After driving past this establishment for a long time I decided to go with my family for dinner. My wife and kids had enjoyed it over the weekend. I am no foodie, but I appreciate decent to good food. A measure of any deli should be their Reuben, right? I ordered the classic Reuben and chili. To be frank, I was very disappointed in both. The sandwich quickly got soggy and the chilli was very salty and had too finely ground meat. For this type of deli, I was surprised by the completely bland and boring chips they served. My wife’s Frech onion soup was so salty we had to return it. They subbed their chicken pot pie soup, which she enjoyed. To make the meal complete, I got sick about 25 minutes post meal. After my body rid itself of this meal, and only then did I feel much better. I wanted to really enjoy Jason’s Deli. But alas, I did not. I will not return… unless my wife and children want to go for the free ice cream… which I will avoid, too. I will return to driving by and looking for better deli options.

Not sure what I was expecting. I had a strong craving for a Ruben this weekend and oh-so-conveniently happened to be driving by. Wasn’t impressed, actually disappointed, big stack of meat(tasted like corned beef – ?. Why?) with Swiss, thin layer of 1000 island, and the whole thing cost $ 10. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean(even the bathrooms), and I appreciate their effort to offer good choices, I.e. Kids meal has breaded chicken breast«nuggets», but sadly, they just weren’t good. It was my first time at a Jason’s & based of what I’ve seen not my cup of tea. The location, atmosphere, and service was great. The food just misses the mark.

I come here at least once or twice a month and have always found it to be consistent. Nice variety of soups and sandwiches. While I have never had it, the salad bar looks to be very nice. Soft serve ice cream machine always provides something to look forward to at the end of the meal. Only downside is it is a little pricey for the type of food served.

Pretty pricy. I feel like every time I come to get a salad I’m disappointed. I’m spending $ 9 on a salad that is mostly lettuce. I thought if I tried the salad bar it would be better, but I was also disappointed with that. Not very many options and yet again I spent $ 12 on a salad that was just okay. I gave them three stars because some of their soups are pretty good & a few sandwiches. I’m also thankful they have gluten free options. I just wish they would put more toppings on their salads if they’re going to charge $ 10 for one.

I really like the quality and taste of the food. What is especially nice is they have muffaletta which I love as an olive addict. I haven’t seen this on a menu since being in Louisiana. It’s not as good as some of those local spots in LA, but it’s good regardless. Sizes are enormous. I’ve tried a few other sandwiches and thought they were all delicious. I think there is only one deli that has a better pastrami, but I’m not going downtown for pastrami. Oh and loved the chips. Will definitely be back.

I love Jason’s! You can taste the difference from other places, which is why the prices are a little higher than most(not a lot by any means, but still higher). That’s largely due to the use of organic produce too, which I like. I wish there were a few more vegan options, although their vegetarian options aren’t bad. I’m pretty sure I have an addiction problem with the organic veggie soup. It’s so good every time! All in all, very good. Service is always fairly quick and friendly as well. Good place to have nearby.

I couple of years ago, I tried two vegetarian options at a different location in Cbus and was not impressed. I wrote it off as one of those places that is only loved by carnivores. Then recently Jen T.(shout out!) posted a pic of their Wild Salmon-wich, and I had to have it. I called in the carryout order, because I was out and not able to use their online ordering option. On my way back to work from an appointment, I stopped in to pick up my order. There are 3 carryout order parking spots, a lone door for delivery drivers, one for carryout pickups, and another for dine-in folks. Inside there are also 3 separate registers to accommodate how you ordered or are ordering. I was in and out pretty quickly. For $ 8.49 I got the sandwich and a side of steamed veggies(you have a few options for your side). Both were pretty darn good. There was a pic of a caprese panini at the register that looked really good and worth a try. Some of the soups looked interesting as well. All in all, it was a nice discovery to have one not too far from work.

I was quite surprised by this restaurant. I have driven past other locations, and randomly decided to stop in one day. First, let me comment on the staff… they are SO friendly and helpful. You are greated coming and going… and EFFECIENT. They are constantly running food and restocking the salad bar to ensure that all food is fresh. Even the manager runs food, cleans tables, and checks on all partrons. Think of this as a café versus a deli. They offer a wide menu including several vegetarian options. and a salad bar! Who has those anymore that isn’t an all around buffet? Looking from a far the salad bar looks a little small however it’s jammed packed… including premade pasta, potato, and quinoa salads. All meals come with free icecream — maybe for dine in only? I am quite happy with my experience, and hope to be able to come back soon.

Don’t let the 3 star review fool you. The food is good. I’ve had at least half the menu. My big issue is the price. Time and time again I go and look for the value in the food. it just doesn’t seem to be there. It’s pretty overpriced, in my opinion. Good food, decent service. I would suggest anyone that will see my review, check out Kataland Kuzina. Spelling my be off. They’re in Gahanna. The food is absolutely incredible and the prices are an absolute steal. It’s a better, cheaper option. Location wise, it may be out of the way. But if you go there, you’ll thank me later.

We had this catered in for a work lunch and it left alot to be desired. I don’t understand how you can be a deli and have such dry bread. If you are in the deli business, you must have freah, soft and flavorful bread. This is far from it. I would definitely not visit this location on my own time and I think after our feedback, we don’t have to worry about our employer ordering this in again!

Good food but very slow service. Only one cashier and long lines. Another cashier in the to go section wasn’t doing anything. Ice Cream is nice touch.

Good food. Decent price. Makes for an easy lunch or dinner on the lighter side. They offer a wide range of selections to choose from.

HORRIBLE! — NOT A DELI! I ordered The New York Yankee which should of had pastrami, corned beef, swiss and mustard on rye. When I got back to work there was no pastrami in the sandwich at all whatsoever. Sadly the pastrami was the part I was really looking forward to(before reading other bad pastrami reviews) and all I was left with was the the *mediocre at best, out of a package tasting, corned beef and generic swiss. The rye bread used definitely does not hold up and just breaks apart not to mention the fact that the taste of it makes Wonder bread seem gourmet. I also had what you they call«french onion» soup which has absolutely no relation to any actual French Onion Soup I or anyone else has probably ever had. They should call it *Beef Box Soup with Mush-n– Cheese. Just horrible! I would of gone back and return the excuse for a meal if I didn’t have work. I will never eat there again and highly recommend anyone reading this to not waste the time or money. GOTOKATZINGERS! MMMmmmmm…

The service is excellent. The Reuben is quite an exquisite choice for a hot sandwich, and the Deli Club makes you feel like you’re in a country club. For dessert, I would recommend a slice of cheesecake, they sure know how to make a good cheesecake.

Growing up in Baton Rouge Jason’s Deli was always a family favorite. Lunch today in Columbus did not disappoint! I just wish we had one where I live now in Northeast Ohio! Food was fast, perfectly cooked, and delicious. The staff was pleasant, extremely helpful and all had smiles!(you do not see that often) Restaurant was clean and welcoming. I will make this a regular stop for sure.

I was really hoping for more from this place. I really wanted to like it. We were out running errands in Polaris with our young daughters and needed a quick place to grab a bite to eat. When you arrive, you order at the counter and then the staff will bring your sandwich to your table(seat yourself). There is also a salad bar, which looked pretty appetizing, but I opted for a sandwich. I ordered the zucchini grillini and my wife had the tuna melt. My kids had a mac n cheese and a peanut butter & jelly from the kids’ menu. Although we also ordered a soup and one drink, I was surprised that our bill was over $ 25. Listing everything we ordered here, I felt like the price was steep for what we had. Our food arrived very fast and this was the greatest benefit to the place. My sandwich tasted good, but it was very small. In fact, when it arrived, I was pretty sure they give me some child portion of the sandwich. I immediately wished I had gone to Panera. The good news is that the sandwich tasted pretty good. I also tried my daughter’s peanut butter & jelly since she didn’t seem to like it and the bread was too dry to eat. The crust was too hard for her to bite into. I don’t know if the bread was old or if that’s how it always is. I also tried my other daughter’s mac n cheese and it was pretty good. She didn’t eat much of it though. Another complaint I have is that I ordered a fountain pop and it was so watery I couldn’t drink it. I tried the Dr. Pepper and the Coke and didn’t finish either one. On the bright side, my wife enjoyed her tuna melt and french onion soup. She said she would order that again, especially picking it up to go if she was running errands in the area. They do have free soft serve ice cream for anyone who dines in — both vanilla and chocolate. I wasn’t impressed with the ice cream either, but I can see why that would draw all of the families in. Looking around, it did seem to be a lot of young families. Next time I want a deli sandwich atmosphere, I would go to Panera Bread. Same type of food, but better quality.

Whether in Beaumont, TX or Columbus, OH, it’s our family’s favorite deli. All-you-can-eat salad bar, great vegetarian options, traditional deli-style choices, general clean and casual atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service. And of course don’t forget the complimentary soft serve ice cream and coffee for after the meal!

I’m used to Jason’s Deli in Texas and it is always nice to see something I’m familiar with. They’re a decent sandwich and soup place, and have excellent sweet tea… Although, being from the south I do «like my tea so sweet if you run out of syrup you could pour it over your pancakes in the morning.» It gets a little pricey if you do a full sandwich, soup and drink, so the manager’s special is the way to go(half sandwich, and a cup of soup.) It’s usually around $ 7 + a drink. They have a large dining area, so if you’ve got a big group, family, or a rambunctious kid, it’s easy to find a place to sit.

This is a nice place with lots of space and a selection of food good enough for even the pickiest of eaters to enjoy. I usually frequent Jason’s Deli on Sundays with a large group after church and they are accommodating and easy for our group of 13 – 18 to work with. We can order individually, move chairs around to sit together, and the food is brought out to us. They’ve got everything from pasta and paninis to a great salad bar and giant baked potatoes. Plus there’s soft serve ice cream to top off your meal. Give Jason’s Deli a shot. You’ll like it!

Jason’s is a great place when you need a quick meal but don’t want standard fast food fare. You can do super healthy here. You can do unhealthy. And you can have ice cream at the end. I stuck with my usual: the Mediterranean wrap. Which is lo-cal but very tasty. The boyfriend had the California club which looked wonderful and came with a large side of fresh fruit. We both enjoyed our meals and will probably be back when we’re in the Polaris area. It’s definitely a good break from the less-than healthy food we’ve been eating lately.
