The ER staff was great. I was there late March and they found a blood clot in bilateral upper lungs. I was so scared and I’m scared of staying in hospitals. They had taken me up to the 5th floor. The charge nurse didn’t want me there because in the ER i had a panic attack. Leah was my first nurse and was wonderful, she was even defending me as my husband heard the other nurses laughing about how I blinked saying i was an drug attack, laughing about the way I ate, walked, and the worst the way I was hearing.

After a year of many ER visits due to my health problems, I had to be admitted over this valentine’s day weekend. First time I’ve ever had to stay overnight, needless to say I was a little scared. The staff here is hands down the best group of people that work together. The nurses, doctors and cna’s are so sweet! They are all smiling and laughing and make you feel very comfortable. They are so passionate and work together as a team. The rooms are very peaceful considering where you are. I’ll never go anywhere else if I have to go to the hospital again. Very, very great staff :)

Okay, I had been in the ER on 9 – 15. I thought I had been given proper care, but I was bleeding so badly from an ovarian cyst that had ruptured. They did blood work and did an ultrasound and told me what had happened, but did nothing for it and sent me home and told me to get in touch with my Dr first thing Monday as they didn’t have anyone on staff to treat this. I leave and all day long I’ve bled severly that isn’t normal. I call them and they want me to go back so they can«repeat» all the steps they did the night before, which was to draw blood and do an ultrasound? Really? So I ask if they can get an on-call physician in case I may need surgery and they tell me no, but as much blood as I’ve lost I may need a transfusion. So, give me more blood and let me keep bleeding it out. What a concept. I reached my Dr office and they have me on a med to start to slow the bleeding until I can see someone on 9 – 17. This kind of thing is not normal and someone should have had a Dr to come in and give me options instead of sending me home the way they did and not stopping the flow of blood. The staff was very nice, but I shouldn’t be so scared about what is happening and no one giving me answers except to say they want me in for more blood work. What is this all about — them making more money because they didn’t take care of it the night before? After my friends found out about this, they have all said they would never come here based off of this experience. Myself, I am not sure I want to go back, either. If a woman had gone in and had a miscarriage, would they just tell her what was wrong and send her home and tell her to wait until she can get in to her Dr? This is very weird to say the least and I’m not happy with this at all. Be careful if you go here.
