Quick service on an early morning stop before a Tuesday Workday. Friendly to serve and quick to prepare. The Santa Fe Turkey Sausage sandwich was alright. I probably won’t get it again. It was pretty messy and the cream cheese spread wasn’t my best choice. Prices are average-high. You’ll spend around $ 7 – 10 for a bagel sandwich and a coffee. Parking is decent; Street and Private Lot. I wouldn’t necessarily go outta my way to go to Einsteins for food, but I’d swing by if it was along the way.

Awful experience. The young lady taking orders had no idea what anything was on the menu. It took us 10 mins just to get through the order process only for our order to be wrong. We get down to pay and see that after saying we didn’t want chips they still put it on our receipt… We took a table and noticed we had paid for the chips so I got up to grab a bag of chips. A little later the young lady who was taking the money who rang us out accused us of stealing the chips. $ 1 chips. Really? Another customer had purchased a fountain drink and noticed there was no ice left. She politely went to the register to inform them that they are out of ice and they all looked at her like she was ignorant. We were there probably another 30 mins and not once did a worker come fill up the ice machine after countless customers had purchased fountain drinks. It honestly seemed as if it was every employees first day. The lack of organization was unreal. Our food was great but unfortunately the food is nothing without a good atmosphere and great customer service. Needless to say we will not be back and it’s unfortunate because I didn’t want to give my business to the Panera opening up right across the street.

I miss having the Einstein Bros. on Bethel Rd., which was close to my house. I have two breakfast usuals from EB: the spicy Elmo breakfast wrap(a whole wheat wrap with eggs, bacon, green chiles, and a spicy sauce) or the bagel with lox and cream cheese(I get the everything bagel toasted). The breakfast wrap is very filling and holds me over for hours, which is good while traveling. The bagel with lox and cream cheese come with onions and capers. I order the lunch portion so I can get a side of potato salad. Yes, potato salad may be weird at breakfast, but, whatever. Einstein Bros. is nice because it has some lower-calorie options like egg whites and bagel thins. They have a decent coffee bar and you can get lattes and mochas and they typically have a seasonal flavor or two. Service tends to be pretty quick – you order at one end of the counter and pay at the other. They have a deal that if they fail to give you a receipt, you get a free lunch. The one thing that EB has been slow to warm up to is having wifi in its cafes. This may be a good decision, however, to decrease the«lingerers» that other bagel shops like Panera tend to attract – get the customers in and out. I’d prefer the wifi, since I sometimes go to EB alone and it would be nice to surf the web while I eat. I think more cafes are adding wifi. All in all, a solid breakfast choice with a number of menu offerings to suit whoever you are with. Pair with one of their coffee selections and you’re off to a good start for the day.

Good bagels, decent coffee. Can be a bit pricey depending on what you order. They don’t have vegan cream cheese, wish they did, but overall a decent place to grab a quick bagel and schmear. They have free wifi now, which is nice.

Close to work. I like the healthy breakfast options like the all wheat thin bagel with egg withes and either the turkey sausage or the mushrooms and spinach. Both are really good. I try not to get the fruit and juice because it raises your bill pretty high. Those items are expensive. Even though they have fresh OJ which is delicious. Place is clean and staff is nice and friendly.

In all, your average bagel shop. As I’ve mentioned in another Einstein review, I think this particular chain has survived because of the varied options(while still being a bagel shop). You can get as bready(or not) as you want, and there’s lots of options for every end of the dietary spectrum. As a chain, the quality is generally consistent(in my experience). This particular location pleases me. There’s a few quick options along this portion of high street(Wendy’s, Taco Bell), but it’s mostly bars and restaurants. I usually stop in here for a snack if I’m getting a particularly lengthy service at the nearby Salon Lofts, or if I’m walking back downtown to return to work(iced tea!). There’s some outdoor seating and on the weekends, this really feels like a neighborhood gathering place. The neighborhood would suffer if there weren’t a good midday option for a refreshment. However, they close kinda early, so if it’s late afternoon check the hours. One time, I ordered a sandwich, paid for it, and then waited a really long time before realizing it hadn’t even been made yet. Something just got lost in the shuffle. Luckily I wasn’t in a hurry, and this story has a happy ending. Once I mentioned the mistake to the staff, they quickly responded by making my sandwich AND the manager gave me a coupon to come back for a sandwich on the house. I’d already paid, so this was a great option. I wasn’t even mad… since I wasn’t in a hurry(and understand these things happen sometimes), I really was not disgruntled at all. The fact that the staff noticed the mistake and bent over backwards to correct it(without any prodding from me) was fantastic.

Well this was an extreme fail! I went Einstein for a bagel with lox. The bagel and cream cheese were good, but the fish was old, watery and disgusting. I pitched it, finished the bagel and left majorly disappointed. BOO!!!

I’m a regular here. They are always quick! And I alwayssss get coupons from the staff. I get teated like family and that is exactly what I am looking for in a breakfast spot! I also love the outside seating and that everyone brings their dogs!

Good bagels, not the best in cbus but consistent and quick. I also recommend it for lunch, as the sandwiches are decent for the price, and better for you than the surrounding fast food restaurants. They have a mango bagel with reduced fat mango schmear right now that was quite tasty.

Although I am not a huge fan of this place for bagels I gave it another shot at this Brewery District Location for lunch. Upon scanning the menu I was immediately intrigued by the ‘mix and match’ menu. For less than $ 7 I got a decent portion of a mixed green salad and a piping hot cup of soup. The place was packed with the local white collar crowd picking up sandwiches that looked equally delicious. This is a good quick and inexpensive spot for lunch amongst the overrated and overpriced deli’s on nearby 3rd street in G.V.
