Best best best chicken teriyaki I can get in Colorado Springs at the lowest price! My boyfriend and I literally just drives to the mall to get the chicken teriyaki, it is yummy and addicting and it is not at all expensive for the amount you get! I wish they were a bit closer though, it’s like a 15 minute drive from where we live.

So delicious! I’ll come to the mall just to eat here versus ordering takeout bravura I KNOW it’s going to be good every time. No hit & miss here. I always order the chicken and I believe it’s 6.35, worth it 1 because it’s delish and 2 because of the portion. Don’t underestimate this quick mall stop.

The chicken with fried rice was pretty good, esp for mall food. The portion was amazingly huge. I asked for extra chicken, wow it was a lot.

My first impression was, «Fast food, but on a tepanyaki-hibachi grill?» In the middle of the food court at Citadel Mall, Hibachi-San is a Japanese fast food chain owned by Panda Restaurant Group(they own Panda Inn and the Panda Express chains too). They offer a variety of entrees, with bowls that come with sauteed vegetables or steamed rice and plates that come with fried rice or noodles. Not all Hibachi-San locations offer the fresh grill where they make your meal right in front of you. It’s located right next to Panda Express in the food court, but most of the time you’ll find a long line in front of Panda instead of Hibachi-San because of their image. But don’t be fooled, most people think Hibachi-San is pricey for fast food and they don’t bother checking out the menu, but it’s actually healthier and costs about the same as Panda Express. I mean, they’re owned by the same company anyways! Hibachi-San uses NOMSG, as compared to Panda Express that packs their food with preservatives. Your food at Hibachi-San is made when you order, so you don’t have to worry about food that’s been sitting out for a long time. The chicken meals are worth the cost, but the portions are smaller for the beef and shrimp meals. The best choices are the Tepanyaki Salmon Plate and the Tepanyaki Steak and Shrimp Plate but ask for extra chicken, steak, and shrimp if you’re really hungry. The lasting impression? «Hibanchi-San beats Panda Express.»
