Absolutely terrible. Please try Fish and Chicken Inn down the street on Hudson and Joyce — They are way better and much better customer service. Peppers put a coupon in the Entertainment Book only to say they no longer accept it! Looks like they would have rats and roaches!!! Please look up reviews for Fish and Chicken Inn — you will not be disappointed. I wish I could have gave this place 0 stars.

I wld choose KFC over this place so sorry. Only given 2 cuz they fries were good n because it was hot.

Great prices, great service, great food. Also sells grocery item basics like sugar, milk, and bread. Got food here for our 3 year anniversary, loved it!

With this place in Columbus, I do not understand why anybody would prefer eating Raising Cane’s. This place blows that crappy franchise right out of the water. The building itself is unassuming and you can easily miss it if you’re driving by. Call in your food ahead of time because otherwise you’ll be waiting for ten or fifteen minutes, and there’s not really a waiting area. It’s well worth the trip because the food is actually what you would expect. The breading for the chicken and the fish is nice and peppery, but not too spicy for those of who like your food a bit more mild. I’m not as big a fan of the wings, but that’s because I think most chicken wings never have enough meat to be really filling. Next time I’ll just go with the chicken tenders. The catfish is also very good, and the prices on everything is very fair. Honestly, if I lived closer to this place, I’d probably be in there every other week.

I guess being caucasian and getting a comment like«we don’t get a lot of you guys in here» can give you a general idea of what kind of neighborhood pepper’s is in. Don’t let that stop you from driving east past 71 on Hudson into Linden though. The food here is worth rolling into«the wrong side of the tracks». For $ 10 you can load up on awesome fried food, desserts, and cans of grape soda. comfort food at it’s finest.

I have to say I was very impressed! Before I thought the local chicken joint was Royal Chicken, but this place has the crown now! If you can get past the rough neighborhood you will love the chicken. I am actually on my way back there right now for my fix. The prices aren’t bad either. Chicken 1−5=5. Fries 1−5=5.

After discovering that Hudson Street is the unofficial fried chicken Capitol of the north side, it became my mission to eat at every chicken joint on this street. I’ve eaten at two of the three places that I am aware of. More than likely I will not make it to the third restaurant, because hands down, these are the best wings ever! I read the other Unilocal reviews, saw some questionable ones and totally agreed with other reviews. These are absolutely delicious. They’re crisp, well seasoned, thoroughly cooked and still moist. I’ve been several times and they are consistently good. I’ve only done the drive thru, so I have no clue what the inside looks like. For my small orders it’s taken about 7 minutes. Credit and debit cards are accepted. Once I attempted to call in a large order(over 35 wings/fish) but was told anything over $ 20 cannot be ordered over the phone. The wait was about 25 minutes. There’s a small lot on the side of the building that you can park and wait in. I can’t figure out the seasoning that sets these apart, its definitely a blend of salt and some other spice. Along with the wings are awesome fries. The fish is very good too, nice and crisp, well seasoned. Too be honest I’m not sure if they offer other sides besides fries. I stick with what I like, wings and fries. This is now my first choice for wings, I’m willing to drive a little further for these wings. Definitely worth the drive and wait!

It’s numerous chicken and fish spots on Hudson but this one is the best. I come here 2 – 3 times a week. I heard about this place and decided to try it out and now I’m a regular. I know know the owner and he is one cool guy. So stop hesitating and come try it out.

Um, yes please. It’s sooo hard to find a good fish place in Columbus, but Pepper’s is the best. I’m so sad they closed their second location in Reynoldsburg. That’s okay, I have no problem driving across town to this location because it’s worth it!

Pepper’s opened a while back, but being that it sits in the heart of Linden, it comes as no surprise that it has yet to be entered into Unilocal. But never fear, the Mayor of Linden(self-appointed) is here! I finally checked this little carryout fish and chicken joint for lunch today. I was actually pretty surprised with the many types of fish offered. I’d list them all, but I don’t have the menu handy(I did grab one, of course). They also offer shrimp, which is not a fish, but I guess Pepper’s Fish, Chicken and Shrimp is a bit of a mouthful. You can order a ton of different combos, almost all of which cost $ 9.99, and feature some variety of chicken, fish, and/or shrimp. They also do larger bulk orders in case you are feeding your entire family, and I mean extended family, like last minute family reunion catering. Drinks are offered in can form, and there are a handful of fruit flavors in addition to the traditional favorites. When I say carryout, I mean carryout. There is standing room only. They also have subs and sandwiches, and a few cheaper deals on a specials board. I don’t know if it changes daily or not. I think the name must be pepper’s because of the spice blend they put on the fish. I ordered a 2 piece catfish dinner, and those filets, in addition to being humongous, were downright delicious. The combo comes with two slightly toasted pieces of bread, so I turned one filet into a fish sandwich with the provided tartar sauce, and alternated dipping the other filet into tartar sauce and malt vinegar. I wish I’d noticed the hot sauce they gave me, I would have rathered it than the tartar! The fries were equally well seasoned and I ate every last bit. Lastly, the service was pretty decent. They underquoted me on how long the order would take, which did cost me some extra makeup time at work, but the owner carried on a good conversation with me to pass the time. There is a drive thru window, but I didn’t get to make out whether or not it was functional. All that said, possibly the best things about Pepper’s were that 1) it’s open until 1am and 2) they’re going to start delivering soon. I love these new dining options in my hood!
