Fairfield Inn & Suites Colorado Springs South

I enjoyed my stay here. They offered free Wi-​fi and complimentary breakfast. A lot of hotels I’ve stayed in don’t offer those things and those little things are important for me. They also had a microwave and fridge in my room which was great. The room was clean but not spotless. The shower curtain was dingy and you couldn’t tell if it was dirty or just dingy from multiple washes. The bed was comfortable — I stayed in a king-​bed room. I liked the storage in the room. Multiple drawers and cabinets. The front desk staff was very friendly. The only thing I was really disappointed in was their fitness center. They only have 3 machines: treadmill, elliptical, and bicycle. For me, in addition to the cardio machines, I’d prefer some weights and an open area to do abs, pushups, etc. But it’s good they had something for people that like to workout during their vacations.

It’s an average Fairfield Inn until you go down for their complimentary breakfast and taste the food and meet Sonja that makes breakfast every week day. Not only is her food delicious, she is the kindest soul I have met in a long time. After having one conversation with this lady you will love more than just her cooking. My love and I stayed here for 2 weeks and during our stay I had some issues with my arthritis and didn’t get up for breakfast. Sonja noticed and asked about me and went out of her way to save me a variety of choices for breakfast and brought it to me in my room out of the kindness of her heart. Several days went by where she did this even though she is obviously extremely busy in the kitchen she thought of me each day and made sure I was taken care of. She took the time to get to know me when I was able to come down to the dining area or outside sitting by the water and I am so grateful that I got to know her. I made sure to leave her all my contact information in hopes that we stay in touch forever and hopefully when she comes to Texas to visit her daughters, I can return some of the kindness and hospitality that she went above and beyond to show me. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. I am hoping to return frequently (mostly to catch up with Sonja again).

Stayed Aug 1 – 4. The room and beds were adequate, although we found the «office-​type chair» for the desk to be very uncomfortable. Not all outlets worked, and we had to switch out our recharging devices. Wi-​fi was VERY good — it was fast and reliable. The décor is rather dated, with a mish-​mosh of styles. Pool is tiny and remained cloudy throughout our stay.
Hotel had sign asking us to conserve energy by re-​using our towels, but there was literally no place to hang anything. Bathtub/​shower had a grab bar placed just above the tub, making it useless. One small shelf in the tub for bath items. No other place to put things while bathing.
One small sink outside toilet/​tub area. Again no place to put anything.
Staff was fine and the price was not outrageous.

Not very impressed with the semi-​clean rooms or the poorly stocked breakfast buffet! Staff is very friendly and willing to help when asked but they have to be asked for everything. Our room had 3 guests yet everyday the room was serviced we received towels for 2! And everyday (out of our three night stay) I had to go to the front desk and ask for additional towels. The sheets did not get changed even after my child got hot Cheetos all over them… they’re red so it’s not like you can miss the soil on the sheets! Pretty disappointing for a Fairfield!

Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. Complimentary breakfast also available in the morning with eggs and sausage. Only gripe is that the walls are somewhat thin.

Great location, surrounded by food and entertainment. And shopping. The staff is super professional and answered all of my questions (I had quite a few). I had a nice view of a small lake chock full of duck and geese. The room was nice sized, with all of the amenities & was very comfortable to sleep in. Great place!

Stayed here the last week. As a Marriot Gold member and having stayed at properties all over the country, this was a weak property. 1^st of all the room was outdated, wallpaper in bathroom was peeling at the seams, walls were thin and I could the guy in room next to me snoring. Gym was 3 old cardio machines. Not the kind of place I will stay at again. Sorry Marriott, you missed the mark on this property.

Clean, easy to find, fast check in. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety– hot foods, fruit, nuts, and cereals. The woman over seeing breakfast was very nice and came over to chat with us after breakfast. The checkout was also quick and professional. I would recommend to anyone in the CO area! It is also close to lots of food options and Target too.

Tons of amenities in this hotel! Best beds to sleep in next to my own. I got a king suite, the room is not that large but has king bed, micro, refrigerator, and decent size tv. Hotel staff is friendly and attentive, love their hot breakfasts that are included. Place has a indoor pool but it is not heated and is shallow, perfect for kiddies. I could not find the hot tub though, they also have an exercise room and outdoor area where someone was doing yoga-​namaste. My puppy loved this place as it’s pet friendly. Best of all it was on the south side of town so I was out of most of the city traffic. There are also great restaurants nearby. Worth the money, every penny use
they have great last minute deals.

Nice King suite. Kari at the front desk took care of us! Very happy with the service she provided to make this a great stay for our family. Warm chocolate chip cookies at check in!

I booked this hotel for out of town guests due to the proximity to movie theater, dining, stores, and an urgent care nearby. My guests loved it. The room was nice with a microwave and refrigerator. The only issue was the refrigerator coldness could not be adjusted. We used their breakfast area two nights to have small gatherings and also their patio out behind the pool one afternoon and they were very nice.

This place was clean but mediocre. However I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast.

This Fairfield is recently renovated. It’s Fairfield at its best.
