Sorry Zumiez… I needed an expert for something I know little about. I went in to purchase a Christmas gift for my son who is passionate about long boarding. We expressed to the sales guy that we did have a budget. We had our hearts set on a specific brand they did not carry so we looked at another high quality our of our budget longboard. He first told us that he could give us 25% off and we were thrilled. Then he spoke negatively about the brand my son loves. He went to the back and returned about 2 minutes later to tell us «My manager said we can’t give you that much off but we can give you 15% off and if you buy an accessory we can give you 50% off the second one» We explained to him that he has everything he needs. He said «HE HAS EVERYTHING, A helmet, gloves, get him a jacket…» I asked him his name… Ricky he said. then he seemed to get impatient. I would buy the longboard at 15% off because I know how business is done. While we were considering the music on the over head speakers started playing «F$%^#^&in this and F#^$%^&%in that» with other loud and angry swear words. I had my 10 yr old and he just looked at me. No apologies from anyone there. I asked Ricky if he could hold the board for me. He said «Yes we can but if someone comes in asking for it then I will have to sell it to them» What is the point of holding it then. REALLY! Overall I was disappointed. We went down the hall to another shop and bought the board with over the top customer service!

I came here yesterday to buy a face mask. I’m from Texas and planned on going snowboarding today. Once I found my face mask and was ready to pay, I was standing at the counter forever, while a female employee had her back towards me for awhile till I said something, all while there was tons of other employees walking around us, once she takes notice to me she calls another male employee to cash me out… Took way longer than it should have for one item because he was carrying on a conversation with another employee about some none work related subject. So I pay and leave, today when we got to our resort in Keystone, I noticed they left the security tag on my freaking face mask!!! So thanks for not doing your job and not paying attention. I can’t use something I payed for that I needed!!!
