There isn’t a reason why I should have rated this awesome place five stars. Only reason is because we got in 15 minutes before lunch ended, and we ordered a minute later, so we had to order from the dinne menu. Not a big deal, we just ate an appetizer. The nachos. To die for. Not soggy, it was perfect. The salsa-two thumbs up, margarita-two thumbs up. Clean. Next time im in town I will get an entrée.

Fun and wonderful environment, a great family Mexican resturant. Chips and Salsa/Bean Dip were great, don’t fill up on them, they are dangerous! Fajitas, Enchiladas, Carne Asada, Pollo Vallarta, Camarones Pueblo Viejo, its just great!

Stopped in for a vacation late night meal. The place was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and the food was outstanding. I had the barrito fajitas. It was one of the best that I have ever had. I live in oklahoma city and this was better than most places there.

WARNING! Although the food was pretty good during the meal my wife bit into a ROCK! It chipped her tooth and we still did not make a big deal when informing the staff. After informing them they didn’t offer anything but to take the one plate of the check. Even after paying for the rest of the meal that we did not finish the staff looked at us like we did something wrong as we were leaving. We would definitely recommend staying away from this place unless you are willing to take the risk of biting into a rock and paying for a chipped tooth.

Mom and I really enjoyed lunch. Pretty spot, very friendly staff and I always love a salsa with a bit of a kick! We will definitely make it a regular stop

We had brunch at this great Mexican restaurant and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is authentic and tranquil, complete with music and lovely décor. The food was delicious and the service was pleasant and speedy

Was looking forward to some true grit Mexican food having left South Texas a year ago. The décor is pleasant, the service is quick and attentive(although I must say the restaurant WAS almost empty).I ordered the Chile Rellenos-I might have missed the tip about ordering«crispy“They charged me extra for the dab of guacamole they put on top as well. My rice and beans which taste authentic were all swirled into a soup around the chilies. Luckily, I enjoy all these flavors and lots of cheese-but I would like them separately. No tortillas were brought to the table until near the end of the meal when I ASKED for them and then we got TWO. IS this because the restaurant thinks that white people don’t use tortillas? Maybe you could have offered us some TOAST then. The service is prompt, the food is good-but the presentation sucks.

Me and my girlfriend were lucky enough to move in right next to Pueblo Viejo. Naturally, we decided to try the place out within the first couple of weeks we got to the springs. During our first visit, the food arrived literally within 10 minutes if ordering, cooked perfect, and delicious. We have since returned several times, never waiting more than a handful of minutes to be seated. The food is consistently delicious and the service is consistently excellent. Highly recommended for any type of dinner outing.

The crabmeat appetizer tasted like cat food. Gross! Other than that good is below average. Would not recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in for a quick bite and found it to be clean and with good staff. The staff was attentive and polite, the place was spotless. I ordered spinach enchiladas, they did take quite a bit to come out, but once they did… they were excellent. Also their free. chips, salsa, and refried beans are very good. The dining area has multiple skylights and the lighting there is very natural and great.

Best Mexican food in the springs! Nice staff, delicious food, and clean kitchen. Try the«original» margarita and they have the best carne asada !

Chips and salsa are fantastic. However the fajita salad was quite bizarre. Very little lettuce or vegetables mostly fajitas onions and cooked mushrooms. So I don’t think I’ll be ordering fajitas here anytime soon. However their Friday’s connect phenomenal next time I’m in the mood for that I’ll give it a try.

This was the worst place ever better places in Denver for sure! The only good thing was the bean dip. Like seriously and rude service!!!

They bring out a delicious bean dip with the free chips and salsa. We ate both up twice before our entrees. Our food order was correct, hot and tasty. Our server was not very personable but he made sure our teas were never empty(a difficult task for us!) and everythig was timely and accurate. We are not familiar with this area but we made the right choice by coming here for lunch!

Thanks to Unilocal,we tried this place out while in the Springs. We are from Dallas, TX. so we are accustomed to very good Mexican food. This place met and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend the crispy chile relleno. It is delicious and the sauce that is on top of it was so so good! The service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. We will be back!

PV is the perfect spot if you have a large party with people who can eat a lot. The fajitas for 2 could feed a village. It should be renamed to fajitas for 3! The dish bursts with flavors and is loaded with chunks of grilled meat and vegetables. It was so delicious — especially when wrapped with corn tortillas! The complimentary bean and salsa dips with chips were awesome — especially the bean dip. Similar to delicious free bread, eat at your own risk or you’d be too full to enjoy your main entrée!

This place is okay. The bean dip and salsa were definitely the highlight of the meal. We dined at Pueblo Viejo last Friday night as they are open until 11pm and we were craving some Mexican food after a late workout session. We had the chicken enchilada place which was very tasty and the carne asada salad– which I didn’t care for– It had way too many sauteed onions and green/red peppers for my taste. Very nice and energetic staff.

Wow. Best GOLDMARGARITAEVER!!! Smaller but it was on sale. Beautiful décor, great Mexican style. The food was so good. I will definitely be back. I’ve been looking for a great Mexican restaurant outside of Pueblo, Co. Funny it’s called Pueblo Viejo lol. Good music even! Green chili wasn’t so green but still very good. Nothing but success from this business.

Two of us went for lunch. Didn’t have to wait for a table, very colorful décor, clean, solid service, and good food. Lunch started off with chips, salsa, and bean dip. We ordered and more drinks and chips were brought — I like this. Chips were pretty good, but I was more impressed with the salsa. Meals were service quickly and drinks refilled. Enchiladas were nice size, served with sauce, guacamole, refried beans, and shredded lettuce. I walked in hungry and left feeling full. Server really didn’t say much during our stay, no big deal, more importantly, my drink stayed full and the food was tasty!
