99 Restaurant & Pub

I’m NOT a fan of «chain restaurants». Seriously, I would rather starve. I went to 99 Diner with my husband and his work crew for lunch. I give the restaurant huge praise for having a section of their menu for vegetarians. I had their «Mozarella Bruchetta Salad» (pictured below). It was very good. The bar surprisingly has many craft beers on tap. Service was great and the restaurant was clean.

Bar staff is so fun and friendly, as are ALL the staff. Great menu that suits EVERYONES needs! The salads and the steaks are ALWAYS FRESH AND DELICIOUS!
If you like to go out, get a drink and an amazing meal, and a few laughs, feel at home and enjoy yourself, come here.

Chains are fairly the same from place to place. But Ninety Nine does a good job offering something a little better than the rest. We had large group of 10 and they were able to accommodate us comfortably and pretty timely as well on a busy saturday night. The food is nothing to write home about, but it was very good and everyone left satisfied.

Typical chain food establishment food was less than we expected. The booths were hard to sit in etc. …

Food was excellent, I had a steak dinner and it came with a French onion soup and peanut butter brownie for desert. I sat at the bar and the bald bartender dude served me, he was super cool and friendly and always had a cold beer for me. Excellent place and service.

Lobster roll. Fries. Cole slaw. Fresh & perfectly prepared. Overlook that it’s a chain. It’s worth it. Been thinking of this since last week’s lobster roll at the Sagamore!

Before you read this you should know I am nacho critic… That being said I got the nachos there was not a good chip to topping ration I ran out of topping with plenty of chips left my cheese was not melting all the way through

This is the best restaurant I’ve been in a long time! The food was great the staff was excellent. I Will definitely be there again.

Loved, loved, loved this place! Their specials were a lobster roll and prime rib. My favorite was the lobster roll, and my husband the prime rib. Our server, Elizabeth, was excellent!

Love this place. Never disappoints. I’ve been to the other ninety nine in Albany and not as good as this location. Staff is extremely nice. We go there so much they know us by name.

Always a good time here! The staff is fantastic. Food is always good. Drinks are made well and they have a great selection of draft beers.

Great for lunch or dinner. Perfectly cooked Prime Rib and fresh fish. I love the Fit For You Fresh Glazed Salmon. Always 2 for 1 Draft beer and a great wine list.

Horrible service. Food was OK. What you expect from a chain. 2 bad she tossed our left overs and gave me the wrong drink… asked for a dirty martini with kettle one got a gin martini i almost spit out. this is after waiting at least 15 mins and being ID two times b/​c «they are doing stings tonight» mind you i had my 6 month old daughter with me… blah. Waste of our money and time.

Decent atmosphere liked the high booths. It was later in the evening on a Saturday night and still a lot of old (like old) people in the place. Nothing wrong with that per say just saying not a young crowd. Service was good. Food was ok but They really need to put more cheese on the nachos and french onion crock soup.

I came here for lunch the other day — decent food, good service, relaxing atmosphere. It was pretty much what I expect at a well-​maintained Ninety-​Nine.
My southwest chicken salad was unbelievably spicy, probably the spiciest salad I’ve ever eaten. If you’re used to the southwest salads at your McRestaurant fast food chains, prepare for sensory overload!
I’m really curious of the source from which Ninety-​Nines stream their music. During my lunch I heard several songs in a row which I like and recognized, but which I’d consider a bit less common and quite unusual for a restaurant of its type:

My favorite chain restaurant and the Wolf Rd Albany NY location didn’t disappoint.
The boneless Buffalo Chicken are awesome. Kara the bartender was truly exceptional. Genuine great guest service… Not phony… And I had my favorite… hot buttered lobster roll.

Nice place, inside is much like a steak house. Food was good, ordered chicken parm and country fried chicken with (coagulated) gravy. Other than the gravy and the somewhat flavorless pasta sauce and chicken, it was fine. Better than the few restaurants near it anyways. Was a cheap meal for 3, popcorn while we waited was nice, great for when you have children. Waiter was ok even after us mentioning the silverware which had an abundance of water spots on it.

Blah blah pretentious blah blah i only eat local… blah blah it’s a chain… yes to all you other reviewers, you’re right, but If you wanted local non chain you drove into the wrong parking lot, which should be apparent by the sign outside.
Here’s the deal, Yes, 99 is a chain, it isn’t great but it’s also not bad.
The bar tender, Bo, is super nice. He remembers the locals, and is fast to serve you. Same goes to the other servers. I’ve never had a bad customer service experience here at all, and that to me is just as significant as the quality of food or product at any establishment.
For $ 9.99 you get a huge amount of food that is fairly good, the fries have always been fresh, veggies are good, salad has fresh ingredients, you can’t beat the price.
HANDS DOWN the COLDEST beer in the area. I’m not saying they have your preferred draft or every selection, but if it’s there, there’s none colder than here, or less expensive. 2 for 1 drafts, not a bad deal.
If you want quick, filling, easy, food and good customer service go here. Good for lunch, burgers, salads etc.

99 is a good chain. I don’t really eat at chains, because I prefer to try new local restaurants. It was pretty basic, but good. I did like that they had popcorn on the table, and that there were lunch sized portions. My group got a selection of sandwiches. The french fries were a little disappointing but the coleslaw was pretty good. I’d recommend it to people who like chains — it was clean/​nice inside and the staff was good. The food was chain food — nothing to complain about but nothing to write home about either.

first of all, AWESOME customer service, super friendly. Quick and Fast.
I do also like the food selection, they food came out quickly and was incredible. I had a bbq chicken wrap that was fabulous, and it came with fries that I loved. I’m usually not a thick fry girl but this place had incredible fries. I didn’t even need ketchup. thats rare and amazing.
This is reasonably priced, tasty and great service. the only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because there was nothing over the top about it. I’d go to a 99 again. but I could always pass.
