It took 10 mins to get our iced tea. The dinner took 40 mins to come to table. The restaurant had dirty floors and entrance way was disgusting. No apology for SLOW service.

I would like to give it 3 ½ stars, but I decided to round up rather than down because I mostly like the place. Went for lunch this afternoon, got seated right away. The waiter was a little«rough around the edges» and made a couple minor mistakes on our order. The rolls were fresh, hot and wonderful. Starter was fried green tomatoes. Awesome! Had catfish with cole slaw and grilled asparagus. The asparagus was perfect and no complaints about the rest. My wife had an open faced sandwich. She thought it was very good. Apple pie was good too.

We went to the O’charley’s on Morse Rd and had to wait so long we left and came to the Cleveland Ave, got right in, seated and orders drinks within 2 minutes. Very fast and friendly. Good arrived quickly and it tasted great!

I ordered a Ribeye cooked medium and it came done, lol. It was way to salty and there was no way it 14oz. O’Charley’s isn’t that great to begin with, it’s kind like Unilocaling McDonalds…

Having not been in an O’Charley’s in some time I did not have too many expectations when I was invited to lunch on a Thursday(darn, we missed free pie by a day). While the interior has not been revamped in the span of time, it still seems to work for this type of casual chain. Our server was friendly and more than capable of covering her tables. The menu offers a fair variety of options without causing you to whip out the cliché, «Jack of all trades, master of nothing.» In the mood for pasta, I ordered the shrimp scampi with breadcrumb topping. Thankful that it did not arrive floating in a dish of butter, I could overlook the sadly over done pasta and enjoyed the meal well enough. My grandmother, who ordered a seriously sized French dip sandwich, seemed to enjoy her meal as well though she did not comment on anything being particularly memorable. Speaking of memories, the rolls are just not what they used to be. So if you and yours seek a casual chain, and wish to avoid Applebee’s, then O’Charley’s is rather solid.

My husband and I have eaten out on Friday night since we were dating. A very long time. After all these years it is getting hard to think of another place to go or decide what flavors we want to taste. When indecision is winning o’Charlies is our go to place. The menu is diversified and though we havent tried everything what we like what we have tried. Nicole says if you come in and mention my name she won’t throw you out. Gonna try the Sunday brunch real soon. Nicole promises it is worth it.

Waiter seemed like a nice guy at first. I ordered a steak and a loaded bake potato, and for my other side, I ordered a salad. I asked him if I could have my salad first before my steak, he said«absolutely». Of course, my steak and potato showed up without my salad. Later the waiter brought the salad by and said, «can I wrap this up for you?». Half way through my incredibly tough steak he started telling me about FREE pie night. He finally came back after I was finished… I ordered a piece of pie(which they were out of) and he asked, is this for here or to go. I said«for here»… he came back with a to go box and a piece of pie. When I asked for a fork, he seemed put out. Lastly, when he brought my check, he said«I hope the pie makes up for the problem with the salad». Whut? Will not go back here… 1 star for the service /1 star for the food quality.

Disappointing! I’ve only been to O’Charley’s a handful of times, but this last time… Ouch! Previous visits have been average; it’s a chain and it feels like a chain. This particular O’Charley’s must not be one of their stronger links. Rolls: Included with the meal and all you can eat. They are usually hot and pillowy. Tonight’s batch tasted as if they were allowed to go cold and then reheated; hot but with that rubbery bread-in-a-microwave texture. Not the best start. Crispy Pickle Chips $ 5.99: Cornmeal battered dill chips and old bay mayo for dipping. The battered chips are usually hot and terrific and tonight was no exception. I don’t bother with the old bay mayo as it is too heavy and too bland to compliment the pickles. My dining partner had the Chicken Apple Spinach Salad, without the chicken, as her entrée. $ 9.99 and I am unsure if removing the chicken altered the price. It looked good and she enjoyed it. Louisiana Sirloin $ 15.99: I was in the mood for a big steak and what better place than a steakhouse, right? What a terrible learning lesson for me! I eat steak from raw to well-done, so I order it medium making it impossible to get wrong. HA! The outside of my 12 ounce steak was burned, not well-done, burned. It wasn’t cajun-spiced/blackened, this was not a crust, this was a burned piece of meat, black and charred. The interior of the steak was medium to medium-well, but the exterior was carbonized down to crumbly, burnt, and bitter. Cajun seasonings? I didn’t see or taste any seasonings at all, just bitter black meat. Cajun butter? I saw it, but it was placed atop the scorched wasteland of ruined steak and made no difference. If my partner had ordered a real meal, I would have sent my steak back. If I were with my buddies or alone, I would have thrown my steak into the face of the guy who ruined it or the server who brought burned trash to my table. But my lady only ordered a salad, it arrived with the appetizers even though we asked it be served with my entrée, and she was halfway finished with it when my steak arrived. I’m not one to ruin my partner’s evening or prolong a bad experience, so I choked down what I could, smiled as if everything were fine, and got the heck out of the restaurant as fast as I could. I fed the rest of my steak to my dog later and she thought it was overdone as well. The heartburn from my cremated steak stayed with me for many hours. Not the worst experience, but, if a steakhouse can’t cook a simple steak, I see no reason to return… So I won’t.

We just went to O’Charley’s for the first time, enticed by their prime rib special for $ 12.99. I thought if it’s awful, then at least it won’t have been expensive. But guess what — it was excellent! For that price you get ½# of prime rib cooked to perfection, a side dish, shared appetizer & hot rolls. Our son’s fish, soup & salad were also very good. The cheese grits were yummy but were actually too rich & buttery. The service was good, the food was served quickly and it was tasty. Can’t complain. It was a much better meal than many others I’ve paid a lot more for.

NO! JUSTNO! Please avoid this O’Charleys and use the extra gas and go to the one on Morse and hamilton road. First, there were wads of gum underneath the table where I sat and gum got stuck to my jeans and management didn’t seem to think it was an issue. Granted she took my information down but she didn’t seem apologetic. Next, I ordered the Cedar planked Salmon and it was bland please visit the O’Charleys I mentioned above because they really know how to make their food appetizing. Lastly, i ordered an Ice cream brownie and there was a long piece of blond hair in my food talk about unappetizing SMHNEVERAGAIN!

First off, the location on the Unilocal map is not where this is in the real world– it is just south of 270, by the Home Depot, not just south of 161. I’ve been to other locations, and hey, it’s a chain casual restaurant. Good for what it is. This time, Sweetie and I went on a Saturday afternoon because it was handy when we were hungry. And she loves the rolls. I had to admit, they were good, and all you can eat, so… She got a steak, with cheddar bacon mashed potatoes and sauteed mushrooms(just ask, and they were good.) The steak came out pretty undercooked, and they were gracious about redoing it– and got it perfect the second time. I had the steak and chicken tender combo, with a Caesar salad and potato soup(hey, why not try all the stuff they’re famous for? Rolls, potato soup, chicken tenders.) The steak and chicken were great. The soup-meh. I’ve had much, much better. The salad was just okay. Overall, a pretty good meal. Service was excellent. The atmosphere was, well, unobtrusive. A solid, unsurprising place.

This was the first time I’ve been to an O’Charley’s, so I didn’t have any expectations. The food(especially the rolls and potato soup) were really good. I got a bacon quesadilla with soup at lunch for $ 6.50. The service was excellent until the very end, then he sort of slowed down a bit. The restaurant isn’t huge. This seems like a good place for happy hour with your office mates.

I needed a fairly quick dinner, close to home, not terribly expensive, and I wanted a decent salad. O’Charley’s did a nice job fitting the bill. This was my 3rd visit to this O’Charley’s, and the best of the three. We sat in the booths alongside the bar, which is a slightly cozier and certainly more grown-up than the main seating barn. The server was polite, professional, and actually much better than you find at most similar chains. After flipping through a rather sticky drink menu, I started with their 5-citrus margarita, which was very tasty. Lots of juice in it. I’m not sure whether there was actually any tequila, but I didn’t mind. I had most of a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and some of a calypso spinach salad. The calypso was nice. Apples, pecans, cranberries, blue cheese and lots of fresh spinach. The honey-apple-cider dressing was pretty sweet. It actually tasted better bare. The Caesar was exactly what I needed for dinner. Lots of crisp romaine and a some nice grilled chicken. The dressing was a little heavy, but I managed. Overall, O’Charley’s exceeded my expectations. Was it a jaw-dropping culinary experience? No. Did it hit the spot, while going easy on my wallet and my nerves? Yes.

I’m glad I went back a 2nd time. The first time was the week they opened and we had two very dry chicken dishes. We have come back again for the steaks and find them to be very good. Plenty of parking, but with it proximity to the interstate and nearby hotels, there can be a wait at primetime.

I came here for dinner tonight, mainly because the place I really wanted to go didn’t start serving until 5:00 and I was hungry. LOL I had the chicken tenders with buffalo sauce. They were cooked well and there were a lot of them. But the plate was bare except for the chicken; not even a piece of celery. Very strange, I thought. I also got a salad which was«okay.» And rolls, of course. They weren’t near as good as they’re cracked up to be. Anyway it was okay, but overpriced for the food they gave you. I won’t be coming back, even though it’s pretty close to me.

This was my first visit to O’Charley’s Restaurant. The first thing I noticed is there were a lot of senior citizens. Our waitress wasn’t the greatest and I consider myself pretty easy to please. She forgot our straws, my sister’s dessert and didn’t come back to ask about refills until we were done eating. Not great. Still, the food was good and there was more than enough to take home for later. Prices seemed about right for what you get.

Another of my favorites for great dinner rolls. Always fresh out of the oven! I could eat those alone. My favorite dish is the Southern Fried Chicken Salad. Yes it’s a salad but not as healthy but tasty as can be! Can’t quite find one I like better, though w/romaine lettuce would be even better. Salads come in hugh bowls with mushroom, tomatoes, cheese, fried chicken and great honey mustard sauce! Delish! Service wasn’t bad & plenty of parking.
