Great casual bar! I love the atmosphere and it’s a perfect place to go to catch a game. They also have trivia night and board games to play! The only downfall is one rude bartender they have. He’s always there… I don’t even order drinks when he is there because of how difficult he makes it. If he wasn’t there I’d be there a lot more.

I couldn’t think of a better bar. I’m a regular here and I rarely go anywhere else. There is always something new and different on tap and the employees know everything there is to know about their products. The passport is worth investing in. I’ve been forced to go outside my comfort zone and try new beers. It’s been a great experience! I highly recommend itap any night of the week. The specials are unbeatable and it’s all great quality beer.

I used to love this place, it’s a fun and inviting atmosphere, a more casual place to watch a game, and the selection of beer is great. You’ll find college kids in there on a Tuesday or Wednesday night just doing homework. I am only rating three stars, because it seems as if the service has gone down the drain. I had to deal with a really rude bartender, wish I caught her name because it was really off putting. I would love to recommend this place to friends but hope that the service improves, because it is definitely lacking.

Good service, buy don’t expect to leave with a bill under 65 dollars. Also don’t get the beer passport unless you are willing to drop 45 a week at the bar.

The bar tenders are always so helpful, which is great for people like me who aren’t too familiar with beer. The atmosphere is fun! This is a great place to meet your friends or study during the day with a delicious beer.

Great beer. Bad Music. Loud college kids. Wish they had a pool table. You can bring your own food or go to Walmart next door and grab something. Parking can be an issue.

This place is great. Decent price draft specials. Its got a great bar with every beer you can probably name and then some in bottles or on draft and you can join the 300 beer club if you want for $ 20. They give you a passport and stamp it after each beer, After 300 you get a plaque on the wall with your name on it. My only complaint is that there are entirely to many TV’s. It distracts from the natural charm the bar already has and half the time no one is watching them anyway

I love this place. An incredible selection of beers and knowledgeable staff. Plenty of TVs, so you can watch whatever game it is you’re trying to watch. Best part: they don’t sell food, but you can bring in any food you want. Order a pizza! Bring some chinese food! Whatever! But there is one problem I’m having trouble overlooking: The music is TERRIBLE. Oh my god, is it bad… and it’s really loud, so there is no ignoring it. It is a depression-inducing mix of early 2000s pop-punk and screamo, high-anxiety, aggressive nineties alternative, and lots of general bloodcurdling screaming and loud guitars. In my time sitting there attempting to relax with friends on the patio I heard a song about domestic abuse, and multiple songs referencing suicide. I was made to feel so uncomfortable by the music selection that it motivated me to leave, even though I REALLY wanted to stick around and enjoy some more awesome beers. Our waitress — who was friendly and helpful despite being overextended in the ground she was required to cover that night — did us the favor of asking the manager to change the music to something more pleasant, and the manager said that he could not because they have strict guidelines on what they play. This bar has everything I want in a beer joint. Except I can’t stand to spend time there because of the music. But don’t take my word for it – try it for yourself!

There early Sunday evening, nice place but empty and bartender came off as impatient when asked about beers. $ 10 minimum on card.

I wish we had one of these in Kansas City. Incredible selection of beers. The number of choices was almost overwhelming. I wasn’t sure what I wanted, and I am far from a beer expert, but the bartender was very patient with me and gave me several samples to help me choose. There are lots of TVs, so it’s a great place to watch a sports game. The ambience was classy, though. Overall it was a great blend of atmosphere, selection and service, and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough to others!

Nice place to try new beers. Be sure to join their passport program if you plan on coming here often. Also they do not serve food here but you can bring in food from nearby restaurants. Highly recommended if you are a beer lover like me. Can’t wait for baseball season as I will be watching quite a few games here.

What a great place! Tons of interesting beers for great prices, tons of TVs, lots of room, and super friendly staff. What’s not to live. We need one of these in San Francisco where I come from. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town, and you folks in Columbia should put this on your list of places to hang out.

Being from St. Louis, the place Itap originated, I had high expectations for this new location when I hear they were opening up. Lets just say my expectations were more than exceeded. The layout and design of the place is awesome! Great service and a huge selection of beverages to choose from. Itap, you did good! I highly recommend that everyone stop here for a cold beverage if your in Columbia. They’re bound to have a beer you’ll enjoy!

Largest selection of beers on tap and bottle in central Missouri. This is a must see if you’re in Columbia and are into exotic beers from all around the world! They have a very well planned out series of beers which have been throughly detailed in their«menu» as well as a list of upcoming beers. Depending on the night they have different specials which are very similar to the Flying Saucer along with a «passport» club. One thing that sets them apart from any other bar in the area is the fact that they do not serve food of any kind. They do encourage food to be brought in however. I’ve even seen food delivered while sitting there. Overall, I am very happy to see an establishment like this open up in the area. The prices are fair considering how diverse their selection is and the atmosphere is one that allows you to enjoy yourself, company of others, and beer without any distractions.
