The service and food is incredible! I would definitely eat here again with my family. The fish and chips were the best fish and chips I have ever had and all it needed was the tartar sauce that was provided. I definitely recommend this place to take your family out to eat at.

I have been here several times. Food is good. The beer is better than most. What I found concerning is the bartenders and waitstaff seem to be working hard almost to the point of being overwhelmed as the managers sit in a corner booth drinking beer… witnessed this type of management style too numerous to count…

I took my husband here for a birthday lunch. I had the pbnj burger and my husband had ahi tuna sandwich. Both were amazing. Very flavorful. My burger was sweet and spicy I loved it! It is also a brewery so they had good choices for drinks. I’d come back for the burger! One thing is both dishes had bacon on it and the burger didn’t say that so I had to pick it out unfortunately cuz I can’t not eat pork. That would be my only complaint is I wish they disclosed that on the menu. Also the coleslaw was really good, wasn’t drenched in sauce, it was very light.

Have had lunch here several times. Service normally very good. Food always good or they will make right… skimpy on fries but do keep drinks filled. Great views of the mountains. Coke products and lots of different beers. Does get busy but can handle a crowd. Could be five star if «associates» listened better to details of order OR their systems do not allow for minor changes in the kitchen???

We decided to stop by for a beer and a snack after shopping around at Bass Pro Shop. Let me say, this place was a nice surprise. I ordered a sampler of beers, which is 310oz samples of your choice of beer for $ 7.99. Not at all a bad price for 30oz of local beer. We ordered the Ahi Poke Nachos and the Rattlesnake Bites, both were delicious, but the Ahi Poke Nachos were just absolutely delicious. Service was good, not great, took a few minutes for the hostess to greet us, though it was not a busy shift. And the prices were a little high for portion size. All in all, a pleasant experience, but since here in Colorado Springs there are many other breweries, coming back here wouldn’t be my first choice. Although, those Ahi Poke Nachos will be in my dreams tonight.

Been a number of times. Different days. Different size groups. Will not go back. AWFUL service no matter whether busy or not. Beer not served– server forgot. Servers disappear.

Super disappointed in the kitchen. GF had kale quinoa salad with no cucumber and almond, salad came with plenty of cucumber, no tomato and no feta(so nothing like the menu description). I asked for buffalo chicken sandwich with mayo on side, sandwich didn’t even have blue cheese on it(like menu says). Kids pizza was supposed to come with carrot sticks(had to ask for them as well) Drinks were empty and waited on refills for awhile. Came on Friday night around 630, wasn’t crazy busy. Disappointed in eating experience & service.

We had a wonderful meal here on Good Friday. The Kale and Quinoa Salad with Seared tuna was wonderful. Loved the craft beers, too. Beautiful view of the mountains.

Great beer but the food is so so. Ate there three times and the burgers are your best bet. They are kind of skimpy on the quantity of fries. A little disappointing when it comes to the food. I will give it another try soon. It most likely will be a beer and a burger.

We visited this spot on a whim and did we ever luck out! Taryn is the best dang server/bartender ever! The place is very comfortable and very well laid out. Their food and beverages are local when possible and the results are brilliant. We loved the décor– clean and modern but homey. We did a flight of draft beers, all of which were quite good, though I ended up with the IPA. To start we did the Armadillo eggs(yummy!) and then I had the Vampire fries and a salad(tons of food and on the HH menu for $ 5) and my spouse built his home Burger with wonderful results! Taryn memorized our orders and got them 100% correct even the 6 add on items for the burger along with the temp. I wish we’d had room for desserts as they are all homemade, but we’ll look forward to trying them next time. You can’t go wrong at this local spot. Cheers!

I would love to tell you that the food was great but I didn’t make that far. I hate to be that guys that slams a place that gets pretty good reviews, but sometime even a decent place has a bad and clearly this the one for CB&Potts. I waited and the hostess station for several minutes before one of the waiters came up to help. He asked how many in my party and I said I was to the first of 12. He then said yeah we were expecting you, and I said no your not cause we didn’t call ahead. He insisted that he thought my group was here, I again said no I’m pretty sure they aren’t, but I agreed to walk around the very empty restaurant and look. And guess what they weren’t there. Went back to the hostess station again and no body still there, waiter comes back up and totally ignores me and tells the group now standing behind that it is open seating now and feel free to find a table and walks off. So, I’ve decided it is going to take forever to get anything here to night and decide to split. As I’m texting my buds that I’m punting and I’ll see them later. Out of no where and almost 10 minutes the hostess comes up and asks if she can help me. I wouldn’t have been less surprised by her appearance if there had been a puff of smoke when she appeared. I say no that I leaving because I haven’t even got seated when the restaurant is empty. She asks why and then impart my tell of woe and she she looks at me asks ” Why did you walk around instead of just grabbing a table?”, I said«Because your idiot waiter told me I had to before he would seat me», to which she said«Hes not a waiter he’s a bus boy», after which I just left. So, the moral of the story is clearly if your expecting service on a Thursday night at CB& Potts you need to be prepared to live with constant disappointment and to never walk into a CB& Potts with immediately asking for an Org chart so you know who to ask for a table. They may have fine food and service other times, but tonight they were clearly not worth the hassle that I had to go through to get a seat in an almost empty restaurant.

Came here for post work drinks and ended up staying thru for supper. We were a huge group of easily around 50 – 80 people and it was great that the mgmt had tables in the bar area reserved for us. The seating was comfy and we had lovely views clear across to the mountains and Pike’s Peak. I know others have commented on the large TV’s that are dotted around the place, but frankly I found them to be super distracting. I think because it was such a big group, and there was considerable movement of people between tables, that it resulted in a lot of orders getting messed up. I got a beer I didn’t order and then a waiter went from table to table trying to figure out who had ordered a calamari starter. I originally wasn’t planning to get dinner as nothing had really caught my fancy, but it got late, so I ended up getting the Olympus Salad(trim size) with dressing on the side. The salad was okay — the onions were cut super big and I struggled to eat them. There was also some grilled vegetable that tasted off — not burnt, but like maybe it had started to rot. There was also some sort of a crunch, which I couldn’t quite figure what it came from, but it was hard on my teeth. A vegetarian co-worker who didnt want a salad also really didn’t find too many viable warm food option choice and ended up also getting a salad. While food was 3 stars for me, the service and friendliness and willingness of the staff to help out was absolutely 5 stars(despite the mishaps and the looooooong wait for the food!). I might come back for a drink, but unlikely to do so for the food.

Just had dinner here again last night and I think they this place must have be over an Indian burial ground or just has a curse on their kitchen somehow! Poltergeists aside, I must stress that every time we have been here the hostesses, waitstaff, and managers have been super welcoming and kind, always working hard to do their jobs! Sadly, it shouldn’t be that hard. Every time, without one exception, there is a huge delay of some kind on one or more of our menu items coming out of the kitchen, even to the extent our ENTIRE meal was comped once after 45 mins of waiting for 3 kids’ meals and a burger! Last night, our dessert cookie took 30 mins(to go at the end of our meal) and then was burnt when we opened it up at home! Really? French fries and waffle fries took 20 mins as apps and were barely even cooked through. Yuck. I’m not a great cook, but I love great food and eating out, and always willing to pay for truly good food and service. Potts needs some corporate retreats or something to get this place in sync or it will never survive at this location. Slammin food and service are a must! The turkey burgers, hot pretzels and gourmet mac n cheese keep us coming back for now, largely in part because we know something will be free after we wait for hours to get it! Potts should make sure the cooks are not smoking their namesake before work! Also, a beer cheese soup with NOMEAT! Phantom Canyon has that one down. Beer and cheese love each other, period. Cheese curds, football, beer, hello! Be that place!

I would give this place 4.5 stars but that isn’t possible. Service was fantastic. Food was pretty good. I expected a lot worse based on some of the reviews but I’m glad we came here. They also give very large portions. I only have two complaints. 1. I got the French dip and had to pay extra for cheese and extra for mushrooms. Felt a little«nicked and dime-d» on that. 2. To the management please get your incredible staff more help. I saw so many people lifting very heavy loads. Someone is bound to get serious back problems from carrying such weight.

It was our third time coming to CB Potts tonight, and for the third time, we’ve had mediocre service with just above mediocre food. At least this time the small portion of food was actually hot. The servers are nice for the most part, they just don’t come around nearly enough. If you’re expecting great service with great food, look elsewhere. Even our«long island» tasted nothing– and I mean nothing like a Long Island. The cooks even forgot the bacon on our bacon burger. Sad because this place has so much potential!

Welcome to the loudest restaurant in Colorado, where you go half deaf, eat forgettable greasy food and have to remind the server 3 times to bring you something. Huge pet peeve — weakly supported booths in the backing so when the guy behind moves so do you. It’s the closest thing to getting sea sick on land. 3 stars and I’m being generous.

Great beer. Ordered the 10 dollar nachos… it was almost entirely dry tortilla chips with a little bit of toppings all in the middle and the guacamole tasted like the kind you buy premade at Costco in squeeze packets. didn’t complain because they were slammed and we got minimal service anyways…

I am conflicted writing this review. I want a restaurant to do well on the north end of the springs, but I also need them to know that they have some work to do. The service was reasonably good(the only reason that they aren’t two stars). Hostesses were prompt and our waitress was attentive. Where things aren’t great is the food consistency and taste. My burger was overdone, ordered medium, and it just wasn’t flavorful. The patty was about as bland as it could be. I had the Faburge burger. I don’t know if they season the burger as they cook it, but it needs more salt. Rest of the food was ok too, but nothing terribly memorable. We will give it another try, but with cautious optimism

4 stars for the food, 2 stars for the service. I know they recently opened(roughly a month ago) but they should have their act together by now. We were in on Saturday night, thankfully we had called ahead so our wait time was only about 5 minutes. It took roughly 15 minutes for our drink order to arrive, and 45 for our food to come out. A friend sent her mojito back because she thought it tasted mostly like simple syrup. The Big Red IPA was good but I’d probably call it an «American Ale», IPA doesn’t seem to fit. The food was very good. The fish and chips was one of the best I’ve had. It was the largest piece of fish I’ve ever seen served. It was nice and crunchy but not overly greasy. I upgraded the fries to the«Vampire Fries»(the garlic fries), these were sooo sooo good. Bummed that there is a $ 2 upcharge for a little garlic and butter, but they were so good that I’ve already forgiven them. The club sandwich tasted great but was visually unimpressive and small, especially for $ 11. Our friends enjoyed their burger and fish tacos. The ice cream cupcakes are a great way to wrap up a meal, at $ 3.25 there’s no reason to pass them up. A manager came by and talked to us and was apologetic about the wait times. It’s nice to know that they’re aware of the problem. Hopefully they can get that sorted out. Looking forward to hitting up a late night happy hour, they are daily after 9pm.
