Great gifts for Mom. I don’t know any classy older ladies who aren’t in love with Brighton products. My Momster adores this stuff. Around the holidays, the mall is loco, but this shop is a gem.

The customer service here is absolutely horrible. I received a gift from here that wasn’t my style so I went to take it back since the person included the receipt. They weren’t too busy but one lady(the manager I believe?) was schmoozing a couple trying to make the sale so another associate approached us. When we told her we were there for a return she got all flustered and said she didn’t know how to do those so she’d let the other lady know so she could do it. When she let her know we were there, the woman whipped around and snapped at her that she was with a customer and she’d be there in a minute. 10 minutes later after she’d gone on to 2 other customers who were dressed in their designer best unlike us, despite my obvious huffing and puffing at the counter and looking at my husband like I was about to EXPLODE, she sashayed over. I told her they weren’t my style, I had the receipts and expected cash back. Nope. They don’t give you cash back, only a gift card to keep shopping there. I explained that no offense but this jewelry was for older people and there was nothing there I would want and she gave me a tight lipped fake smile and said«sorry.» $ 110 on a gift card I had no use for. So I’m looking around the store at jewelry, purses and fragrances and nothing appealed to me. I even tried to GIVEAWAY the card to people shopping there and they looked at me like I was trying to scam them. Finally, I went back to the counter and gave it back to the witch… err…lady who gave me the card and told her to apply it to the next persons purchase. She was shocked and asked if I was sure I wanted to do that and I said yes. She asked if I wanted to give it back to the person who gave me the gift and I told her the relationship I had with the person and it would end up doing more harm than good and I’d rather pass along a nice surprise to someone else. Her heart seemed to melt slightly and told me what a nice gesture it was and she would do so. I did this in front of the other employee and 2 customers so that it would make it a little harder for it to disappear into her pocket. See, you don’t have to wear Dolce & Gabbana to have some class, lady!(This was also before I was aware of places like or similar sites that could’ve sold my gift card to someone else and given me a different card or cash. D’OH!)
