Won’t waste my time or money at this store ever again. Cabelas has way better customer service, selection, and prices.

Yes I cheated on Cabelas. They too have a nice selection of firearms, optics, clothing, and archery supplies. I have never purchased a handgun, rifle, or shotgun from a Sportsmans, so I cannot comment on their prices. However, I have had several conversations with people behind the counter and found them very knowledgeable and not at all pushy. I have compared their clothing prices and found them comparable to other stores of similar nature. What I find really attractive are their ammunition prices. I have purchased 9 mm, 30-.06, and shotgun shells at Sportsmans and find them consistently less expensive than Cabelas by several dollars. Unlike others, I have yet to encounter poor customer service. Their store is not set-up as efficiently as Cabelas, so you may spend a little more time hunting for things — Ha! I am in the market for a 1911, maybe I will check them out. Please don’t tell Cabelas!

The man that helped me at the Bow counter today was very helpful. Great customer service and very knowledgeable.

Completely lacking customer service! If they aren’t to busy socializing amongst themselves, then they ignored me as the walk by. After literally browsing through the entire store, I was finally greeted by a young man behind the scope counter. It wasn’t long before a red haired woman rudely interrupted us and I just walked away. The young man did catch up to me and offered further assistance but I was over it. Turns out the red hair lady was an employee from the shoe department on her lunch. Few minutes later the same young man apparently upset lady he was speaking with and she pushed passed me without an excuse me or anything. Turns out she was also an employee. My 5 month old daughter was with me that day and heard my 2 cents about poor customer service and employees to preoccupied with socializing. I put everything back and left. Twice I’ve been here and experienced the same treatment. I WILLNOTRETURN!

I go there mainly for traditional archery supplies. Not many stores focus on traditional archery, but they usually have what I’m looking for(turns out bowstrings for my size recurve bow are hard to come by, mostly because a lot of places stay sold out). I am familiar with all forms of archery, but I mainly shoot recurve bows instinctively. I have one major issue with Sportsman’s Warehouse, though; because I am a young female, I am either a) treated like I have no idea what I’m doing or b) ignored altogether. If they’re not ignoring me, they’re following me around, watching everything I pick up or look at and give me their unneeded opinion. If I say I’m ok, then leave me alone until I ask for your help. Otherwise, don’t treat me like an idiot. And don’t ignore me completely. Just ask me if I need help. If I do, I want the same respect as anyone else. If I don’t, then kindly give me peace while I shop. This isn’t just this location, either. This is EVERYSW I’ve been to.
