Horrible service. Had brunch there;my wife’s meal came out 13 minutes before mine and they got my order wrong. When asked if they forgot my meal the waitress shrugged her shoulders and said, with a tone of indignation«we’re just waiting on the bacon.» We have been there for dinner and drinks in the past and the service and quality of food has gone downhill. I also wonder why the owner has a CCW but doesn’t do much much to keep it concealed or why he drinks when carrying. That’s just asking for trouble. We won’t be going back ever!!! Stay away from this place.

This place is always hit or miss. The menu has changed several times and just when you like something they no longer serve it. Went there today and was very disappointed. The waitress brought out my food and I usually wait for my husband to get his food to eat. Well it was taking forever so he told me to eat. When we asked the waitress where his food was, she seemed surprised that we were asking. Finally, after I had my food for nearly 20 minutes his came out. It also came out with onions even though we said no onions. So I thought I’d give this five lace another try since a friend wanted to go there for brunch. Just as horribly bad! They ran out of Bloody Mary mix by 1:30 and mimosas. They brought our plates our scattered in times. Some getting half their order and then us having to ask for the rest when they were almost done. They also forgot to bring out a side a bacon. The biscuits were only touched with gravy and the gravy was thick and clumpy. The eggs Benedict were boiled :/and the over easy eggs ordered were over hard. Horrible, horrible place!

Sorry… Won’t be back. Only 14 customers in the entire restaurant for Saturday brunch, but was incredibly slow. Service was dreadful. Food was way overpriced for the quality. The food took forever to arrive. We took turns watching each other eat bc the food didn’t arrive at one time. The blame was placed on the cook, but I don’t see how it’s the cook’s fault that the waitress didn’t ask a party member how he wanted his MainMenu entrée cooked until after the first part of his meal had already arrived. The cook also isn’t responsible for making sure drinks don’t sit empty for more than 10 minutes at the time. May have been a bad time, but for the price, don’t take the risk.

I’m at L V now. 12:00 on a Sunday for brunch. They are out of coffee(only decaf is available), and they can’t serve mimosas until 12:30(GA law). I understand not serving mimosas but please put it on the menu. The lack of coffee is unacceptable. Currently they are out of sausage so I had no choice but get a double order of bacon with my brunch. There are only 3 tables with customers. Obviously not busy. So. I’m torn. The food is EXCELLENT. The pancakes are huge and some of the best I’ve had. The service great but a few key brunch items would’ve made it a solid 5 on the scoreboard. I will be back next week with an update. Get the details together guys and a great brunch place is born!!!

Good place for drinks, food and live music!!! Good place to bring big groups, and is pet friendly for the patio area! Not just a bar is a family restaurant with a great area outside for the kids to play with cornholes.

The place, the entertainment, and the staff were great. As for service. not so much. 4 of us ordered dinner. after 30 minutes, 2 steaks came. after another 45 minutes, our 2 salads came, after another ½ hour the meatloaf showed up. after another 15 minutes, my wife’s BLT arrived. Only a few I’ll check on it, etc. You apparently don’t go for the service on a busy night.

Save yourself! Save your money! DONTDOIT! Eat here last night, very few people in here on a Saturday night at 7:45. We sat at the bar, asked the bartender if they had a specialty drink menu and he pointed to himself and said he is it, what do you want? My husband order a rum drink, that he said was his speciality. It was some green rum concoction. It was undrinkable. It was awful. My husband drank about a quarter of it and couldn’t do it anymore. I had a strawberry daiquiri, which wasn’t bad but wasn’t great. We ordered dinner. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger. You could tell they put the frozen patty right on the grill. The outside was charred and the inside was almost raw. The bun was stale. I ordered the Mahi Caesar salad. The Mahi was also grilled straight from the freezer. It had a freezer burn taste to it. Absolutely terrible. We both were sick within 20 minutes of getting home. The worst dining experience we’ve had in the Columbus area in probably the last 3 years.

Judging by the exterior & interior, LV seems like it would be a high-end classy place. Taste the food and you realize it’s just a casual bar & grill with a high-end price tag. The service is not bad. It probably has something to do with being empty at noon on a Saturday. There were no other customers to occupy their time. Here’s why: The food was pretty good; appetizers and entrees. I expected the wings to be bigger for the price, and the flavor was bland until dipped in the store-bought ranch dressing. The fries were mediocre, not a natural potato texture or consistency. The sandwich was average, also lacked flavor. Vegetables tasted like they were reheated from the freezer, with too much salt dumped on. I think it would be better if they made their food from scratch instead of buying it from a store & microwaving it. The preservatives really take-away from the taste.

I went on a Wednesday — we were wondering what the wine down Wednesday special was– it is just $ 1 off a glass of wine :/I got the honey BBQs wings and buffalo chicken dip my bill came to $ 31 this place is overpriced! I should have sent the dip back it was not good at all — the wings looked like they were frozen then fried :/I really expected better I will not be coming back here to eat there are so many better places to eat.

I gave this place three stars more for the service and atmosphere. The food was good and there is a nice area to sit outside and even play cornhole. I’ve been here twice now and it was solid both times. The only down fall is that it can get pretty loud and the beer selection is different– they keep it local and crafty– but it’s not as large or varied as other places. Update −(10÷14) the crowd at this place seems to have changed. It’s super loud and packed with people who seem to be sitting around for the long run– would NOT recommend if you want to relax and actually enjoy your beer and dinner.

I ordered chicken tenders during the lunch hour and when I received my meal I only got two chicken tenders for 6.99 what a rip off. Please don’t order tenders the portion size looks like a child’s plate.

I was here yesterday. Great service and a great whiskey selection. One of the few upscale places I know of in north Columbus. Also, unlike downtown, the nighthawk Nazi group is not stopping every car leaving:) The Loft is still my favorite. But the location here is great for me.

My book club met here today, and we had a positive experience. Our waitress-server was pleasant and attentive. Our food was good: among us, we had the fried green beans, gyro, the BLT and the greek salad, and everyone said their food was good, and that they would want to come back, so, score one for L V Bar & Grill. Glad to see a decent restaurant in the area. I just wish the menu was a little more extensive; it is rather scant.

It was me my husband and 2 year old son who went and we got The steak quesadilla which was so super good the steak reminded me of Mexican steak I would eat back home I’m Cali. We got a gyro and that was also superb, but my main dish was the catfish and that was just not delicious. For a drink I got the vanilla bean lemon drop martini which was quite different but good. Overall we enjoyed our meal it was a little over priced but oh well. Not too many people were there when we got there(530 on a Friday)

I am a single female and was able to watch the super bowl here with out any harassment. The staff is great and I found this place to be very inviting and the food very delicious. I really enjoy the hummus here and order it every time. I participated in my very first wine tasting held here and I was the only individual there alone. The staff made me feel very comfortable and took care of me. I appreciated that the wine was described and paired with food made there, that was superb! I love LV and recommend everyone visit, more than once.

Food is mediocre and overpriced. Waitresses sit around and ignore you or give poor service. Sit at the bar if you want to be served in a timely matter.

This place, I guess, is fairly new and so was I in Columbus. A colleague of mine took me for dinner there couple of weeks ago. The atmosphere was cozy and there is place for a band on one side which I thought was a nice touch. We ate at the bar and both had the 8 oz sirloin. Mine was served medium-rare instead of medium-well but I have no complaints since the bartender and the manager was very apologetic and quickly corrected the error. The next night we went there again. This time we tried the buffalo dip which was good. This time we tried something else. The crispy fried catfish fillets were just«awesome». We both loved it. I usually go for the«blackened» version of the fish but after tasting their crispy fried version, I was totally sold. It was cooked to perfection. It did not get charred and maintained the tenderness inside. So, when I finally moved my family over to Columbus, our first official night out, night after superbowl, was at L V’s and as I had expected, my wife loved the crispy fried fish. My steak was was juicy and medium-well. That night a jazz ensemble was performing. Although it seemed a bit loud but the performance was superlative. I love this restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Columbus.
