Outstanding! Out of the way place that is absolutely off the radar. If you want to get me in a church food is a good way!
Think Sunday dinner where everything is homemade. The menu is different every day apparently but our choices were BBQ Chicken, Fried Pork Chops, Wings or Fish. The fish came when we were on the way out so I’ll be back for that.
I got the pork, collard greens and mac and cheese. SO good.
People were nice and the atmosphere was what you might find for a fish fry at a church. In fact they have fish fries.
If you want something a little different, delicious and cheap this is for you. Home cooking at it’s best!

All I can say is yummmm! Had the bbq chicken, Mac n cheese and mixed vegetables. Girlfriend had the Salisbury steak, yams and collard greens. Food was great and the price is right. Very friendly employees. You can’t miss here.

A little bit of atmosphere… iron fence around a church, when you pull into the parking lot there is a side door you enter. When you enter the church you see a number of signs saying «CASH ONLY». In the room there are some stained glass windows, doors with glass crosses, plainly decorated tables, and one very decorated table (I heard someone went missing and the table is set for when he returns). There are 2 TVs that played two different shows (competing noise), and there is a constant flow of customers.
The food changes each day, but it seems to be «southern» cooking — fried chicken, ribs, greens, mac and cheese, yams, green beans, etc. You have your choice of meat, two sides, and a choice of bread (wheat, white, corn bread) — all for about $ 8. For most people, it’s enough for 2 meals. There are some wonderful women serving (cafeteria style) the food and are very nice and helpful.
Although it’s pretty far from my house, if I lived in the neighborhood then I would definitely visit again.

Entrance is at side of the church right off the parking lot. If you like southern cooking you will love this place. Chicken wings, pork chops, meat loaf, greens, cornbread, mashed potatoes and gravy, and some of the best homemade desserts you could ask for under $ 10. Cafeteria-​style Dine in or carry out. My mother and I eat there about twice a week and we love it. Open 7days a week for lunch and dinner, 11:30am-7:00. Call ahead to check what’s on the menu for that day, but I never call and am always pleased. I think you will be too.
