My favorite bike shop. I go there when ever I am back in Columbus. Fixies, Brooks Leather, classic parts — it doesn’t get much better.
Friendly and helpful. A bike shop the way they are supposed to be.
All they need to be perfect would be free coffee :-)

Nice «boutique» style store. Their inventory is mostly in the fixie/​cinelli/​brooks/​chrome world, so its not for all tastes. If you like that kind of stuff (I do) this is one of the nicest stores you’ll ever see.

I thought I got a flat so I headed to Revolution after work to get a new tube. My friend told me that these people were very nice and helpful, so when I walked in and told them my problema, I asked if they would teach me how to replace the tire tube so that I could save myself some money in the future by avoiding the 5 dollar service charge.
The guy, oh that guy, was so patient, friendly, nice, and that smile! I should have just asked him to tell me everything about that bike… I certainly wouldn’t mind sticking around for a couple hours…
But really, these people offer wonderful service and I definitely would bring my bike back if future problems arise.
Ending of the story was that there was no detectable large leak in my tube, so after filling up both my tires, I was sent on my way, skipping.

Very friendly, staff helped me get my bike out of my tiny car and they were nice and polite in general. I really appreciated the straight forward service and felt confident that they would give my bike the best service without trying to sell me on unnecessary repairs.

This was my first time repairing a bike and I was nervous since I had no idea what I was doing. The staff was very friendly and came to help me right away. They showed me how to replace the tubes and tires and let me practice. Along the way, I was given a bunch of useful tips about things to watch out for and pay attention to.
At the end, I bought some extra tubes that I asked for, but I never felt like they pressured me to buy anything, which I reAlly appreciated having dealt with pushy salespersons at other stores

Used groupon for a tuneup. Everything was done great, fast, on time, the owner was very polite and actually thanked me both for my business and for bringing in a very expensive triathlon bike for him to work on.

Really great bike shop with super sweet people and reasonable prices! I had a flat and didn’t know how to change the tube, so I brought my bike in and the dude explained to me how to do it as he worked. It only cost $ 5 for the tube and $ 5 for the service fee.
Hopefully I won’t have to come back for another flat in the future cause I should know how to do it myself from now on, but I would definitely come back again if I had any troubles.

Update: This shop is the best. They put my bike back tougher affordably, they have been helpful with adjusting or aligning my bike, and I just got my bike tuned up there. They are friendly, affordable, and flexible — I took my bike in today and they managed to find the time to tune it up the same day. This kind of service, at a local bike shop, at this price? As long as I’m in Columbus, I’ll be going here.

I decided to buy a bike recently to get around town, rather than waste all of my gas driving in a 2-​mile radius. I don’t know anything about bikes but always had a mountain bike growing up and a Cruiser briefly in college. So my boyfriend brings me in to Revolution Cycles, at first just to get fitted so we know what to look for on Craigslist. And before I know it, I walk out having ordered a bike from State Bicycle Company.
At first, whoever was in the shop (the counter is all the way in the back) didn’t acknowledge us at all, so not a great start. But the owner showed up about 5 minutes in and immediately got us started. No question was a stupid question, that was what I was most grateful for. He asked what I was going to use my bike for, recommended a fixed gear/​single-​speed, fitted me for a frame, and called State to find out what frames they had left in my size. Another associate talked lights and locks with me and explained that I would have life-​time free tuneups for buying from them. The $ 150 or so I might have saved buying a used bike was definitely not worth sacrificing the service (and future service) they gave me and the quality of my Ranger bicycle which came in exactly two weeks later like they said it would.
I went in 3 weeks later to get my paint touched up which had chipped when they tried attaching my lock bracket that was too flimsy to support the lock it came with. Thankfully, they also put a new, sturdy bracket on it while I was there too.
Bottom line: These guys are friendly, knowledgable, and awesome.

These guys just moved down the street and are getting set up. They seem like real bike connoisseurs, carrying some of the fanciest and most stylish frames possible.
Unfortunately for me, my bike is a tool and not a fashion statement. However, if I had infinite money, I could probably get them to make me something ridiculously nice and custom.
They carry a lot of really nice fixies and have a huge selection of Brooks saddles. Like I said though, they’re just getting set up so their storefront didn’t look very good when I stopped in. Overall the guys working there were really helpful though, and I would definitely trust them for advice if I wanted to buy a fixed gear or a European steel frame.

We had our bikes worked on, they did a great job. Would recommend to others. People were really nice to work with.

I had my first flat ever during my afternoon commute and happened to be in the neighborhood of Revolution Cycles. I actually wasn’t aware of the shop beforehand but they had me fixed up and on my way in minutes. They were very helpful and didn’t accept any payment for the fix. I’ll definitely be back to shop in the store!
