Very knowledgeable staff and they are always willing to help you. Love the beer selection and the laid back environment. They also have a lot of fun events that go on. Highly recommend!

The beer selection here is great, as one would expect from the name. What really makes it shine is the helpful and friendly staff. They are always willing to talk to you about their selections and make suggestions if you aren’t sure what you want. While the prices are a little higher than you might find elsewhere in Columbia, they have a vast quantity of things that you can’t even find elsewhere in Columbia. They have an active calendar of events, but when there isn’t an event, it is a pretty quiet place to hang out and just chat with people, play a game, or get some work/studying done.

This place is is great. It’s big and roomy, tables and chairs with even a comfy sofa. The beer selections are great, both on tap and on the shelves. They have flavored peanuts you can pair with beers and even a craft beer cookbook that you can buy. Its a really cool place. The staff was very friendly snd also offered and provided plates and napkins when we brought in a pizza from near-by. We will definitely be coming back.

I have been a fan of Craft Beer Cellar since I first discovered it. Two main reasons: the selection and the knowledgable staff. You can find beers here that grocery stores and other liquor stores just don’t carry. There are some staples I’ve seen each time I go, but they also do a good job changing out their selection to stay seasonal. Since you can buy individual cans/bottles, it is a great place to try out something new. The bar in the back has occasional tastings, and always has beer on tap available to purchase. The taps feature things they carry in-store, so that is another great way to try something new. My favorite thing about Craft Beer Cellar is the staff. They really know their stuff and can help find exactly what you are looking for, or make great suggestions. In my experience, they not only know their inventory very well, they also know details that go above and beyond what you would get at any other store. This is a good spot both for beer lovers and for the average beer consumer looking to try something new.

Love this place. I come here every time I visit Columbia. They have an excellent selection of beers from all around the world. They also have a small bar in the back of the establishment where they have several beers on tap. They will also chill anything on their shelves for you to consume on premises as well. Their entrance is actually on Cherry Street across from Bangkok Gardens restaurant. A must stop for beer lovers visiting Columbia.

Hidden away in a basement, this place is gem! A store and bar of all the craft beers you can think of, from all over the world! You can buy the beers individual or as a mixed pack. Several of the beers are on tap at the bar in the back, and the bartender was more than happy to answer my questions about each beer, and offer free samples to boot! All the tap beers are reasonable priced, and there was plenty of seating for you to sit and enjoy your new favorite beer.

This place is an absolutely wonderful resource for good beer in Columbia. That being said, you may end up paying for it. The store is a nice mix — it has a bar area at back, and a store area which takes up most of its space. Their selection is unrivaled in CoMo from what I can tell. Domestic and import, of every variety you can imagine. They also have a build-your-own-six-pack, which gets expensive but is always a good resource to try something new with minimal risk. That being said, you do pay for it, especially with popular beers. It seems like they might make up for their selection with high prices on more common labels — for example, a six pack of Shiner Bock is $ 9.25. Wow.

Very cool concept, amazing selection of beers, and friendly staff. They might need more seating though if they keep doing such a great job!

Great place to buy any kind of beer you could think of, and you can also bring some food from one of the awesome nearby joints(we hit up Shotgun Pete’s BBQ) and sit and visit with friends and enjoy delicious fresh draft beer. If you’re not sure what you might want, fear not, the staff will guide you based on your preferences! Everything is reasonably priced, also.

Great selection, but a bit pricier on the items you could buy at other places. I would say go if you want to try something new, but if you’re just looking for good beer, go to Lucky’s or something. It is nice that they allow you to buy singles, so your can try some unique beers without buying a whole six pack.

This place calls itself a beer café — and it is a great concept. I went by on a Friday night and they were doing an event with Boss Taco. So you could buy a beer from their tap, or grab one off the shelf, pay for it and drink it right there! They don’t have a kitchen, but they apparently contract with a food vendor, like the super cool Boss Taco, to bring in hot food. They carry craft beers from across the US, as well as Missouri beers. I tried their 2nd shift beer that’s made just for them. Not bad, though I prefer the ciders. Overall, I saw a lot of people coming in, very excited that it jis now open in downtown CoMo. The place was bustling.
