We were in town for a film convention. The prices were decent and the food was great!

This is an awesome place, we booked a brunch reservation, and the figured out it was also Mothers Day. The atmosphere, the menu, and drinks were worth every cent. Service was outstanding, every one was so friendly

Decent pizza, bad service. Last two times I went in I had to wait for woman to finish her Candy Crush before taking my order, 2nd time paid with a $ 50 and got some lip. Not going back.

Not a bad lunch place to grab a slice of pizza and a side salad. Quickly service and decent prices also help. Will definitely be back, just will not sit next to the front door with the annoying alarm that tells you the door is open.

We were going to see a comedian at the Palace Theatre at 8PM and were running a little behind so we had to pick somewhere nearby at 6:45 pm — based off of previous Unilocal reviews we picked this place. Our order was taken and prepared quickly and when the pizza was put in front of us, mouths were already watering! This pizza tasted just as good as it looked! Has pasta and salads for a choice as well. If you need a quick bite and a drink before the theater, I would definitely recommend this place!

I love this place. I went for the first time today and wow… That was the best pizza I have eaten since I’ve moved here last year. Prices are reasonable and there slices are huge, and they don’t taste like frozen fresh out the microwave.

I had the pizza. It’s close to New York style as it can get in Ohio. I have to say you need to add some garlic to the pie to liven it up. The sauce is a hair sweet then New York but overall a solid 8. The price for drinks and food is very reasonable. The service is outstanding.

Wish I could give more stars. 1. Skip the dishes is god awful. They should just go away. But. After skip saying our food was delivered. It wasn’t. We called nappy. They said your food is still here. We got it figured out. They remade our food. Because it sat to long. We didn’t want our meal comped but they did. I was so surprised at how well they treated us. They are amazing

I don’t often find myself in downtown Columbus on a Saturday evening, but knew I’d be here so I did some research. I’m happy I did. Many restaurants in the area are only open during regular business hours… 8−6ish Monday-Friday. Boy am I happy the chain restaurants were closed. This place is a hidden gem that I wouldn’t have found otherwise. If you’re looking for classy, don’t come here. If you’re looking for down-to-earth staff and delicious food, this is your place! We ordered a 12″ pizza, half pepperoni & green peppers and half sausage & bacon. The sausage is just okay, but everything else was great. I will say, my ‘half’ was only 3 of the 8 pieces, but I usually eat less than my husband so that was okay with me. We are here for a show at The Palace Theatre so of course the place is a little busier. However, the staff made sure to check on us as much as they could. We waited a little longer than usual for our check due to computer issues, but were ahead of schedule so we didn’t mind. Moral of the story, great place. Great food. Normal people with normal technology, but still an amazing local joint. Support Columbus and eat local!

Worse customer service. My 8 year old boy needed to use a restroom. They were empty except one table, and said my son couldn’t use the restroom unless I bought something. Person who served us just seemed very rude. I have no clue how good the food is but service is just as important.

I’d put the pizza here in the fine but unremarkable category. Which kind of makes me sad. I want to like it more than I do. One caveat. My review is based on single lunch time slices, and I’ve never explored the variety of other things on the menu. Among other things, I’ve been told that a full pizza, made from scratch is a significant improvement over the single slice. That is perhaps because, like all slice-based establishments, the pizzas are made and then reheated upon ordering. Unfortunately, one of the downsides of this approach is that the texture and consistency of the cheese suffers. Also, I know it’s a matter of opinion, but I prefer a saucier pizza. They apply the sauce with a fairly reserved hand. If you ordered your own pie, I imagine you could ask them to instead go heavy on the sauce and light on the cheese. As far as toppings go, I definitely recommend the sausage over the pepperoni. The pepperoni is a little bland and somewhat sparse. The sausage on the other hand is well distributed with a pleasant flavor. The prices aren’t bad, especially if you’re getting one of their lunch time combos. If you’re getting a single slice it’s a little pricier, ringing in at about $ 4 after tax for a single topping slice. They have updated the back room recently and turned it into a fairly nice looking bar. I’ve not visited, but it seems like it may hold promise for a convenient happy hour downtown.

Came in on a Saturday night. Place was pretty full. We sat at the bar, which was empty when we arrived. We ordered a couple drinks, which we got promptly, but they took a long time getting to us to order food. They were very stressed and, at one time, I heard the manager tell a hostess/waiter to make sure he was notifying the customers it would be 30 mins for food. When we finally did get the bartender to take an order for food, we just went with meatballs since we heard it would be awhile for food. We figured that should be fairly quick. Meatballs were amazing! There were 4 in a bowl of marinara sauce and gobs of delicious mozzarella… it came with a garlic knot to soak up the savory sauce. Very good! We were pretty relaxed and not in a hurry, but the stress of the employees was difficult to ignore.

It’s not the easiest place to pick up from. Our offices are located just outside of their VERY small delivery area(apparently they only deliver by foot) which is really a bummer as we would order them much more often. They do miss out on very large orders from us as we will instead order from someplace that will deliver. The pizza is great, big NY style slices. I highly recommend the meatball. My only complaint about the food is the lack of toppings. The meatball is a specialty pizza that you pay more for yet on some slices(again, huge slices) you only will have one sliver of meatball. This was a common comment in our office while we were eating. The service when we came in to pick up was very nice and they remembered us when we came back.

Average. I guess it’s all depends on what you’re going there for. I did not order food so I can’t comment on that but all the other reviews seem to think it’s pretty good. Ordered A beer which was fine but didn’t feel like this was a place to stop in and come in to hang out… Would like a little more cool and tempered atmosphere around the bar but maybe it’s the fluorescent lights that are above killing the mood. Good for families, day time and nice dining area I’d say for a pizza joint. So we move on. :)

First off, I appreciate that this place was open for dinner when I was wandering around downtown in the cold, after dark, completely unfamiliar with the area. I feel like everything around here seems to close at 5 pm. If it hadn’t been for Café Napolitana, I would probably have eaten a Clif bar in my hotel room. The servers here acted like they absolutely did not want to be there. «Bored» is the best description of the vibe I got from them. I don’t expect everyone to be thrilled to be at work, but please at least try to smile and be friendly. I had the gnocchi, which was pretty good, not the most stellar gnocchi I have ever had. The portion was huge, and I took most of it back to my hotel. I have definitely had better pink/creamy marinara/whatever you want to call it sauce. The garlic rolls are really big as well, but nothing to brag about. They’re okay, not stellar. They serve a need for bread to dip in the extra sauce on your pasta. Overall, I was glad to have dinner, but if I had other choices I would probably eat elsewhere.

Recently went here when they had their 99cent pizza slice email deal. The lunch crowd seemed to be mostly construction workers or people getting it to go. The front of the restaurant is a dive bar and farther back is the counter to order pizza. All the pizzas were pre-made, they cut off slices as orders are placed and heat them up. The service was fine but not great. This pizza is surprisingly filling. It’s thin crust, not real New York style, and the crust was extremely chewy(not a good thing). The cheese, sauce and toppings were good though. It’s just a quick, cheap pizza place and you get what you pay for.
