Beautifully small studio with various instructors that teach independently. I like taking yoga classes by Spark of Life(Sheena). I also enjoy the belly dance classes taught there. It’s a great place to rent for workshops or if you want to teach your own classes since the rent is reasonable and the space is deceivingly nice for the location.

If you are looking for a yoga experience that is accessible, straightforward, and sans the sometimes-heavy dogma and jargon that can come with this activity, this is your studio. The first thing you will notice about Sheena(the instructor) is her unassuming nature. Her teaching style is very warm and non-judgemental, and she has a knack for recognizing where a student might be getting hung up before he/she even voices it. Variations for more advanced students in addition to modifications for those newer to yoga are given throughout class, and she takes care to remind folks that it’s perfectly fine to take a breather at any time if that’s what is needed. This is big, folks! Yoga can feel so competitive and intimidating at times, whether it’s with other people or just yourself; it’s a welcome change of pace to have the person teaching your class give you the space to remember that it’s ok to cool it once in awhile. So bring your body – whatever shape it’s in – and your experience or non-experience with yoga, and Sheena’s got you covered. What a great way to start(or end!) your week. You won’t be sorry.
