King Soopers

The staff here wants you to feel like family. CLEAN STORE, remolding now, with RX and Starbucks. Do not like the shelves filled with Kroger or Good Value brands versus name brands but that is a Kroger thing. I am not a sushi fan but others love this location for it and counter is busy and always fresh. New deli being remodeled now. Busy RX location with new digs open this Sunday. Meat counter guys always helpful.

This location is like a shining beacon of light in a vast grocery deprived wasteland. I kid, i kid. But the selections are sparse in this end of town. Always clean, bright, and well stocked, I do enjoy shopping here. The pharmacy department is particularly helpful.

We do most of our shopping here. It’s a pretty typical Kings Sooper. It’s clean with good service. The selection of food is okay. It’s not a stand out store by any means, but somewhat better than an average grocery store.

I live up the street and find my self running to King Soopers on a regular basis. They would have 5 stars for customer service no doubt. Their staff is always friendly and acknowledging of all customers that enter their presence. I am always asked if I am finding what I need while shopping for meats, produce or anything else I might be near. They have also gone out of their way on a few different occasions to look up specialty items they might not carry and help me find
The main problem is that there are only 2 main grocery stores (not including the Vitamin Cottage) in the Monument area. I find that whenever I really need something they are sold out. This has happened on SEVERAL (10+) occasions. Weather its French bread, jalapenios, fresh spices like cilantro or basil, anaheim peppers you name it the desperate you are for any particular item the more likely they will not have it in stock. I ask each time I cannot find something if they can go look in the back for it. More times than not they come back empty handed.
This is the only grocery store I have experienced that is completely sold out of very common items on a regular basis. Monument has many houses and not enough grocery stores. If you go after 2PM or any time on the weekend its a complete mad house and the shelves are wiped out. I know this is not directly King Soopers fault but I wish they were better prepared for the rushes they know are coming on a daily basis.

I feel like I come to this particular supermarket every time I visit my in-​laws. This particular store is very clean, very good, has great customer service, and of all things great customers. The store also has a decent sized Starbucks coffee shop. Plenty of seating if you want to just lounge around while a family member is doing the shopping for you.

I’m so glad I moved to Jackson Creek, I lived over close to Woodmoor for a couple years we had to shop at Safeway just for convenience, but now that I’m in Jackson Creek King Soopers really close to me and I absolutely love king sooper, I love the produce and most of all I love the people, the workers, the management everyone is super nice there’s a couple of guys there in the meat department. I wish I knew their names one of them has seven kids or something and is always super friendly and eager to help the other one is young kid is also really helpful… now the people in the deli are always quick to help but they need to smile a little more. The deli managers a big boy with black hair and a black moustache he’s always friendly and recognizes me and speaks to me and even showed me how to fill out the survey on the bottom of the receipt one time he was super helpful. I’ve returned something before no problems at all they were happy to do it I even had them order my favorite chips that they didn’t carry again no problem they did it happily. I love the olive bar you can fill up one of those big trays for $ 8.99 which is a great deal I like to get the dolmas and the couscous it’s wonderful the lady that works back there she also does the cheeses she’s a little grouchy sometimes but I bet she’s in her fifties and sixties and still working full time on our feet all day so I give her a bit of a pass… poor lady I understand why she’s not smiling she’s having to wrap cheese and spoon olives all day long I probably wouldn’t smile either. I’m still giving the grocery store 5 stars because the good does certainly outweigh the bad… they have a free little horsey up in front that they provide pennies for so my kids can ride while I’m checking out… they have a nice floral department… I’ve gotten my prescriptions filled there highly recommend this king sooper much prefer to Walmart only thing that beats this King Soopers is Trader Joe’s.

Best grocery store in all of the north side of Colorado Springs and Monument. They are always quick to open another checkout if more than one basket is in line. Management is close by to answer any questions and be of help. Deli and meat dept. is top of the line. My wife shops at Walmart but I’m a King Soopers fan!

This King Soopers has been redone since I lived in the Springs, it looks much better now. Great deli selection, even has a sushi counter.

It was clean and organized. I am not sure what else to say about a King Soopers.

Of the Kings Soopers we have in town, I think this specific one exceeds many of the others around here. They have great produce– filled with organic and the like. A cheese bar– not quite as big as whole foods, but not an expensive either. The florist area is quite nice for this being a grocery store and I love all the specialty foods you can buy from here ie– tons of organic, vegan, gluten-​free… only drawback is they don’t have boars head deli meat!
All in all– a nice place for grocery shopping with a clean and friendly environment.
