What a disaster! One server. Hubby’s salad looked brown like it had been there a week(mine was fine). Gave me the wrong entrée. Gave both of us the wrong sides. Good thing we had a BOGO coupon because it sure is not worth the full prices they have. Too bad I had to give it at least 1 star rating.

Another experience thanks to We have been lucky that most of the hotels have great restaurant and while some were better the Hilton Garden Inn at Polaris did not dissapoint. The décor is elegant, it is clean and well kept and they have nice touches like free mini bottles of lotions and mouthwash in the bathrooms with real towels and my favorite a large platter of freshly baked cookies in the foyer. Who can resist free, warm, gooey cookies just laying there calling your name?!! They were so darn good we stayed a while after dinner just to eat some more, have coffee and read the paper. Why not, it is the Hilton after all? If they got it like that, I’ma take it and say THANK U! Now to dinner. I like to judge its place by its salad dressing, if they bring me a packet of Marzetti dressing they pretty much won’t make it past 2 stars from me. Here they had a very good balsamic house dressing, the rolls unfortunatly tasted like on an airplace, stale but somehow still soggy, yuck! My son had the chicken tender platter which was served with honey blossom sauce(not your usual honey mustard, while we did not like it, it was innovative and different) and a homemade BBQ sauce which was pretty good. I had their friday all you can eat fish special which was real, fresh fish, lightly breaded with loads of garlic and herbs, pretty good and at $ 10 all you can eat a great deal. My husband had the reuben and a pizza, both pretty generic and not worth mentioning or going back for. I would come back just to lounge and eat cookies, but that might be inappropriate, so I would come back for the fish and to get away from the other commercial offerings at Polaris.
