Four of us had another perfect night at Cheddars, all dishes were fantastic as usual, drinks are a good pour, Hostesses were amazing, server helpful fast attentive, food hot and timely, atmosphere warm and relaxing, manager on the floor checking all night. All the elements of a perfectly run restaurant and a place to go again and again. Seriously, you all ROCK and do it well.

It is a very nice family place to take a small or large group. Great ambiance with a huge fish tank and friendly competent staff. We had a party of 25 and had no issues getting the food on time, having our tables cleared off as we finished drinks, appetizers and entrees. Nothing over $ 15 and ample food with sides included and reasonable fancy drinks! Close to our hotel, the Drury Inn, no wait and really really nice staff! Awesome steaks and cooked to perfection! Love them!!!

This place is pretty awesome, I don’t care if it’s a chain restaurant and a lot of senior citizens go here. I had the blackened salmon for lunch and it was delicious. Perfectly prepared. The sweet potato fries are amazing and the strawberry lemonade has lots of fresh strawberries muddled into it. It was a delicious lunch and very reasonably priced. My husband had the buffalo chicken wraps and devoured them in about 2 minutes. We live close by & plan to make this our lunch spot before movie dates.

Good food and portions for a fairly decent price! They have really friendly staff and are very accommodating. It is a fairly big space and there isn’t usually much of a wait. I’ve only ever been for diner but it’s consistently pretty good. I had the chicken fried steak and green beans which was really good. One of the people in our party had undercooked fish in their fish tacos, which was frustrating, we sent it back and it was still undercooked. They took it off the check though which was nice.

Colorado Springs is a dead town for foodies and as a New Yorker in exile I suffer greatly. Though Cheddar’s is yet one more southern contribution to this franchised purgatory, my elderly parents who are visiting wanted to come here so against everything in me, we are here. Our server must have been absent when God passed out personalities and should probably work at a McDonalds drive through as she clearly doesn’t understand the difference between a server and an order taker. I digress. My wife ordered the jalapeño burger med-rare as any steak or burger should be cooked. Our server in an almost scolding teacher mode informed us it can only be prepared med-well or well. That’s like telling someone I can either smash your toes with a hammer or pour gasoline down your throat and light your teeth on fire. Seriously. The answer is neither, no thanks! Any respectable restaurant or chef knows this is a crime against beef. It’s med-rare, always. Seriously, give me a break. May as well put a boot on a plate and serve it. I ordered something predictably forgettable and will try and put it out of my mind. A clear downside of people moving here to Colorado from Texas and Oklahoma is they encourage places like this with their two main ingredients of grease and ranch. Two stars because I’m nice.

My kids recently had a day off school, and this is where we went for lunch. They had a great time, and enjoyed their burger and chicken strips, but I was pretty disappointed with my lunch. I ordered the wedge salad and potato. I will give our waitress credit. She warned me the wedge wasn’t a «traditional wedge», and I should have paid more attention to her reluctance. The«loaded baked potato» wasn’t much loaded. A very little bit of cheese and some sour cream. I had to pay extra for the bacon bits. Even my kids made the comment that it was a little of a misnomer. On the upside, our waitress was AMAZING. She was fun, engaging, talked to my kids like they were real people(which doesn’t often happen), and was spot on with drink refills.

I know what y’all are thinking, is Colleen J. really reviewing a chain restaurant??! You bet your sweet buns I am and I’ll explain why. For those unfamiliar, Cheddar’s has it all — burgers, pasta, salads, steaks, southern-comfort-stick-to-your-bones food, beer/wine/cocktails, and above all, they have a kick-ass patio with a fireplace, heaters, and beautiful view of the mountains. You would think we’d have maybe a few more patios in the Springs… but we don’t, so in steps Cheddar’s to fill the void and they’ve done a great job of it. The service is always quick and friendly and the food is good. If you’re feeling froggy you can get something fatty and delicious(hello chicken strips you delicious little thangs), or if you’re feeling lighter you can order a kale salad with chicken on the side. Yes they have the obligatory chicken fried chicken(save this for your death bead meal) but they have so much more. Anyways, that’s my story with Cheddar’s and I’m sticking to it. The patio is HUGE part of it, but their service and food definitely do not disappoint.

Fantastic food for the price. Best onion rings in town. So good they don’t need dipping sauce. Just the right amount of salt, pepper, and spices. We’ve come twice and we have enjoyed the food more than we thought we would both times. Even the kids plates were quite good. The Mac and cheese isn’t just Kraft heated up. It’s as good as an adult meal. Service was great. With our three kids after our appetizer order the waitress asked if we wanted to order food as well. It’s exactly what we wanted. She was polite and quick and brought drinks before we had our last drink out of the glass. All the food was hot and delicious. Great place for a chain. Actually impressed.

Courteous staff + quick service + delicious food = no complaints! We tried the monte cristo for the first time and my husband loved it! I had the fish tacos fried and it was spot on. The only downside is the«corporate chain» feel of the restaurant but the food made up for that!

Honestly walked out of there thinking this place would be great if I expanded it to my hometown. Great service, appetizers, main courses, and prices. The bar wasn’t too shabby either. Would recommend this place to anybody.

My wife and I hadn’t been to a Cheddars in over 25 years. The last one we went to was in Fort Wayne, Indiana. So, this was very nostalgic for us. I probably would have given this 3 or 3.5 stars, but I gave it an extra star for the nostalgia. We both had the steak and ribs. I had a baked potato and my wife had green beans. My wife didn’t finish the green beans as she didn’t like them at all. The ribs were quite tasty; soft and fall-off-the-bone. However, both of us thought the rib sauce was mediocre. The steak was ok; but, nothing really special. It was just ok. The best part of the meal for me was the baked potato. It was excellent.

Giving 1 star because the croissants with honey butter were delicious! The rest of the meal… Well, cold(room temp) and was not cooked to order. This was our second attempt at this place and our last. The first time we went, the food was extra cold. We were told by the manager — who was very nice — that the food is precooked and pre portioned and then warmed up after ordering. Yuck. He gave us 80 $ in gift certificates to come back and give them another try. Hence the reason we went back tonight.

The entire experience was awesome! The waitress was not only attentive but also extremely helpful and friendly. The manager in training was actively on the floor helping out his wait staff and making conversation with customers. Everyone was great. My wife and I split the catfish and found it to be well presented rich and pleasantly savory. Great food. We also had an order of onion rings which were light and crispy, though could have used a touch of pepper.

For being a chain restaurant I was surprised how much I enjoyed my lunch. I had the kale salad with chicken and a swirl sangria margarita. The peanut vinegerette had great flavor. The drink was weak but for a $ 4 cocktail I can’t complain. The patio has great views of the mountains despite it over looks the freeway and the service was great. so in summary good food, great service, and really good prices. No wonder the get a lot of business.

Less then impressed, service was slow, no bread or anything before meal, they only cook burgers to well done, and two of the three orders were wrong.

Had a real miserable experience; ordered a medium burger, it took almost an hour to come out and it was overcooked to a rubbery puck. The waiter didn’t check on us until everyone else had finished their food, I didn’t take more than a few bites of my burger. I told him my burger was over cooked and he only offered a box to take it home. Bad food, bad service. Will not be returning here nor recommending it to anyone.

I thought this place was nice! When you walk in, you think its going to be quite costly, but it wasn’t at all. There was a little bit of a wait for a Thursday evening but not bad. Our kiddo was preoccupied by looking at all the fish in their big tank. Once seated we met our server, who was very nice. I wish I could remember her name(I’m horrible with names), but she is a taller girl with red hair! She was very friendly and attentive. My husband ordered a round of chips and queso, and they brought some salsa for us as well. I loved the queso, not too spicy or anything! The food didn’t take very long to come out after. I ordered the half rack of ribs, broccoli & cheese casserole and fries. Very delicious! My favorite part of the meal was the casserole. So very goooood. My kiddo had the grilled cheese w/apple and yogurt for his side, the hubby had a buffalo chicken wrap w/fries as well, and our aunt had fish tacos w/green beans. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. I loved the presentation of the foods as well. Too bad we were all stuffed, I would have loved to try dessert! I’ll have to try a Cheddar’s establishment up here in Denver next time!

Never been to cheddars but while visiting colorado, we stumbled across this restaurant by our hotel. Being from jersey, I would consider this restaurant a sports bar and diner atmosphere of nothing but good vibes and a friendly, alert staff. My boyfriend got the fried catfish and said it was the best fried catfish he had in a while. It wasn’t fishy or undercooked, only filled with a satisfying eat. I have ordered the Chrissy chicken salad(after contemplating every item on their menu very carefully) and couldn’t help but to finish the whole thing. It was so delicious that I couldn’t help but to out truck loads of fork fulls into my mouth and I am the biggest picky eater ever and am not the biggest fan of salads. If you’re out in Colorado Springs, give this place a shot. You will not be disappointed !

Haven’t been in here in a while. Came around the time they had just opened, but couldn’t remember if I liked the place. Probably not a good sign. Regardless, I decided to try it them again. We ordered the Chicken Alfredo and New Orleans pasta. Neither of us really liked our dishes. They came out warm, and not hot, as if they were sitting under heat lamps for a while. So, the sauces were somewhat dried our when the food arrived. We had a few bites and we both though our dishes tasted like a frozen dinner. Not horrible, but something you’d get in the frozen food section. My wifes dish had vegetables in it and they tasted particularly unfresh/frozen. I returned mine and got a cheeseburger instead. It’s was alright. The staff seemed pretty glum. The service wasn’t particularly bad, just… indifferent? It was Super Bowl Sunday, so I’ll have to give them a pass on that one. I don’t see this as a 3 – 4 star place, sorry. I think I know now why we hadn’t returned in so long.
