Buyer beware! I got scammed by this company! I had them out to look at a problem with my furnace, they told me I had to replace the entire thing(kept saying it was like the engine in my car broke down). They said I had to replace my entire furnace($ 3,000), but I decided to get a second opinion. Not only did«engine in your car» sound far too conspicuous and give absolutely no details, but a cracked heat exchanger has nothing to do with a pilot light not staying lit. The second guy I called charged $ 100, replaced the thermocouple and one little fuse, and that worked. My heat started working again. I am upset that Airtron let me freeze multiple nights in a row to try to drag me into buying a furnace that I didn’t need. I will not use this company ever again. No thank you!

I’ve been an AirTron customer for a few years now and with each passing service, I become more and more impressed with their expertise, customer service and high degree of professionalism. This past weekend, they truly saved me. You couldn’t pay me to use anyone else. During my 15 point Furnace tune up on Saturday, it was discovered I had Carbon Monoxide leaking at a very high rate. My service tech, Abdul, took no time in getting a rep to my home on the day it was discovered to come over and set me up for an installation on Monday. He took the time to show me the rate of my CO leak and illustrated the reasons why my level was of a grave concern. He took time to explain everything so I could understand the seriousness of my broken furnace. He showed me his CO measuring tool and how he came to find my reading. Interestingly enough, when Abdul came by on Saturday to do my tune up, I immediately recognized him as he was here just this past June to do my AC tune up! It’s refreshing to see a business retain top talent and we quickly recognized each other. My sales rep, Jeff, was awesome. He called on his way over and asked if it was still a good time to meet. When he got here, he took all the time I needed to explain my options and was full of product knowledge and options. Jeff was extremely easy to like and relate to and was very pragmatic in his approach for my needs. I liked him immediately and knew the dreaded process of selecting a new furnace was going to be fair, honest and as painless as possible. My dispatcher whom I spoke to both Saturday AM and Monday AM, Alicia, was awesome. Patient. Very other oriented and her assistance to me with my questions were taken with care and I was made to feel like a valued customer. I was turned onto AirTron by a dear friend and I’m fully convinced there is no better service in town. They are savvy in hiring and obtaining talent, they are customer oriented and they work well as a team. I truly feel they have my needs in their best interest and yes, in a situation such as this you get what you pay for… my life in avoiding long term damage or even DEATH is worth the investment in doing business with AirTron. AirTron all the way!

I was contacted by the service manager regarding my experience — he was very accomodating and wanted to discuss the sales call. No need, since I selected another contractor that was more economical and provided a more complete quote. I would probably consider Airtron again if I were shopping for another unit — my current 18 year relationship with them has been satisfactory. The service manager’s concern was appreciated, as he is trying to ensure customer satisfaction.
