Good food. Taco salad was best thing on menu. Flautas good too. Summer Plate ok. But great service and good food overall

Stopped in for breakfast tacos instead of my usual stop at Whataburger. The other reviewers are spot on. Very clean inside, and great fresh food. The chorizo/egg taco was perfect. $ 5 min on credit cards.

We made a pit-stop here for dinner enroute to Houston. The other reviews raved about the corn tortillas and hand crafted food, so we opted to give this place a try. We ordered Tacos al Carbon, Combo Plate, Enchilada Plate. The food overall was good. I wish the rice and salsa had more flavor. The rice was plain and needed overall salt and pepper seasoning. The salsa was missing garlic, onion, cilantro and salt. The refried beans and chicken fajita meat were good. We were impressed by the quick and friendly service! Instead of popping by a fast food place, this was a good and quick tex-mex meal.

Typical small town Mexican restaurant. Mexican workers, and a white family’s pictures on the wall. Good tortillas, bad coffee, and hot sauce that leaves me thinking that the white people on the wall made it instead of the Mexicans that should be.

HOMEMADE flour tortillas and they are big! No complaints here. Chorizo Tacos were filling. Ranchero sauce had just enough spice. Coffee was fresh. — Will be back.

Very good if you like hole in the wall type places. Not the cleanest but the best Mexican restaurants rarely are. Very good food and the service is with a smile.

When you find yourself in or going through Columbus, Texas, this is a pretty good option for Mexican food. Their homemade corn tortillas are good. I had a taco al pastor and a small guacamole and the complimentary chips and salsa. This was enough food for one person for a medium-sized lunch. Everything tasted fresh, although some of it was a little under seasoned. All in all, I’d go back if I was hungry in this small town again.

The Homemade corn tortillas are delicious here! And they are huge! I ordered two tacos and couldn’t finish one of them. We definitely recommend making a stop here! The asada and lengua tacos were awesome and their green tomatillo salsa was really good and spicy. Being from Chicago were used to great Mexican food and have honestly never found any good Mexican food while in Texas. And TexMex food is nowhere near to it. Overall, also great service and it was very reasonably priced. Again, ask for the green salsa if you love good spicy salsa on your tacos!

Solid place to stop on a road trip. The fajita tacos were great. The grilled veggies were great. The homemade flour and corn were amazing. Beans+rice are average. Pastor plate was average. They filter the ice machine and drinking water so it’s a very refreshing taste. Prices reflect the size and home made food.

Huge a la carte tacos! The corn tortillas were tasty; the lengua(beef tongue) was soft and savory, but the pork al pastor was disappointing. The queso was your standard fare, but the complimentary salsa was flavorful. For a hole in the wall Tex-Mex place, this is a decent spot in town.

This was a great find. Perfect rest stop for those drives from Houston to Austin. Homemade tortillas and guacamole. Food was wonderful. Service was prompt. The patrons all looked like they knew good Mexican food.
