Not a bad places at all. But warning to Browns fans it’s a Steelers bar. So if you go there be ready. Here we go Brownies here we go. If it wasn’t a Steelers bar I would give it a 4 star rating.

Drinks here are a little pricey, but overall its a very good place. Foods pretty good and the bartenders are cool guys. My roommate and I go here a lot and have never not had a good time. The crowd is far from mixed though. I will warn you almost everyone in the bar is 35 and over it seems

Can’t really go wrong here, always clean respectable place and the crowd is a good mix of ages etc. to make everyone feel comfortable. nice pool tables, dance floor, dart boards… drink prices are solid. So for a late night place to get out you could do a lot worse.

I’ve been in this little place a few times now… Every time I come into town I manage to make a stop in here. I’m glad I do too! The bartenders are friendly and drink pours are even better. They serve food and have a dance floor(although I never make it off my bar seat, lol) Did I mention they keno!!! Greatest game ever

I’m giving 2 stars to what I would generally consider a 4 star experience for one main reason, the DJ. This place is generally great, friendly staff, good drinks, great prices, and they remember you when you go in often, but the main downfall is the DJ that appears EVERY Friday and Saturday night. They have a nice dance floor and the crowd is pretty fun, but the DJ has the same playlist EVERYSINGLETIME. Oh, and don’t bother trying to make a request because if you are male he will rudely tell you no and roll his eyes, and if you are female unless you are throwing yourself at him he will either ignore you or rudely tell you he doesn’t take requests… I didn’t know that was a thing for a DJ. I wish I were exaggerating but depending on the time you arrive I can tell you exactly what songs you will hear and fairly accurately predict the order for you(including how many times you will hear the song: Black Widow twice once with the video from Avengers & once with the real video; Marry Me twice; each line dancing song twice). That said, if the DJ would mix it up, the music taste isn’t bad. There is a decent mix of old and new, but they SERIOUSLY need to consider mixing it up. I moved to Gahanna from downtown in August and was going pretty consistently at least once a week, but my boyfriend and I get sick of the exact same playlist over and over and over and over again. I love this place, I just really wish they would do something about the repetition because it’s going to force us to find a new place to frequent.

They advertise«Watch all NFL Games here», however…2 tv’s had the Cleveland game and the other 10 or 12 had Pittsburgh game… that’s it!!! Not very welcoming

Not only did several patrons start fights while I was there, I had to try to talk down even the bartender to keep from joining in the ruckus. Absolutely astounding. Sure, these guys seemed to have known eachother and if you mind your own business you probably won’t have any problems, but I was shocked when I had to calm down their own bartender from joining in the mêlée. Oh, yah. I’ve only been there a few times, but it’s worth noting: Most of the customers are not the type of people you’d want around children, I would identify pretty much the gamut as thug gangster wanna be’s fighting over the far outnumbered unattractive chicks looking for a good time with whatever alpha male wins the night. It was really just awkward.

This place gets weird after midnight. One miller light bottle is $ 3.50. Go to Butters Bar or Hamilton’s Pub down the road because they charge normal prices.

When you first see the Alumni Club Sportsbar & Grill it is a typical sports bar, 8 TVs above the bar, two BIG screen projectors TVs on the dance floor, and 1 more projector TV by the pool table and dart board. But once you sit down you are greeted by a great bartender, whom will shortly become a friend that you will want to come back and see. If dancing is your delight then go up on a Friday or Saturday night.. . Alumni has a great dance floor which is always packed! The DJ is now showing the video with the songs he plays, so it really feels like the band in right there with you. However if just chilling out people watching is your thing, Alumni has great views from any seat in the joint.. . now to help pass the time they have KENO with 4 screens so you can watch your numbers any direction you look! I have been going to Alumni for many of years now, and believe me I will continue to go for many more!

I didn’t order drinks(as I had plenty before arriving), but I will comment on 1) the awesome and inviting dance floor and 2) the request-accepting DJ. I’m from Chicago and was in Gahanna visiting friends. Had a blast and would definitely return!

The Coors Light was cold and the dance floor was inviting — and actually if my memory serves me right this place was incredibly clean! Another on the list of stops on our beer crawl, Alumni Club was your typical sports bar — but again, very clean. The bartenders were friendly and quick to pop the top of my cold beer and even held a great conversation even though the bar was packed. I don’t think I’ll be going out of my way to get here(I don’t live in the area) but if cheap beer and a few TVs is what your heart calls for, Alumni is your soulmate.

If you’re looking for that conveniently located neighborhood bar, you just found it — as long as you live near Morse & Hamilton, of course. Snuggled in between Blockbuster Video and Marshall’s within the friendly confines of Stoneridge Plaza is this atypical, local-yocal watering hole. With a true following of devoted patrons, the Alumni Club is aptly named. It’s a sports bar through-and-through. You won’t have trouble watching your favorite game at the standard O-shaped bar that’s surrounded by tables and chairs. There’s even a dance floor in the back for those of us courageous enough to flaunt our talents after a few high balls. The food is created in perfect harmony with their beverage selections… fried and greasy. What else goes better with beer? I can’t highly recommend the Alumni Club, because it’s not my style. It’s a bit dark and their men’s room needs a good scrubbing and/or remodeling. You can tell a lot about an establishment by their bathrooms. So, the moral of the story is: before you order your food… visit the bathroom.
