Went here a couple times while visiting College Station. A great little distillery. The«white» whiskey was excellent! I hope to be back and try some of the aged stuff. They serve whiskey tasters and even whip up a few tasty cocktails as well. As a bonus, there are often food trucks out front on the weekends, and a brewery next door. The owner was a really nice guy, and fun to chat with about all things whiskey.

My has this place become a popular weekend visit. Having tasted an outstanding beer that Nathan Barkman made a few years ago it helped me decide to start home brewing. As I nearly a year ago designated this and New Republic Brewery as «Alcohol Station» I am updating that. Since I named it I can rename it right? LOL! I’ll call it «Craft Beverage Station» now. The seating is nice to have and it’s totally awesome to have been able to see their bottling process right down to where they label it one bottle at a time. No kidding! See photos from today during«Aggieland Food Fight». Nathan is a very popular person and when you wait to be able to talk to him, it’s worth it. Class establishment. A College Station original and now apparently a travel destination must see.

Great whiskey made by fabulous people. Stop by on a Friday or Saturday evening and, if you’re over 21, have a sample of their 2 whiskeys: Whistle Stop and Boxcar. Whistle Stop is unaged and clear. It has a smooth, clean flavor and finish. Boxcar is the barrel aged version with an interesting coconut vanilla note. Both work beautifully in mixed drinks, which are available for purchase at the distillery. The whiskeys are available for purchase at the distillery, as well as at Spec’s.

Went to check out the facility and the product. Was quite impressed. The liquor was quite good. A little on the pricey side but not bad. The taste and effects made it worth the money in the end. The tour was cool. Was nice to learn about things like this. My husband had a great time. The people were very very friendly. Loved visiting with them. The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars is ambiance. It was like standing in a warehouse(a small one at that). Perhaps over time they will grow and make a patio or lounge area for visitors to relax while indulging in their brew.
