Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits

Could we please have a 0 star option? I went by for a tender dinner, I got day old jerky! 16 bucks for dinner for two people and the biscuit was the only edible part. It further confirms that the dining options on the north end of Colorado Springs and Monument are horrible.

Absolutely worst fast food ever. Waited 15+ minutes to get horrible food. The servings were like half sized too, my po boy had one chicken tender on it and my mashed potatoes were like 3 bites worth and cold.

Best chicken around ! Spicy or regular is great ! Yummy PO boys too ! $ 1.19 on tues for a leg and thigh ! WOW ! Value ! Red beans and rice is meaty and spicy and good for «to go». Proper SWEET TEA! counter help seemed very nice. Good seating area — don’t be frightened that it’s inside a SHELL STATION. Once you taste that delish fried chicken— it’s all good !

Incredibly slow drive thru and there were only 3 cars in front of me. Don’t come here if you’re in a hurry, took 20 minutes to get through. Food was good though and the manager made up for it.

Yuck… worst restaurant in Monument. Very thick breading covering up small amounts of fish and shrimp. Will never eat there again.

Well I can’t say about this place, two years ago we came here had bad food, well now I back in town, I said this last Sunday lets try here again. The first person I met was Andrew, young man whose was patient with my order. I ordered four different individual meals and popcorn shrimp, two regular sides (mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese) with extra biscuits and can you make everything fresh please! He didn’t have a look on his face; he just has a small smile and said no problem, sir. And while I wait halfway through, I went back up to take a picture, then Andrew offer me a small drink while I’m waiting, before long I met Peter, the only other person working beside Andrew that day. And let me tell you they were on it, making fresh everything I asked for, and they had drive-​through to take care of too. I was shocked they got the order right, when I got home, everybody ate everything. Except my sister whom said the mashed potatoes and gravy was a little too spicy for her. But my folks and I ate it, I thought I had a great meal.

I have been to this place twice since I moved to Colorado and each time they give me a surprise when I get home after taking my order to go, it is always wrong. I pay extra to get breast part but they always give me a wrong part consistently. Avoid this place.

For some odd reason I’d been craving fried chicken for weeks. Yesterday I finally gave into my craving and hit the drive-​thru at the local Popeye’s. I should have known better than to get food from a restaurant which shares space with a gas station but oh well. Now I know.
The $ 2.49 special was a great deal! Two pieces of lukewarm — dry chicken and a room temperature stale biscuit! Yum! Hard to beat that value.
Next time I get a strange craving for fried chicken I’ll either, 1. Drown it with whisky. 2. See a hypnotherapist. or 3. Take the cheap route and ignore it.
