The food is okay, and they deliver to our house. But on this last run, they actually increased the tip on my credit card, after I had already signed off on the bill. They increased it by over a dollar. You can’t do that, it’s illegal, and it’s theft. I’m betting they think most people won’t notice, though. I think I’ll avoid this place from now on.

Good but not great. We live just outside of the 3 mile radius so we had to pay a $ 3 delivery fee, which if the food was awesome it would be worth it. It was delivered in the time frame they gave, however they forgot both of our soups. We didn’t even bother calling about it because we won’t be ordering from here again.

Have only been once and for lunch. Amazing price per portion size. I got the Orange chicken and unlike a lot of places these days you could actually taste the orange. Was super delicious and under 7 $ for the chicken, soup, eggroll and Rangoon thingy.

Paid $ 9 for Wor Wonton soup. Wontons were great, broth great, but no «wor» to the soup. No veggies, shrimp, beef or chicken. Just broth and wontons and some shredded cabbage. Very disappointed!

Update — in spite of being totally incompetent in billing for my order initially they did manage to bill me after the fact. Seriously go someplace else. Food isn’t good enough to endure the hassle

Food is adequate but honestly tastes the same anywhere else. Nothing extra or special about it. Service is extremely slow and delivery is NEVER on time. I order from them as they are only one of two places that deliver to the AF Academy. 60 minutes past estimated delivery time and the person answering the phone says«it just left»(before even asking who I was). Another 30 minutes later and another phone call to them: «driver should be there in a few minutes»(I live less than 3 miles from the restaurant. I could make it there faster in a wheelchair than them driving) Waited 15 more minutes and called to cancel and get a refund. Then I’m told they«…couldn’t start delivery until a few minutes ago as they didn’t have a driver». So they lied for over 90 minutes instead of just being HONEST! Service like that deserves to be fired.

The food here is good to a little above average. Always fresh though. Service could be quicker but always is friendly. Average prices for Chinese in this area. I do recommend this place to my friends. Atmosphere is nice, quiet and upscale. You get a good bang for your buck here.

The food is pretty decent but they got one order wrong. Service was slow. Décor is nice. Fine for a fast lunch but they need to step up the service.

Lots of food for the money and the service is friendly; however, the food is so-so. Our search for good Chinese take-out in Colorado Springs continues.

I’ve been here a few times. The food is pretty decent. Service is often slow. Décor is nice. The last time we went here I had ordered the mango and sweet rice… which is usually really good. When it came it was very bitter and unripe. When I asked about it they told me it is not mango season… oook… so why serve it then? It was like I was being blamed for ordering it. So they refused to take it back or refund it… hmmm… it was a party of five and they got Zero tip from me(so they kinda did pay for it… im a very generous tipper). Talking to the owner/chef guy… he seemed to have the kind of attitude where he didn’t care to lose us as customers. I will always be sure to give New Panda lots of free advertising(not the good kind). Lesson for the day… be nice to your customers… they keep you in business.

I give this place 3 stars only because of the pricing to the amount of food you get. New Panda is your typically greasy Chinese take-out place. Their delivery is fast and what you get for $ 6.99 is a whole lotta food… is it great food… I don’t think so but that’s just me. I know there are tons of people that love this stuff. The deep fried spicy General Tao’s and Sesame Chicken, orange chicken. If you’ve had any of the numerous Chinese buffet places that are everywhere in the Springs, then you’ve had food from New Panda. They are fast, convenient which I think is the main reason they have managed to stay in business for so long(while many other places around here can’t seem to make it).

We have been going to this New Panda location since it opened which I think was back in 2003. We love their food. We have even moved to Vickers and N. Academy area and we still drive to their Voyager location to get their food. There is no place by us(and we have tried many) that even compare. Their combination Lo-mein, combination fried rice, eggrolls, beef & broccolli and their crab puffs are too wonderful for words.

Good Chinese food is hard to find. I tried New Panda because it was down the street from my house but I was very disappointed. I had the sesame chicken one time and the sweet and sour chicken another time. Both times, the chicken was so dry it was stringy– even with breading and sauce it was really rough and dry. The sweet and sour sauce was just ok. The only thing I liked were the cream cheese wontons. If you’re looking for good Chinese try Shangri-la. I’ve never had a bad meal there and the prices are really reasonable.

Lunch menu, all but 1 item was $ 6.99 or less. Good portions. They have daily specials of $ 4.95. The special comes with Wontons or Egg Rolls, a choice of soup.

I eat at New Panda quite frequently for work and normally get General Tso’s Chicken or Sesame Chicken. They are both very good, although fairly Americanized. I have had the Kung Pow chicken and its ok but the sauce lacks a little flavor. I had the Fried Bean Curd most recently and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of vegetables and tofu you get. The brown sauce was also a little better this time around. Their soups are pretty standard and not as salty as most Chinese restaurants. The service is a little impersonal, but it’s a Chinese joint; what do you want? They tend not to come back after you get your food is all. And for the vegans, vegetarians, and gluten intolerant, they don’t know if their food is safe for you so you had better choose some other restaurant!

I have eaten quite a few lunches here and find it an excellent value. I especially like their Kung Pao Shrimp, Sesame Chicken and Fried Rices. They avoid the greasiness that plagues so many other chineese restaraunts. For a very reasonable price, you get soup, spring roll, crab rangoon, and enough entrée to take some home.

Not the greatest chinese food in the world but is acceptable for delivery chinese. They do have free delivery fee within 4 miles. I’ve never eaten there but simply use them for delivery only. The food is fairly consistent. Like I said acceptable but not the greatest in the colorado springs area.

New Panda is one of Northgate’s best kept secrets! There are a variety of tasty options on the menu but the Mango Chicken is one of their signature dishes. Very good, especially when you ask them to crank up the spice. This is a favorite lunch spot for Compassion Int’l and Oracle folks who office nearby. Dinner crowd is mostly take-out so there is never a wait. I love the way that they offer a lunch-style option at dinner where you get soup, appetizer and entrée for one very reasonable price.
