It is the Post Office, so I gave it three stars because it is prevented from providing the same level of service as a competitor such as UPS Store because of all of the governmental regulations. I pretty much avoid I went at about 4:30 and there was a line, as there always is at that time, and of course they only had two clerks. The clerks seemed to be fairly efficient, but both got tied up by the two people immediately in front of me, one was a stoner who was needing help in submitting his medical marijuana application and the other was a person who had multiple issues to resolve with USPS such as a package pickup and multiple money order purchase and something else that I didn’t get but seemed complicated. I have never been in this facility when there was not a line, so I do not get why they won’t staff. After all, this is the part of the USPS that makes money, they lose it on rural delivery and other delivery portions of the system. This is SALES!!!

*UPDATE* They seem to have solved their staffing issues at least. This time it took 15 minutes to get stamps but that was mostly due to customers with severe PO box issues. I wouldn’t go to this Post Office if I didn’t live so close by. They have a severe problem with actually STAFFING the counter. I kid you not, on 11−21−14 I head over to buy Christmas stamps. PO opens at 9am, I get there at 9:20, and there is a supervisor behind the counter who tells me that the clerk is on break and they are«not performing currency transactions at this time». Are you effin’ kidding me? He goes on to tell me to use the self service kiosk. I would, gladly, if I didn’t want Christmas stamps which it does not vend. Nobody to take my money? Here I thought all this complaining(and I have complained via e-mail, phone call and letter with no response from USPS) would make some sort of difference. When there are clerks behind the counter, there is usually only one and the line is out the door.
