Subway

Yeah, I know, it’s Subway but I gotta give some love to the hardworking folks employed there. Always pleasant, the staff could give lessons in customer service to many who work in the food service industry. They keep the line moving and handle the occasional malcontent professionally. Trust me, this is downtown Columbus and lets just say there’s a fair share of «unique» folks who wander in from time to time. I have lunch here about once a week and I have seen remarkable patience with a few heinous customers who deserved nothing more than a swift kick out the door. Beyond that, it’s Subway, a chain restaurant catering to consistency. They’re just that, consistent; the veggies are fresh, but the staff make it great.

I don’t usually like to review chain restaurants, but when I do it’s because they really stand out. I love walking into this Subway restaurant because of how cool the people are to deal with. I am usually popping in just to refill on caffeine since it’s 10 steps from my home office, but even for something so little, I always have an amazing experience with great customer service. Definitely grab a $ 5 footlong over here when you’re downtown. Nice location and nice people.
