First thing that surprised me was the place was actually quite large and spacious. When I see the word«café», I usually think of a small sandwich shop(with a starbucks type feel to it). This was not the case here. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Wait staff was friendly and able to make recommendations. We got the slam burger(bacon, avocado, onions, pepper jack cheese) and mels chicken cutlet(fried chicken sandwich). The burger was cooked perfect(medium like I ordered) and my wife said she would rank the chicken a solid 7 out of 10.

I love this place. I went to one of their original locations in Philadelphia and I guess I didn’t order the best thing which threw me off for a bit. I went to this location after hearing about it from my brothers girlfriend and it was incredible. I got the Tuscan chicken sandwich. It had Asiago, sun-dried tomatoes and artichokes in addition to a lot of other great flavors. My friend had the stuffed French toast. It was huge but also really delicious. Make sure you’re extremely hungry when you go here because the portions are enough to be your food for the entire day… that might just be me. But I eat a lot. So I don’t think it is just me. But yeah, go here! I went on a Monday afternoon and it wasn’t crowded. I’m not sure how busy they get on the weekends or during brunch. I just know that the Sabrina’s in Philadelphia get packed during the weekends.

Sabrina’s is my all time favorite brunch spot. I got a vegetable omelet the last time I was there and it was very Delicious and game with potatoes. Very filling !

Two stars for the three times they’ve messed up my order in the past four months. Also once waited an hour for a sandwich here. Disappointing compared to the other locations– they just can’t seem to get it together here.

Sabrina’s Café of Philadephia fame has finally crossed the bridge, and I’ve been so excited! This space is much more spacious with beautiful natural light compared to the Fairmount and U. City locations I’ve been to. Though, be warned: the brunch line here can be ridiculous on the weekends. I’ve stopped by before and it’s been 2 hours long(who is actually waiting that long?), but luckily my friend and I were greeted with a 20-minute wait a few weekends ago. We immediately agreed and went for a nice stroll down Haddon Ave since it was nice out. Once we came back, we had to wait about another 5 – 10 minutes for the table to be cleared and set. When we were seated, our waitress promptly opened our sparkling wine for us while we scoured the large menu. Ultimately, I settled on the Ultimate Mexi Scramble with GF sourdough and she got a fritatta. The wait didn’t seem to be that long for our food. I was super impressed by my dish. The pesto made the eggs very flavorful. However, it was the black bean grits that blew my mind. I wasn’t sure what to expect from them but they were so delicious! My friend’s fritatta was huge and she wasn’t able to even finish the entire thing, but she wished she could have. During our meal, it dawned on me why the wait is so long. Our waitress graciously did not rush us after we were done eating and allowed us to finish drinking our sparkling wine. The table of four next to us were also taking them time with their wine as well. If you can get a table, this is totally worth it!

So this was my first time here and I must say it won’t be the last! Atmosphere was very chill and the food was amazing! I must say their portions were huge and reasonably priced. I got the egg omelette which was huge. My friends got pancakes, french toast stuffed with a cream cheese mix and vegetarian Philly cheesesteak. Yes they have a great selection of vegan and vegetarian foods. I have to say we were happy with the whole experience. Will definitely return!

I’m so excited that I don’t have to drive into Philly to eat at Sabrina’s. The food and servers were great. I think they have gotten better than Green Eggs. The food is always consistent. They picked a great location along many other shopping areas.

A bit of nostalgia bubbled up whenever we drove by this place before trying it out. We frequented the one near the whole foods(art museum area) in philly for a while since it was only a few blocks away from our apartment. I’ve always been a fan of their specials, the wacky combinations of ingredients and the coffee(la colombe for those who care). Reviewing the brunch specials, which change often, I went with ‘Ice Cube’s It was a good brunch’ a fun riff on a previous song. Here’s the run down of ingredients… rye bread french toast, corned beef hash with peppers(not from a can), mustard worcestershire onions and cabbage, cheddar cheese spinach pesto bechamel, home fries(aka homies) and two over easy eggs. Think drunken leprechaun making eggs benedict and that’s what you have. A smörgåsbord of flavors and combinations may be too much for some, but I was able to battle my way through each delicious bite to the very end. The Mrs went with the Barking Chiuaua, one of their signatures, also delicious, their take on a breakfast burrito, loaded with scrambled eggs, beans, cheese and topped with red sauce and sour cream. Coffee cups always full, interesting clientele(side bar. talking with a friend about concerns over daughters eating habit while steadily devouring challah french toast stuffed with brownies, apples, oats, bananas and a cinnamon syrup kind of sets a hypocritical tone. anywho. I digress) The room itself is spacious, and may get loud from noise echoes despite the tall ceiling. The entire staff was extremely kind and always wanted to fill my coffee cup, a big plus for me. As with most great breakfast places, be sure to get here before 10 or expect a little wait.

my face now that this place is easily accessible. This place was delicious for brunch and looking forward to going for dinner. Although it’s now hard to walk away from that stuffed French toast Sabrina’s is super cute inside and energy is high. Servers and staff were all friendly and inviting. BYOB so you know I’m there! I was torn between the huevos rancheros and stuffed French toast and went with that. French toast made with challah bread and filled with sweet cream cheese in the middle, with some banana slices and drenched in syrup. Could’ve totally shared it because it was monstrous. Ended up taking half back home with me. I’m not sure if they take reservations but they do call ahead seating so that works out. Can’t wait to go back and try some other stuff on the menu!

I have enjoyed Sabrina’s other locations a few times and the Collingswood location meets all the high standards of the others. We stopped in for an no plan brunch on Sunday and was able to call ahead 30 minutes to place our name on the list. We put our name on for 1130 and we were seated at 11:40. Quick service great coffee and a large menu were the order for the day. Mom sampled the lox platter which was fresh and plenty to take home for tomorrow’s breakfast. I had the special egg sandwich which was chicken, black bean artichoke Kalamata olives and feta on a wheat wrap. It was outstanding. Prices are very reasonable We will return!

4.5 stars, i’ll round up. I tried the philly brunch spot a few years ago, it was decent back then. I really wanted to try their dinner menu. I selected this spot to catch up with a friend, it’s BYOB so that helped with the catching up part. The entrance was through the hallway not the double doors in the front. Not only did i find it confusing(despite the sign), many other patrons kept going to that door. Perhaps invest in a plant or a rope to block the entrance. We were sat right next to the«faux door» so we saw many many people get tricked using that door. The restaurant itself is really airy, clean, with an open layout. There dining room is surrounded by tables with bar height tables in the center. It doesn’t have that homey feel at their Philly location but that’s not a bad thing. This place feels fresher and much more spacious. Our server was awesome tonight. Very attentive, friendly, and just awesome. The dinner menu had some unique’ish items. I think all their breakfast/brunch items were available but i didn’t confirm. There were two specials that sounded good but we went for the menu items. –mussels in white sauce –fried chicken served with mashed potatoes and veggies –short ribs with polenta and spinach The mussels were really good! It was served with a chunk of fresh bread(about 4 slices?) spread with butter and freshly minced garlic! It was insanely addicting on its own or dipped in the sauce. I had the short rib. The dish was good, the sauce was a tad salty but if you mix it with the polenta it mellowed it out. The short rib was super tender and the portion was really filling. My friend got the fried chicken which i tried. I really liked that dish. The flavor profile was delicious. My friend thoroughly enjoyed it. I’d probably order that dish if i return for dinner. Overall, i thought the food was really good and the price was fair. Coupled with the amazing service and BYOB, this place is a win. I knocked .5 star for: 1. upon entering, i did notice a strong smell of food/grease/fried food. It wasn’t a bad thing, but it was something I was expecting. Perhaps their vents weren’t strong due to the rain? 2. A nearly empty dining are, i was shown to a fairly large table in front of the window with an L-shape bench and single chair. The bench(seating area) was fairly slim, making it a bit uncomfortable as the night went on.

Sabrina’s is an old reliable. I frequented the Sabrina’s located in the Italian Market in Philadelphia, and am thankful to have it in my neck of woods to bring family and visiting friends. The new location is cheery and refreshing. Calling ahead is a must because it gets very busy on the weekends for brunch/lunch. They offer a wide variety of options for those with diet restrictions and allergies. My go-tos are the Huevos Rancheros for brunch/lunch and the Sabrina’s Field Salad. Their chicken salad is also one of the best I’ve ever had. I like to try their specials that rotate every couple weeks. You definitely want to go there hungry, their portions are large and definitely shareable.

They don’t participate in OpenTable. However, they do utilize the ‘NoWait’ Android/iPhone app. This allows you to check-in on the app upon arrival(in conjunction with speaking to the host station) and will then place you in a queue. The app will show how many people are ahead of you and will then send you a text message when your table is ready. We had about 14 people ahead of us so we took a stroll downtown. Once the headcount on the app approached around two people, we headed back to the restaurant and boom, our table was ready. In any case, they have a large waiting room(a long hallway that is sheltered from the elements where you can sit and wait). Ambiance: We thought it was cozy, both my wife and I had enough elbow room. The restaurant was loud but the acoustics allowed us to have a conversation without having to shout. Service: Our server was great, no complaints. Food: The coffee(La Colombe) was very good. However, I wished it was a larger mug. My wife really enjoyed her turkey burger! Her only complaint was that is was stacked a little too high and was messy… If my memory serves me, the burger came with a fried polenta cake on top, she will ask for it on the side next time. I enjoyed my Mediterranean Wrap sandwich. The accompaniment of sweet potato fries was very good(especially with hot sauce!). Pricing: reasonable We have always enjoyed Sabrina’s Philadelphia locations and are happy that they chose to open a store in Collingswood!

Warning: you will wait a while for a table BUT it will be worth it. As big fans of Sabrina’s, we have been waiting for the Collingswood location to open! The food is good but the reason for knocking it down a star(and almost one more) was for the wait, service and noise. The restaurant is loud. We almost had to yell for our small group of 3 people so we could hear each other. It is a very noisy brunch spot despite being a small sized restaurant. We waited for about an hour, maybe more. TIP: call a half hour before you get there. You can put a call ahead in but only a half hour before your arrival. It will make the wait more bearable. There is a nice hallway with seating to wait for your table. THEFOOD: My brother got a short stack of the banana pancakes with a side of eggs. The eggs looked dry and mundane. But he LOVES the pancakes. You get two huge pancakes and he cleaned his plate. I had the half soup/half sandwich special. I got the chicken noodle soup which was better than expected and the Tuscan Sandwich. The sandwiches come on sesame seeded hoagie rolls and a half is HUGE. I asked for no red peppers or artichokes but when my food arrived the red peppers were still there. I had the sever bring them back to the kitchen. I am pretty sure they just took the red peppers off because I still could taste it. They also removed the tomatoes which was annoying because I love tomatoes. The fries are really good! You get a lot of food for this deal. The sandwich was delicious once I had it the right way. My mom had egg whites scrambled with cheese and toast. She said the eggs were nothing special and she probably wouldn’t order them again. Our server was not very friendly, would disappear and took a while if we asked for anything. I ordered some of the fresh squeezed orange juice but he never brought it. A little disappointing. The service was just not good. There was one woman in a tye dye shirt who was so sweet and helpful so props to her! Last tip– it’s BYOB. Almost every table had bottles of champagne and we’re ordering pitchers of juices. People made bloody Mary’s as well. We even saw people drinking at the counters while waiting for their table which I thought was a nice gesture for the restaurant to allow. Glad to have Sabrina’s in the neighborhood. Food is still good but I think they have some kinks to work out!

I went to Sabrina’s over the weekend for a friend’s birthday brunch. This location serves American comfort food with a bit of a foodie twist, and they have many vegetarian and vegan options as well as some gluten-sensitive options. If you have celiac’s and cannot eat gluten, fried items cannot be consumed, but there are some options. They take allergies seriously here, so make sure to make your waitstaff aware of your dietary restrictions, and they will make sure that you’re accommodated appropriately. This location is BYOB, and they were very accommodating, providing an ice bucket for champagne, a carafe of orange juice, and several champagne glasses shortly after our arrival. The design and layout is open and airy but hip, with booths and high-top tables. By the time we left(a bit after noon), there was a long line waiting to be seated. They are famous for their stuffed challah French toast(«farmer’s cream cheese topped with bananas and vanilla bean syrup»), so naturally I ordered this, as did many of my friends. The challah was thickly cut and a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture was spread between two slices. Then these«sandwiches» of sorts were dipped into egg and fried. This is then covered with bananas(I saw some come out of the kitchen with what appeared to be half of a banana in slices– I got maybe 3 – 4 on top of mine) and covered with syrup that has vanilla beans in it. Note if you’re allergic to bananas, they’re already mixed into the filling so this was off-limits to one of my friends. Anyway, while it was very good, the banana flavor was nearly non-existent and I have had better French toast(stuffed and otherwise) elsewhere. My friends and I agreed that there could’ve/should’ve been more banana flavor. For me, the variety of the menu’s offerings, portion size, reasonable price(for Collingswood anyway), friendly and helpful wait staff, and relaxed atmosphere are what sells the place. The food is good but not great, but it is a perfect place to accommodate a group of friends with varied tastes and dietary choices– and then maybe frequent the shops along Haddon Ave afterwards. Location, location, location!

I have been waiting for the grand opening of sabrinas in Collingswood since I first saw the window art and construction weeks ago. Arrived around noon on a Saturday and waited between 20 – 30 minutes for a table. They use nowait and you get text updates about your table. Inside waiting area with seating– so no freezing your tush off like philly locations. Seated at a high top table– note many of the tables are communal tables so two other couples we did not know were seated at the high top with us. Service is really prompt, can feel a little rushed. I think the servers are trying to move things along to help with wait times. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes. Standard sabrinas fare with menu you’ll recognize from the other locations. Running like a well oiled machine so whoever is managing doing a great job. No brunch specials yet, but I plan on coming back. Sabrinas in dirty jerz– hooray!

I am a big fan of Sabrina’s since I went to one location in Philly a few years ago and had breakfast. Couldn’t wait to try Collingswood location. Call ahead seating is great to avoid a wait since they don’t take reservations. First, the stuffed french toast is pretty delicious, with cream cheese filing, bananas, and vanilla bean syrup. Win! Not too sweet, and a must have. The Eggs Benedict Florentine was yummy. Hollandaise was flavorful and had more of a lemony taste. Although, I have one complaint. It does not come with Canadian bacon or any other kind of meat. Meat is $ 2 extra. Pretty disappointing. Thats a standard ingredient in Eggs benny. And my second egg was overcooked and not runny :(Ok, so thats two complaints. Still good though. The Huevos Rancheros was good. My bf liked the salsa, but could have liked it more spicy and egg more runny as well. Home fries were alright. Food came out pretty fast, what felt like about 10 minutes which was nice. I’d like to come back for lunch or dinner.

Yeah, Collingswood is teeming with exceptional fare. Yeah, Amy’s isn’t too far away. Yeah, you can get a killer brunch across the street at Tortilla Press. Does that mean Sabrina’s doesn’t have a place in the neighborhood? Not at all! What a welcome addition to Collingswood.(I realize I sound like I still live there… but, frankly, I might as well.) Situated right along Haddon Ave in the old home of Benny’s/West Side Gravy/Blackbird/etc., Sabrina’s is easily accessible and a bright light. And just like the other Sabrina locations, there was indeed a wait. as expected. The interior was revamped(no more obnoxious walls!) and looks right at home in the space. It’s the place you want to go after a long night out or even for a nice family gathering. Their meals are just like their other locations. I chose the combo for my lunch — chicken salad, soup of the day(broccoli cheddar) and Parmesan fries. So good! Topped it all with a cup of jasmine tea, and I walked out stuffed and happy. Note that there’s a nice indoor area with seats for your waiting period. It’s a little chilly since it’s not heated, but it’s much better than waiting by the curb! If you love Sabrina’s, you’re sure to enjoy your visit to this location.

My wife and I have been looking forward to Sabrina’s opening up in Collingswood ever since it was announced months ago. Previous to this location opening, when we wanted Sabrina’s we would call up every location in the city, put our name in to the one with the least wait time, then try to get over the bridge in time. We’re very excited that now with Sabrina’s around the corner, it’ll just be a quick walk over. We were there last night for dinner on opening night, which is actually the first time either of us have had something other than brunch there. We shared a burger with long hots and provolone and a fried chicken dinner entrée, which involved fried chicken with chicken gravy, fried onions served on a biscuit. Both were excellent. The burger came with a slaw on the side that had an interesting of cilantro, and the sweet potato fries, which came with powdered sugar on top, also had a little bit of a syrupy taste to them. These little things that delight you are what sets Sabrina apart. Beyond the great food, I really appreciate that they brought their standards of service over to Collingswood as well. Everyone was attentive and professional. We’re really glad Sabrina’s is in the neighborhood, and we can’t wait to take all of our friends and guests here for brunch and dinner.

I would like to say that having Sabrinas open a location in Collingswood adds to the food scene but that would be an inadequate understatement. This restaurant elevates the already diversified dining options. Mt hope is that you continue to do you Sabrinas! I find too often that when Philly restaurants cross the bridge to branch out in Jersey they, in my humble opinion, change their flavor profiles to appeal to what I am guessing is a more suburban palate. For example Han’s Cherry Hill is about half as spicy and twice as sweet as the flagship old city location. So I was very happy to find the same great service, same great depth of flavors and same great inventive and visually appealing food as their city counterparts. I ordered coffee which was strong, piping hot and full of buzz, the Huevos Rancheros and a side of Bacon. Portions are gargantuan and artfully plated. each layer of my Huevos Rancheros was richly seasoned and I would have gladly given a 5 star rating based on depth of flavort, service and comparison had it not been for the overcooked eggs and lackluster guacamole. I know the dish called for fried eggs but I didn’t think I had to specify for a soft yolk vs. a fully cooked dry yolk so that may be my fault. However, a sauce, salsa or salsa verde was not part of the dish so the lack of an unctious, creamy ir spicy sauce or even an oosing yolk left the dish a tad on the dry side. Otherwise, keep it all up and welcome to the neighborhood! I will be back everytime I take my puppies to their groomer down the street thats for ding dang sure!!!
