Critter Control

Spiders!!! I moved into a house that had brown recluse, hobo and black widows inside and out. Critter control came every two weeks until we didn’t spiders. Critter control is effective!

Had a woodpecker attacking my house on a regular basis. Critter Control came out, installed some metal flashing and a kite-​ish thing to chase them away. Problem solved. They even came out a couple months later to paint the flashing to match the trim.
They also were very courteous and professional throughout.
Job well done.

Critter Control came to my home, which backs to open space, to solve our Vole problem. He also noticed a basketball sized Wasp nest in the front yard! We signed up for quarterly maintenance and couldn’t be happier with the results. The Voles are under control and no longer tearing up the yard. The Wasps are gone and have not come back. They have been friendly, on time, and best of all solved our «critter» issues!

I heard what I think were two racoons mating in the crawl space of my 1910 cottage here in Manitou Springs one Sunday morning at 5:30am as it was extremely noisy animal scurrying sounds. The Thursday before I had notice the aluminum grill vent had been torn open by what I could only imagine would be a very strong racoon. The vent was literally pried open and the screen behind it all bunched up with fur clinging to the edges. The noise I heard was scary and the animals were way inside by my kitchen sink. My friend Shari recommended Critter Control. I called them that Sunday afternoon and Dave the owner said he would send Isaac over. Isaac did an outstanding job of ascertaining they had left. He went in the creepy crawlspace, on the roof and even peeked in the attic. Racoons have multiple dens, so now that I had peace of mind that no female was in there giving birth, a new vent was put on and sweet silence has reigned ever since. Thank you Critter Control– you know your stuff!

Followup from 11/​24/​2014 review. Sylvan didn’t come out to finish the flashing — he moved on to a firefighter position, and it did take some time to coordinate the followup for putting up flashing to keep the bats out after they cleaned up the area. It did finally happen in January 2015 when David came out and did an excellent job of putting up flashing all along the staircase leading to the door. It cost about $ 200.00 more dollars, but I think it was well worth it. He was working on a staircase and attaching it to the ceiling stucco, which is hard to drill into. He painted the flashing the exact color of the stucco and it blends in perfectly. He was courteous and efficient. Critter Control sends you an invoice by mail, and they always send you pictures of the work. I was very satisfied.
