our reservation, so that we could have spent some time there. We made our way from the Tap Room, into the wide, open dinning room. Every staff member we passed acknowledged our presence with a smile, and a nod; they appeared to be happy to be at work. We were comfortably seated by a large window, and greeted efficiently by our server(I am terrible with names, but he was working on 05÷31÷16 at 7pm). He was very professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions about the beer selections to guide me toward a perfect choice(too bad I was the DD). The same for the food… I had the chicken breast with bean purée topped with a delicious sauce made from cilantro, and a corn risotto. My guest had the duck, and we shared a small plate of WONDRFULLY prepared artichoke hearts and asparagus. All of the dishes and sauces had names to identify them, but as I mentioned, names are not my strong suit. All of the FIRST-CLASS food and beer was topped off by popcorn ice-cream that was served with candied corn silk and a candied husk. Wonderful stuff. We ended our night with a brief chat with Chef Chris, who was kind, friendly and outgoing. His passion for food and a good laugh was immediately apparent; a perfect ending to a great meal. I will DEFFINATELY make it back to WRB. Next time it will be for their acclaimed brunch, and I will assign someone else the job of being the DD so that I can have that second brew. Highly recommend.

As I sit here, licking my plate of the leftover butter and garlic juices from the garlic fries, I ask myself… WHEREAREYOU?!? This place is seriously a treat! The environment is super chill, trendy, and hip to my heart! The food is one reason to keep coming back, the staff is another. Cheerful, sweet and genuine, goes perfect with the brew of your choice. Fun location too! Don’t stop doing what you’re doing guys! I love it!

Very nice selection of draft beer. Tried the Driftwood IPA with the Mushroom soup lunch special. Very tasty stuff right there. I also recommend the peanut butter banana dessert. When visit a new place — INDULGE

Came here for a highly-anticipated brunch. Wolf’s Ridge Brewing is located downtown, sort of in the middle of nowhere, so it was a little bit of a surprise when we saw the inside of the restaurant. Situated with an open kitchen, and large communal tables in the middle of the space, the general atmosphere is a mix of different vibes: rustic, modern, and upscale, all in one. I ended up getting a flight of their most popular beers, my favorite being the Howling Moon Imperial IPA. I also tried their bloody mary, which was quite strong and delicious as well. Was very impressed with the quality of the alcoholic beverages in general. As for food, we got the Toad in a hole, and the Kentucky Fried chicken sandwich, adding an egg. The Toad in the hole looked and tasted great, with a mix of different flavors. The Kentucky fried chicken sandwich was excellent as well, although I actually felt like I didn’t need the egg. Since the pretzel roll was soft, the egg yolk made everything a little too soggy. I’d definitely recommend the egg, if the bread was something like a toasted English muffin or something crustier(heh). The huge mound of garlic and herbed fries were excellent, and we were full to bursting by the end of the meal. Our waiter was very friendly and good with menu recommendations, although did forget about our table at times during the meal. To be fair, we were located in the corner of the restaurant, so it was easy to overlook, but as a result, we decided not to get more drinks, because it would have taken too long to get them. Despite the spotty service, we still had a good experience overall. Wolf’s Ridge is definitely a solid place for brunch, and easily one of the nicer places in general for some great food and beer.

I’m not sure if we had an off night/off meal, but was not as good as my other experiences here. Was extremely looking forward to coming here, but left underwhelmed & wishing we had spent our rare night out at another restaurant. Started with Charcuterie. It was tasty, but felt a bit pricy for the very small portions. Literally just 3 gherkins; couldn’t have spared like 2 more? It’s the cheapest thing on the plate. Endive salad. This was the best part of the meal. Hubby went with chicken with corn risotto. Chicken was tender, cooked properly. I almost got the corn risotto as an entrée, but it was much different than what I expected. First the risotto was kinda sticky, so it wasn’t cooked correctly. Good flavor, but not saucy enough for a true risotto. I got the steak. The problem is this appears to be a cheaper cut of meat for a $ 36 meal. The first piece or two was great. The 3rd I was chewing my jaw off. I think our friend got worse pieces bc she could barely cut hers & she actually spit a piece out. Her hubby whose never turned away steak, said no thanks to another bite bc he didn’t want to chew forever. Later I wondered if they cut with grain vs against. They politely took hers off the bill bc she complained. I prob just should’ve sent mine back & ordered the grouper. I’m just meh. If you have a small menu like this place you better cook your pants off. Next time we’ll opt for somewhere else… this WAS my fav restaurant. :(

I love wolfs ridge. I can’t imagine how hard it is to have an amazing brewery but also a great new restaurant in Columbus. I went here for dinner last Sunday for my brothers graduation but I wasn’t 100% impressed. The service was great as well as the cocktails but the dinner options didn’t impress me too much. The $ 17 charcuterie board seemed overpriced for what it was, but the presentation was beautiful! My mom and I both had the corn risotto for dinner because we aren’t big meat eaters and I didn’t think this should be served as an entrée… Especially at $ 24. Especially because only a slightly smaller portion of my same entrée comes with the chicken breast at the same price of $ 24. Also, if you do get meat, Make sure you specify if you don’t want it to come out rare. My brother had to send his back, but I think this is just their style there. Being said… I was in love with the grilled endive salad and the strawberry fields cocktail!

This review is for the Taproom only. I’ve now been here twice while in town for work. The beer is superb and one of the best breweries I’ve been to. They have 20 beers on tap and very reasonable prices on the tasting flights. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and very friendly. The atmosphere is great with large tables and a few TV’s for those of us who are drinking alone and want to sit at the bar to catch the game. I’ve heard nothing but great things about the food in the restaurant too and will be eating there when I’m in town again. I highly recommend a visit when you’re in town as you will not be disappointed!

The best part about WRB is the tap room. They have a restaurant that faces fourth street but if you enter through a side door you find yourself in the«tap room», which is essentially just a bar. Once inside you can choose to sit down at one of the many bier garten style long tables or at the bar. The ambiance is perfect. Not quiet but not loud. Not empty but not full. They also have a selection of games to choose from that you can play at your table. The beer menu is truly something to behold. Wolfs ridge works by using a few of their own beers as bases and then building on each one to create several varieties of one style. For example they have a cream ale called«clear sky». You can order that alone or you can try a clear sky variety. Some variations in the past have been clear sky infused with coconut, cocoa, orange, vanilla, coffee, and key lime(not all together!). I always love going to wolfs ridge because I know I will be able to find a place to sit down and try a new flavor of beer that I know will be delectable.

Okay this was awesome. Impeccable service and pure deliciousness. Originally I was never too excited to go here. Another brewery? Really? I get it, craft beer is a big deal now. So are tacos. I’m getting over both of them. But Wolf’s Ridge is much, much more than just a brewery. The food is top notch. The service, friendly, helpful and on point. We went for brunch so I got the Cuban Eggs Benedict. Mild mustard flavor and served with pickles and a house made hollandaise. Just really delicious with flavors that are super fresh. My friend got the Huevos Rancheros which he really enjoyed and graciously let me try. Wow. That’s my next dish there. Because I will be back.

I can’t believe it took me so long to eat at this fine dining establishment, despite hearing so many great things about their food. I took my friend for brunch, and we both had delicious meals. I got the Cuban eggs Benedict, and she had the burger and fries. The eggs Benedict was tastefully done and was well portioned so you didn’t overstuff yourself and end up feeling terrible. I did end up eating half of my friend’s garlic fries too bc they were so tasty. The whole room was gorgeous too… tall ceilings made for a sun drenched space. Unfortunately I did not care for the Bloody Maria but would definitely go back to Wolf’s Ridge for dinner sometime soon.

The bartenders are very knowledgeable and remember you even with 40 plus people in the bar. The bits are good, service excellent. I will return.

The title of Brewery overshadows a really good food program in operation here. Very high quality ingredients and on top of current trends. The price point is high. The space itself is very cool, huge open air room with some long wooden tables that offer communal dining. The brewery is a part of the dining room towards the open kitchen. I really like how urban the whole scene feels. This is one of my secret weapon locations when I want to impress. Highly recommend.

First time here today and very impressed! We went for brunch which was an excellent decision. This place has a terrific brunch menu. The food was really tasty and well prepared. The best part though is the beer. Their beer is just some of the best in the city. We got two different flights in order to sample. My favorite was the cream ale, highly recommend that one, but they were all very good. We will certainly be back here!

This is officially one of my new favorite places. It’s a bit pricy, so it’s not a place that I’ll probably ever become a regular. But the food is really good! I ordered the pork porterhouse, which was excellent. Everyone else at my table was quite happy with their meals as well, even though some of the portion sizes were a little skimpy for the price. The restaurant itself was very busy, but it didn’t feel hectic. I felt like the staff was working hard but wasn’t frazzled. The thing that really sets Wolf’s Ridge apart from most fancy restaurants is the quality and variety of the beer brewed on the premises. Getting a flight is the way to go, and I liked my first one so much that I got a second. I wish I could remember all the different beers that I tried, but all of them were interesting and enjoyable. I will definitely go back for a special occasion in the near future.

I came here on a Saturday night around 6:30 or 7 — the hostess quoted an hour wait for us, but we didn’t mind much considering wolf’s ridge has a tap room attached to the restaurant, so we headed back to the tap room… passing at least 5 empty tables along the way. That felt kind of odd, but I just assumed people had made reservations. We went and sat in the tap room and ordered some beers, and they texted us saying our table was ready literally 5 minutes later AKA right as we had ordered beer… pretty awkward and felt pretty weird/confusing since the waitress just told us we’d have to wait an hour, but no complaints cuz I was already prettyyy hangry. Our favorites of the night were: howling wolf, the amber ale, and dire wolf. There’s a happy hour everyday from 4−8PM and it’s pretty good, considering it’s $ 2 off beers that are anywhere from $ 5 – 7. I’m not sure if the happy hour special($ 2 off) applied to flights — I think mine was around $ 12 for 5 samples — a tad expensive I think but i might be mistaken about the price. It also would’ve been nice if the POS systems for the tap room and the restaurant were connected — we weren’t able to transfer our tap room tab onto our dinner bill. We ordered the pork porterhouse and the MUSSELS! Ok I know the mussels are listed as a small plate, but maybe in comparison to the gigantic pork dish they did NOT seem that small to me at all… I ordered them as my entrée. I think I’m salivating just thinking about the mussels… Best. Dish. Ever. There were small(but thick) slivers of bacon, lots and lots of garlic, and the mussels came with grilled bread made for dipping in that perfect sauce. Our server was honestly just average all night, but when I finished eating, he offered me MOREBREAD to put in my leftover mussel sauce… he won me over — I can’t say no to extra bread! Especially for that sauce! #Carbs4Ever The pork porterhouse was good too — I thought the pork was cooked well and I liked the mashed potatoes. I think there was a little too much sauerkraut, and I usually like sauerkraut. I think it would’ve been nice to have a vegetable instead. This dish was huge though! Definitely worth the $$. I really want to come back and try brunch/lunch here!

After carefully reading EVERY single menu for restaurant week I decided to give this place a shot! My fiancé and I made reservations. We took an über but noticed there were meters close by so FYI there is parking close. We walked in and soaked up the warm, rustic, environment and were seated immediately. We are seated at a table by the brewing equipment which was awesome. The menu had 3 options each I think? I decided on the smoke scallop dish(very tasty), salmon, and the chocolate torte. All of my dishes were amazing and I washed them down with some hefeweizen which is a personal fav! My fiancé really seemed to enjoy his chicken thigh, duck, and peanut butter dessert as well. This place is really artsy with their presentations. It is literally art on a plate. Very awesome! It came out to a great deal. However if it was not restaurant week I think it could get pricey just because the dishes are on the smaller side. The beer is priced great! We can not wait to come back for brunch one day! Highly recommend!

I’ve tried Wolf’s Ridge in every setting possible: lunch, brunch, dinner, and the tap room for beer alone. In each case, my experience has been nothing but outstanding. Both the food and the beer has consistently exceeded expectations. Begin with the space. It is well designed, with a classy minimalist/rustic feel. Yes, that’s a common look these days, but it’s appropriate and welcoming here. The windows up front let in a good amount of light, and give it a pleasant welcoming feel. The tap room is even better in this regard, and I look forward to visiting in the winter, when I believe the windows will make it feel bright and cosy on a cold afternoon. The food has always been great, regardless of the meal. That is perhaps owing to my rule here of always ordering the duck. Each menu seems to consistently have some duck preparation. The rule started with dinner alone, the duck entrée has always been perfectly prepared, no matter the style. It has held true however for lunch and brunch as well, with the most recent example being a delicious trio of duck tacos. Finally, the beer has always been quite good as well. You can look forward to a variety of different styles. No need to worry about being limited to a couple variations on only IPAs. Make sure to check out the tap room if beer is your main focus, they usually have a wider variety of things than the ones available in the main restaurant.
