Great, everyone is always in a good mood. Keep up the good work and thank you for doing such a good job!

To continue my opening comments: Mgr. Tanya was very pleasant as she took my order and then when I drove to the window to meet her.
Without a line behind me, I asked to speak to the manager to tell this person how impressed I was with Tanya when she told me she was the manager.
It’s so nice to get such friendly service at a restaurant, especially at Popeye’s a chicken restaurant.
The food was just as expected: light crispy crust (not drenched with oil when you bit into it), mash and gravy and red beans and rice are always a hit with my family.

A shopping trip to C-​Bus brought us here for lunch since we don’t have one in our hometown. Got in about 11:30 am, not busy at all. Lunch rush did hit as we were leaving tho.
Service was good, no complaints at all. Was greeted and order taken fairly quick. Food was good, I do prefer it over KFC. Lobby and dining area were all clean.

This place would get 5 stars if their help were friendlier. Granted, this place is almost always hopping with a ton of customers both in the store and in the drive through so maybe the employees are a little burned out but they need to improve their customer service and take a bit more pride in how they look. With all that being said the chicken and the sides and the sandwiches are about as good as you’re going to get in any chain, besting even the mighty KFC by a country mile. You have two choices of spiciness, regular or spicy and they sometimes mix them up (not good) so be aware if that’s a dealbreaker to have them package it separate.
One time I went here and ordered a shrimp Po’ boy sandwich. They gave me the chicken Po’ boy instead. It was delicious but I was angered I didn’t get my shrimp Po’ boy. So a few weeks later I went back and told the manager about it and he gave me both a chicken AND a shrimp Po’ Boy for free, so the manager obviously knows good customer service, I’d just like to see him have him train his employees that way.
Seriously though, the employees here aren’t really rude so don’t let that deter you, they just are kinda «hurry up and tell us what you want and then move to the side» type of not-​that-​friendly. And the chicken, omg-​the-​chicken, is delicious and artery clogging just like you like it! As for the sides you can’t miss with a beans & rice and mac & cheese with a couple of biscuits.
I love their food but don’t eat it too often because I know it’s kicking my Lipitor pills butt each time I do! Highly recommended for the occasional binge of delicious chicken though!
Get friendlier employees and this goes to 5 stars!

I find their chicken more flavorful than KFC – theirs actually tastes homemade and their mashed potatoes are way better. In contrast to the other reviews we usually get our orders to go (to take home); we’ve never had the employees treat us rude. Check your mail for inserts and commercials Popeye’s frequently have coupons and special-that’s the best time to get their food. Try their mashed potatoes and fried chicken – they’re the best. I would recommend them if you’re looking for a change up.
