I love Cracker Barrel when I get hungry for my grandma’s southern cooking. I highly recommend the country ham dinner with hash brown casserole and fried okra. The latter is only good when it is breaded and fried, just like my grandmas.

We have loved Cracker Barrel for years. We tend to go to locations closer to Denver but we stopped here on our way back up north. We were seated quickly and our waitress was wonderful but our food took almost an hour to be served. When we asked to speak to the manager, he gave excuses about having new cooks, being too busy to fix the problem himself and never even said sorry for the mistake. He never offered to cover our meal or anything. We have never had a bad experience at Cracker Barrel until today. Poor management skills cause all around poor customer service. Savannah was a killer waitress though!

A typical Cracker Barrel location, and as busy as they all seem to be on any given morning. The food was good. I like their French Toast best, but I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad breakfast at a CB. Our service wasn’t great, but still ok. Overall, it was a good breakfast and exactly what you’d expect from any Cracker Barrel anywhere in the country. You could do better, but you could also do a lot worse.

Love this place! Actually, I love any Cracker Barrel but I’ve visited this one a few times from out of state. Food is great and I love shopping in the store. I’ve bought several things and had them shipped home without a problem. I prefer coming here for breakfast but any time of the day is good. Their blackberry cobbler is addictive. I wish we had one of these in California.

Had a pretty weird experience the first time I came here but would try it again. Chicken came out raw and by the time I got my cooked replacement, my friends were long since done eating and I just ended up getting it to-go. The cooked version of my meal was decent… so that’s why I might give them another go sometime. Will edit my review if it does ever end up happening.

I’ve never understood the attraction to Cracker Barrel. My breakfast was okay, but nothing spectacular. Yet when you see most of their locations on a weekend morning people are waiting like it’s the best food ever. My kids would love browsing the goods area of course, I might never make it out alive! Just keep pouring coffee and I’ll survive I guess.

Every time I come here I feel like I’m going home to North Carolina! They serve cheer wine! They also keep prices at a reasonable number so people are able to go eat as a family. It’s a great stopping place whenever I’m in Colorado Springs. I love the motif as well as the service. There quick efficient and the food taste the same every time I go no matter what time of year or what time or day. I highly recommend this place!

Was your typical cracker barrel. Staff was normal. Nothing so awesome about the place. Food served warm. Our waitress forgot to bring us refills a few times but if u r looking for something familiar then this is definitely the place to go.

Every time I eat here I am pleased with the delicious food. I only come for breakfast. I tried the blueberry pancakes this trip and they might be my favorite item now. They come loaded with blueberries and a jar of blueberry syrup. We never go alone there is always 5 or more of us, usually we are seated fairly quick. During our wait we enjoy browsing through the country store.

Cracker Barrel is generally very cheap and good enough quality and food. This location served nothing less than expected. The service is always friendly and he atmosphere makes you feel at home. Overall, if you are looking for a relatively inexpensive meal in a comfortable environment, then this is the place for you!

Not my favourite breakfast spot truthfully. There are so many better choices in Colorado Springs(Mountain Shadows, Mimi’s Café, etc), but it’s a good spot for my whole family to gather when coming from 3 different cities due to it’s location. My last meal here was very simple(bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast) and while I won’t knock the service(coffee was refilled repeatedly, juice served with the meal which is often forgotten) I really would rather have my entire meal at once. The hash browns I ordered to go with my bacon and eggs lagged behind the meal a good 5 minutes. By the time they arrived my eggs were cold. Timing a meal can be difficult, as any cook knows, but then please hold the order until it’s all ready to place in front of me. I’ve had the pecan pancakes on previous visits and while they’re not terrible it seems all the pancakes here are served more crunchy than fluffy… perhaps its the griddle used when preparing. Not a fan. The attached country store is a kick and I’m sure a decent moneymaker. Not anything you need per se, but a trip through time filled with old fashioned candies and country style ‘knick-knacks’, all somewhat spendy($ 1.29 for Necco wafers is too much). I’m going to see about finding another centrally located breakfast place for the family as I would not miss this place if I never returned.

I dig Cracker Barrel and the name is strangely fitting too. Walking in it seems you’re stepped through some sort of portal to the midwest. Suddenly you’re surrounded by crackers wearing RealTree camo, and folks talking with a drawl. The food is the best kind of comfort — down home cookin’. I can’t recall a time that I’ve had anything but breakfast. While the food isn’t incredibly inventive say like Snooze in Denver, it is still delicious and portions are excellent. Definitely give them a shot if you’re in need of a surefire breakfast or you’re missing Missouri.

Biscuits and cornbread were dried out and cold. Haddock was poorly cooked and didn’t taste good. Dinner was also cold. Seemed rushed like we were cattle.

They really need to work on their eggs. I have family south of me and we often meet for breakfasts. Cracker Barrel used to be a guaranteed good pick but not after this Sunday. We get there before the big crowds at 9:15−11, and this week made it in by 8:30. We were seated immediately and had a very pleasant waitress, Cheyenne? I think she was quick on our coffee and food order and checked on us just the right amount before the food arrived. When our food arrived the gentleman asked if we needed anything else and we asked for some honey. The honey never arrived and by the next time we saw our waitress we were done eating. We left by 9:30. My main complaint though and what may keep us from going back for a long while was the horrific shape the eggs arrived. Scrambled should be the easiest eggs to make for a restaurant, much easier than over easy/medium and the like. Scrambled should not come out looking like an egg pancake, they should be fluffy or airy and not dried out. Sadly we got the dry egg pancakes.

Came here with my son and husband and it was not busy at 830am on a weekday. Everything was good as I was craving to eat here since I haven’t been here in a while. I loved the pancakes and my husband and son loved their food. However my pork sausage patties were still pink in the middle, complained and said they said that’s how it’s supposed to be, um no pork is supposed to be cooked well done!

We don’t have Cracker Barrels in Washington State, so when I find one, I try to arrange my schedule, to have lunch. We arrived around 1pm on a Saturday, & man were they busy. Our wait to be seated was only 15 minutes. We got a waitress right away & our food arrived in a decent amount of time. This one is well maintained and very clean, which can be tough at busy times. The value for the food offering is very good. Credit has to be given to any restaurant that can serve this many guest, with such quality of food & service. Well done management.

you pretty much know what you get with cracker barrel. I rarely visit for any meal other than breakfast. Was there on a tuesday am and it was pretty quiet. Was quickly seated and greeted. Our waitress was Jeannette and she was phenomenal. She was attentive throughout and ensured our drinks were never cold. count yourself lucky if you are seated in her section. Food as always was solid.

Seriously, don’t bother with this location. I am a fan of Cracker Barrel country-wide. But this North Colorado Springs location has the trifecta: Bad service, Bad Food, and Bad customers.(Not in that fun, People-of-Walmart People-Watching way, either.) Drive to ANY other location in the US before you judge Cracker Barrel by this location.
