PCI Construction Services

PCI has been a wonderful company to work with and they will work with you on just about anything; most especially Dave Fleming. This is the second time I’ve used PCI (the first time was by referral from a trusted friend) and I will use them again in the future. They do great work, are very thorough, communicate well, and do what they say they are going to do. They even «fixed» a problem before I even know about it on the first job. In addition, they offer very reasonable rates and will even give additional discounts or rebates for referrals. They are top notch and I highly recommend them for all your construction needs!

Lots of broken promises is how I would summarize my experience with PCI.
Just getting an estimate and for them to take a serious look at the real problem was difficult. I got PCI to give me an estimate to fix the leaking through a flat roof over our enclosed patio. That was April. By time August rolled around they were starting to hedge and I lost confidence they could do the job at all, let alone well. They finally decided to try to use a silicon substance to seal the roof and were supposed to get me a new estimate for the labor and materials for that since apparently their expert estimator was incapable of putting together an accurate estimate the first go round. He texted me in August that he would be giving me an (second/​new) estimate later that day – I have yet to hear back from him – just totally dropped the ball – no call, no text, no nothing. That is, until yesterday when I received an invoice for the part of the job that they did do – which was incredibly minimal. I asked the neighbors if they had seen anybody out there and they told me they saw someone out on the roof late one afternoon. Doesn’t sound like the level of work they claim in the invoice.
Anyhow, they came recommended so apparently others have had a positive experience, but frankly they were a train wreck for us. I tried to be patient (I consider four months to be pretty patient) but at the end of the day they failed almost completely and never contacted me to let me know what was up («Sorry, we just can’t do it and we’re giving up» would have at least informed my next steps). Apparently they just send an invoice and hope people will pay it, I guess. Terrible.
The estimator told me that they’ve never received a one star rating before and that they’ll go above and beyond to make sure people are happy with their service. Um well. Here ya go.

They did my roof several years ago. Looked great until it leaked this spring. The cause was probably that the nails they used on the flashing around the skylights weren’t sealed (standard required in roofing), as well as lack of sealant on the joints of the flashing around the skylight. It had gone out of warranty several months prior.
The leak damaged my ceiling. I hired PCI to fix it.
They tried billing me for work they didn’t do, but said they were going to do. Quality of work they did do was terrible. They threatened to put a lien on my house when I refused to pay what they demanded. After a lot of back and forth they dropped the charge altogether, but I insisted on paying for the work they actually did, even though it was below par. I’ll go with anyone else next time.
I repaired the flashing and nails myself with better holding nails and caulk. Haven’t had a single drip since then, despite many storms.

PCI was excellent. Our roof is gravel and tar – we were having a lot of problems finding someone who could come in to repair it for us after some big hailstorms last year. After calling around to several companies that were recommended by our insurance agent and getting NOWHERE after the insurance company wouldn’t cover the damages, a friend recommended PCI. We called, they came out right away. It took a little bit longer to get us an estimate because it’s not a «normal» roof and we had to have some other work done first, but we called them back when that got backed up to go on with the roof repair. They gave us an estimate, and once it was signed had the work done within 10 days.

I own an older home that was damaged severly by the May 2014 hail storm. I called my insurance company immediately and they assigned me to a company that was completely overwhelmed and understaffed. I soon realized that it was going to be a rocky road with this assigned company and asked my insurance company to let me select my own contractor, which I did. After reading reviews and interviewing several restoration companies I settled on PCI. I chose them because they seemed to genuinely care about my house. We have been working together on my house to get it back into pre-​hail condition for the past 4 months. During that time, Linda has been exceptional. She repeatedly states that she is a «perfectionist» and she is. She made sure that my house was taken care of over and above what I expected. Things took a frustrating long time for several reasons, but Linda was always completely professional no matter how frustrated I was. I would not hesitate to recommend this company or to use them again in the future.

I pretty much have the same review as Matthew below. Dave, linda and everyone else at PCI are pure professionals. Linda called us quickly after our flooding in our house and explained the entire process to us. They all showed up shortly and Dave and his crew calmed our fears and explained what they were doing, how they were doing it and how long they were going to do it for.
I would highly recommend this company for your needs.

We have a second home in Colorado Springs that had a major leak at the top floor of a three story home. Being that we are in California and not in the springs all that offen we needed someone we could count on. Dave, Linda, Todd and all the other people at PCI were absolutely amazing. The quality of work exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend PCI for any construction needs. In looking for a contractor what else could you ask for, honest, reliable, and the utmost in quality workmanship.
