2 stars for great selection… otherwise…meh…
I have been here 4 times in the last 2 weeks. and each visit I have purchased something, and while walking out of the store I am thinking…“great selection of beer wine… employees need some serious customer service training.” They aren’t necessarily rude… just uninformed of their inventory, and no focus on customer.
I asked 2 employees about the point ratings on microbrews, and neither one could answer what it meant, and did not try help any further.
They seem to be preoccupied with talking on their headsets… weird…
It is located close to the hotel, so I will go back as the selection is great. But I would not drive out of my way to come here.

Great selections on what ever you are craving. They have a tasting hour most days during the week. Bob is awesome on the spirit side. He has introduced me to different brands that I may have never tried without his insight.

Great prices and value. The selection is amazing!!! The liquor is on one side and the wine is on the other. Well organized and the staff is very friendly and helpful!!!

The store layout seems different than a few years ago but that is good. The entire store looks newer and has a tasty room of some sorts in the back. Many beers to choose from on the right hand side of this location. I found exactly what I was looking for from Holy City today. Cashiers were really nice and talkative and seem to be in good cheer. The rest of the staff seemed kinda of neutral and kind of whatever. But not every place you has time to sit and talk about ales and porters for an hour they have jobs to do here. Would shop here more but I hate Harbison traffic like the plague, it takes forever to get here and off the interstate. I suggest getting here mid morning to lessen the gridlock you have to sit in. So all in all a pretty decent store to shop if you don’t mind traffic.

I might have more fun browsing the selection and reading their wine guide than purchasing and drinking. This is a great store with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Prices are quite often the lowest in town. If you enjoy wine, you will not be disappointed.

I’m a huge fan of total wine & more and make it a point to stop in anytime I’m in a city that has a location. We had stopped in Columbia in the fall and did a little re-stocking of our depleted wine cellar and, at the time, I thought it was a little dingy and didn’t compare to the others I’d been to. Our travels brought us through Columbia recently and we had a huge shopping list to catch up on so we made a bee line to Total Wine. I noticed right away that improvements had been made and this place now is spectacular! Clean, well lit, well stocked and organized, modern restrooms, and helpful staff. I felt so inspired I bought 3 cases of wine. Highly recommended!!!

Great store. Friendly & knowledgable staff.
They suggested alot of different types of wines to us, based on our likes & dislikes. We have purchased some fabulous wines here, from all across the world, that we otherwise would not have even thought to buy, if it wasn’t for the great staff & their recommendations.
The in-store Wine tastings are a great help too. You get to sample a good selection.
Hubby was happy to see the Walk-In Humidor that they have. He has bought several cigars from here.
