Good coffee & cappuccino right off of I-​10 in Columbus

Just driving by I-​10 from Houston to El Paso and looked for this place on Unilocal. Outstandingly yummy! Had the breakfast loaded panini and cappuccino. It was excellent and orgasmic for my palette! My sister had the turkey avocado panini and coffee bread… All breads and chocolate coffee beans are delicious! I wanted to take everything! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Batista was so sweet. We showed up at closing time and she accommodated our group with class and patience. Energy bites were delicious as were the drinks

My husband and I just went through the drive thru here at this quaint coffee shop. This review was based on his cappuccino with an extra shot of espresso. He states that it is the best he has had. I don’t drink coffee but I found myself sipping on his cappuccino. The girl at the window was very helpful and amiable. Give this place a try.

After standing at the counter for 5 minutes they finally served me a cold cup of coffee that tasted pretty good.

I arrived at your business this morning at 615 am. The place didn’t open till 630. The employee came and said she was ready if I wanted to come on in. WOW!!! Talk about customer service. I placed my order. Great iced latte and the peach pecan coffee cake out of this world! This place and the staff here are awesome. I will make a point to stop here each time I’m in this area. Also the worship music was on point. What a way to start my morning… Thanks for having such an amazing coffee shop!

Awesome little coffee shop WITH a drive-​thru! I just got a small iced coffee with cream and sugar and it was perfect. The service was friendly and prompt. Seems like a great place to stop and refuel between Austin/​San Antonio/​Houston since it’s just off the interstate, but there were also a few regulars inside.

Told myself I was going to stop giving bad reviews, but the ratings on this place were misleading. I never would have come here and wasted my time. The two girls running the place had terrible attitudes and didn’t know how to work together. They argued with each other the whole time and took 30 min to make a salad and a wrap. We were two of only three customers in that time and I understand why no one else came in. They acted annoyed that we bothered them. I am just a traveler passing through, and wanted to give my business to mom and pop, but I would recommend Starbucks instead. That said, the food was fresh and the coffee was slightly below Starbucks standard, which is to say, it was good enough.

On the road for a long haul and looking for a decent cup of coffee. Found it! Excellent coffee… enjoyed it every bit as much as a Starbucks and perhaps more since everything was about half the price of Starbux.
Also tried the scones… all three flavors I tried were great. They looked great and tasted wonderful.

We stopped here every morning on our way to Round Top, TX for antiques week. Friendly and accommodating staff. They even have almond milk and Gluten-​free options! So much better than hotel coffee! I highly recommend stopping in.

I stop here on my way from Austin/​San Marcos to Houston and love it! I’ve gotten the salted caramel latte, mocha, peppermint mocha, caprese sandwich, and the spinach and cream cheese quiche. Everything was very on point. So happy I can have tasty food like this as a vegetarian in a small Texas town. Really brightens up my drive! and the service has always been friendly and accommodating. Thank you Latte!

Very nice, local café that we found en route on our drive from Houston to Austin. The Unilocal discount gave us an excellent incentive to check this place out. The homemade pastries were fresh and delicious. My friend had a delicious toasted panini, which she claimed was the best in Texas. The lovely waitstaff offered us a yummy, homemade chocolate chip cookie. I’m so glad that we discovered this fantastic hideout, in part thanks to Unilocal

This is a great little coffee shop. They have soup (fresh made each day, come early or it sells out) sandwiches, wraps and salads. They also have great coffee, latte, teas with different flavors, fruit smoothies, and sweets like scones, cupcakes, muffins, etc. etc. My favorites are the chicken avocado salad, turkey-​avocado sandwich — and all of their soups I’ve tried have been great. (one tip — the chicken salad is bland though LOL).
I’ve taken advantage of their free wifi a few times too. I recommend this place highly. In a small town, this place is definitely a much better, healthier alternative than other fast food joints.

One of the best places to eat in Columbus. If you’re driving through, stop here instead of the Whataburger or other fast food restaurants.

My husband and I were doing what it appears most every other reviewer of Latte on the Square was doing — driving through Columbus from one place to another. I was in need of coffee! Fortunately my husband found Latte on the Square on Unilocal and we popped right in midday on a Monday.
It’s a small coffee shop but at the time of my visit there were three other patrons already seated and there was still plenty of room for us to sit if we weren’t itching to get back on the road. I ordered a large iced mocha and after paying $ 4.75 the barista got to work and I started perusing. I instantly regretted placing my order so quickly. There were yummy muffins and scones and ice cream and sandwiches and all kinds of deliciousness I could have ordered, but I didn’t want to place a second order so I took my drink and we left. But mark my words, I will be back for those treats.
I’m glad I let the iced mocha sit for a while to let the chocolate meld with the coffee as it tasted much better once it was all mixed together. Pretty tasty and a large portion, even though I cringed at the $ 4.75 price tag (coffee is an expensive habit).
If you’re looking for this place, it’s on the left in the shopping center just past the Whataburger. We went down one building too far and into the medical center, but made a U-​turn and came back one building. Definitely stop in on your way by — it’s a nice place to grab a snack or a drink and stretch your legs.

Stopped in on way from Houston to San Antonio. Cute little shop, great service and excellent latte! We will definitely make it a point to stop here again. Better than Starbucks!

I’m originally from Columbus and now live in Chicago. I’m in town visiting family and my mom told me to check this place out. I’ve been back for coffee or food every day since.
I’ve enjoyed the turkey, bacon, and avocado panini for lunch as well as the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich for breakfast. Both were delicious and done just right.
Also, their lattes are good and I was happy to find out that they have soy as an option.
Please support this local coffee shop so we can enjoy it for years to come! :D
