What a jerks the store manager was to me today. I bought a 9.7 Tab S232 gig and plug it up for a couple of days I had several long shifts at work. It would not charge or come on. It seems that the digitizer under the glass screen was broken. I go to the counter and ask for an exchange because its not working tell me to go to the department of course there’s nobody there. Once I start to head back the counter I had the cashier come over and told me that they couldn’t do the exchange because the screen was cracked the screen wasn’t craft a digitizer under the screen wasn’t crack in that can’t happen without the screen crack and after its a symbol which means it was cracked in the box at the manufacturer. I’m on my way back to the desk in the storm and rest stops me and asked me what he could do for me and I said well I don’t understand what’s going on here this things not even 3 days old give to my wife for Christmas it’s cracked under the screen not the screen which means it was cracked in the assembly and I’m getting hard time about an exchange wall make this one time exception he said to me bullshit I spend two grand buying two laptops in this unit you not making any exception. Long and short of it is if you buy anything at Best Buy I don’t care what it is check to make sure it functions 100% before you leave the store cuz they’re jerks when you go back especially in Colonial Heights be the last time I go to that store to buy anything. I asked for the district managers number and all I got was the 1800 number which is bullshit you don’t get answers back from there so crap service crap product crap people no wonder Best Buy struggling

I came in for a Chromecast. They had one, but I couldn’t find it on my own, so I had to ask for help. When I checked out, I was told that this would be the greatest addition to my streaming media devices and I would forsake the Roku and AppleTV… it hasn’t happened yet and I haven’t cast a single thing onto the Chromecast, and that’s not for a lack of effort. Otherwise, it was a great trip to Best Buy, even if I had to go to Southpark.

Quite a large selection of electronic games and supplies. Whatever you want for your home theater system is here. The people are nice and you can get your hands on any of the stuff. Play video games, open refrigerators, read DVD boxes. You name it!

This Best Buy is iffy. Some days I go and it’s good, some days I go and the service is horrible. Sometimes I’ll wait around 15 – 20 minutes before I can find someone to help me, and when they do help me, I feel like I’m being pressured into buying something I do not want. I am a computer geek, so I know quite some things, and I’ve been pressured into buying a $ 100 cable that’s «20x faster» then the $ 20 one, which I know is a huge lie. They generally don’t know much about any of the movies, music or video games that are out. You’d have a better time going to Target right down the way, the prices are better at Target generally too.

The single worst Best Buy in the world. Not only does this store suffer from usual Best Buy woes like not having enough employees, misleading special offers and a questionable store lay-out, but it is also the most poorly stocked I’ve ever seen. The computer section is about as robust as a large Walmart, there are no Apple products available(though an employee did explain that this is because Apple deems the area too low-income for their products), the TV staff are hit-and-miss, the cashiers have no idea what specials are going on, and I personally witnessed employees watching but doing nothing as a group of particularly immature junior high students broke the display models of their«Beats by Dr. Dre» headphones(side note about those headphones: this store has never, in the four months I’ve been here, had more than a single pair of «Beats» headphones in stock.) If you want video games, visit one of the several Game Stops nearby. If you want general electronics, visit the Radio Shack in the same strip-mall. If you want a Best Buy exclusive, drive to the Midlothian location.

I like this best buy … the people who work in the camera section are knowledgeable and super polite. THe tv section has been cluttered with that stupid lift thing the last couple times i have been in there. Im not sure what qualifications the people have to have to work in some departments(games, and movies) because those people were a little off their game:) customer service people are nice… and the greeters /receipt checkers at the door dont scowl at you like you stole something when your walking out either which makes me feel comfortable…
