Willowick Apartments

DO NOT RENT HERE!!! They will screw you over with the rent and not take responsibility on their faulty online payment system. I paid our rent once with the online payment system. I paid $ 600 on the site. A week later we got a notice saying that we didn’t pay our rent. I was like um yea we did. I went and looked at our bank acct and it overdrafted us the $ 600+an additional $ 400! (We had the $ 600 in the acct, the extra $ 400 over did it) We showed them and we explained to them that there must be a error on their end and it needs to be looked at. We told management that we were not paying whatever they said we owed being that they overdrafted us and we didn’t want to pull more money out if there was a possibility that they could redraft that amount. We all agreed that they would investigate the issue and would be okay with that arrangement. A week later, we got a 3 day notice for the «balance» and we brought it up to them again and they said oh that is just a formality. About 8 days later we got served eviction papers and now have an eviction on our record because of them. We thought that the court would see that we paid what we owed and that the apartment was at fault with their online system being at fault. Nope. Mind you all the while the apt manager was all «We will get this straightened out, no worries» it never once entered out mind that we could get evicted over a computer error. That was just ONE issue. We had the worst upstairs neighbor EVER. We understand that living downstairs it is bound to happen to hear your upstair neighbors walkiing around but when they shake the light fixture, blare the music, leave their windows open which in turn makes her nervous dogs bark all day long, that is just too much! We always asked them to keep it down as my husband worked graveyards at a hospital, the girl would try but her boyfriend (who had his own apt around the corner but stayed at her place) he didn’t. Its like he did it on purpose. We reported it to management and they did nothing but send them a note. That only made it worse. So yea, run far away from this place… VERY FAR.
